I bought the Gixxer 155 exactly a month ago and I enjoy it thoroughly every time I ride it. Only thing that's causing me trouble is the comfort. The day I bought it I had to ride back to my town which is 120 kms from showroom. After like 30 to 40 mins of ride I felt my left palm (yes! Only in left palm) getting numb (nothing to do with vibrations) because of the seating position. I think the weight is getting transferred on to the palm as he has said in the 250 cc version also (because both 155 & 250 cc have the same design). The rest of things, I do not regret even once buying the 155. Take the bike for a test ride and you will surely love it. I took test ride for all other bikes in this segment but this engine refinement is on an another level. Please never ever doubt reliability of Japanese engines ;) Also this 155 cc is best mainly for city commuting + weekend rides. Btw mileage is 50-55 kmpl(after 2nd service) in city
PS : Sorry for the lengthy comment but thought of helping others. Also kudos to the reviewer for mentioning the comfort issue because it is such an important one every reviewer is skipping.
@@itachiofthesharingan67 I tested with empty tank method and got exactly 60kmpl. Now I realised that full tank method is the accurate way of testing mileage for Fuel Injected bikes. So if at all any error in my first test, it would have given atleast 55+ kmpl at all costs. Remember, the mileage I mentioned is before 1st service and I have driven cautiously without crossing 4500rpm as suggested in the manual. I have got my 1st service done now and the engine feels absolutely amazing, much better than before. As per my knowledge, bikes give better mileage after 1st service, so by that principle even if revved moderately (upto 7000rpm), bike will give you 50-55kmpl.
I travel in hilly area first day 100km and I got approx 33kmpl... Is that Okay because I gave lots of throttle..
@@jeevansinghmehta9751 Always follow the bike manual given, hence the 4500rpm limit. Break in period is the most sensitive one of all and determines how well your bike performs in the long run. Leave about the past (your 100kms) and try to drive it sensibly now. Cheers!! 😃

I have Gixxer it's 4/5 yers old still same power, milige 45 in city , I have run 86000km & it's still gud condition, engine is awesome I love Suzuki ♥️

Riding since last year June..
1. Power is good for city.
2. Brakes are awesome.
3. Riding posture not at all comfortable, can't ride more than 1.5-2 hrs staright..
4. Pillion seat not comfortable.

Old gixxer looks way better n sporty dan new one...suzuki should continue old gixxer wid small modification by removing long tail n keep tiny tail...now it looks horrible when you ride...

I bought gixxer 4 years back, ran on the highway, mountain, city, and countryside more than 45K. It corners well, pick up is nice and pulls really well, driving comfort for a rider is good and for pillion is it average (due to seat). The fuel economy is also decent. Overall It is a good bike, I liked it. There are some issues like hard gear shifts and instrument cluster, engine ignition restarts while driving in the rainy season. As per the service center, the key slot or key slot assembly has an issue but it didn't resolve after replacing it. And service center dudes have no idea how to fix this issue now. Service is not great as compared to rivals and maintenance, replacement of the part is costlier than Honda, Yamah. I have heard hard gearing issues with a few other owners as well. They have replaced some gear parts from the engine and chain-sprocket as well, but still, it is on the harder side.
I own this bike the black colour bs4 one....it's been 1 yr since I took....really wonderful...getting milage near 50km per lot which is awesome...style with comfort...... excellent bike....no regrets

I took the test ride of Fzs v3 too, even it's brakes are really good. And for the new update for Fz, Fz got side stand engine cut off, 3D logo of Fz. 2 kg lighter now, that is 135 kg. Bluetooth connectivity, and optional Led flasher or indicator

Could you open the side panel and check how large the battery is? Or check in the manual. I've read online that its just 3Ah which is very small for a fully electronic bike.

Ofcourse I Already Known All the Details.. 2019 Gixxer Is Bs6 Complaince(80% bs6 engine)& 2020 Gixxer is Bs6 ready(100% Bs6 Engine) its really Unfair & Not Deserve to Be increment Of Almost 12k... As There is no Big differences Made in New 2020 bike... Just 20% Engine Change & The Engine safety Below of Engine... Thats it.. Gixxer 150 is a very beginner friendly bike ,you can maneuver the bike within the city very effortlessly,the balance of the bike is awesome and brakes are superb.If you are a beginner and want a 150 to 160 cc bike eyes closed go for gixxer 150.

It is very comfortable for 100km in a stretch the pillion seat is ok not so comfortable but useable .. it also depends on the Rider body how much comfort he wants...its good bike for long drives and commute to college or City

You can't ride more than 1.5-2 hrs comfortably, pillion comfort is not so good man.. definitely not for mom.

Hello... i have gixxer 155 BS3 version. I bought it in year 2015. Now I have completed 148000 km running. The bike is absolutely fantastic comfort, pickup and mileage is also good. Still I am getting mileage of 50 kmpl in city

My friend bought a gixxer 155 bs6 and bored the stock holes of the dual port silencer and now its sounding 🔥. So damn amazing.
He is happy with the bike. The engine is awesome, its suzuki man. Buttersmoothly refined. As its 2 valve, its good for city and weekend rides. Not meant for a complete throttle guy. They need to preffer apache 160 / ns 160 for good top end
What is the on road price difference between 160 4v & this?
If someone is not only looking for outright power.... thus IS the best bike in the segment.
Price should've been 1lakh 5-6k max though... they said the bs4 bike had bs6 engine ready. The huge increase for bs6 doesn't justify.
Suzuki already doesn't have a good service network... on top of that this pricing issue will eat up the sales numbers.

My gixxer fi 155 is very new. After putting the key in and ignition switch on meter is showing orange engine trouble light. But after bike start it goes off. Is it normal? Or any issue i should be aware of?

I proudly own this bike ...it is best for students as it is very light on the pocket good... excellent mileage..good looking ..good for long drives ...very comfortable and good driving experience...for the price it's good ....you should buy this if you can't buy the R15 or other in this segment..if you are planning to buy a high end scooter like Aprilia sr150 or Vespa..buy this bike instead it come at less price then those scooter

Comparing to Apache 1604v bs6 ,this bike is 10k more expensive , Apache is loaded with features n this is less powerful than both Apache n ns160 ,and I guess we must support our indian brands like Tvs and bajaj
