I am loving this mod in FS25, it was my go-to in FS22 for guidance steering. I have the features I frequently set up on my Stream Deck, making it much easier to use. The in-game GPS in FS25 is excellent, but with this mod, it opens up a lot more options, especially when making your own custom fields.

They should have anoption for the lines to disappear over a certain speed... Or percentage of speed... so if the working speed is 10klm then maybe the lines disappear after 5klms... that way when you slow back down they can come back on...
This is far too overcomplicated and uncomfortable to use. If there's one thing that GIANTS executed well, it's steering assist. The only complaint I have is that harvesters can't start using it before driving onto the field.
@@davidvanmol5199 There is no such thing as "too simple". You could want some additional features and options, but in this case even a simple straight line is overcomplicated.
Great looking mod, but it can be complicated to use, I think giants has done a good job on the built in one, however some of the other features are great, the HUD improvements, mileometer, parking break etc. On the previous game I had a mod call VCA (Vehicle Control Assist) which had a really easy to use GPS system, however it improved driving on the keyboard, at the moment even 10% rollback on the steering is way too much and feels like your constantly jerking the wheel tap tap tap tap... arrrh does my head in. Yes I know, use controller, but I can't due to medical reasons, and I hate them. K/M is the way! Thanks for showing this off, think I'll wait for v1 and give it ago anyway.
Kind of piontless... The AI work the fields just fine as is.. The only mod needed is the one where the AI drive along side the harvesters and collect the grain and deliver and repeat..
I noticed awhile ago that the game has the compass headings flipped, @4:52 the left shows 0.1 degrees but the Cardinal Arrow indicating North is at the bottom of the map circle indicating that the tractor is facing South which EVC correctly displays.
oh interesting, I'll have to pay closer attention to the sun path and see whether it is a hemisphere thing and I just assumed North was upwards. I've also heard of a number of people who use stream deck for shortcuts, sounds like it works really well

Courses are almost always 360º, take a look at the direction you are traveling on the field, this is where your course comes from. Mine works correctly, probably its because your using head up display on the mini map, with North up display(square mini map) it reads correctly as in reality your going true South,(180º).
I have 3 negatives for the base game assisted steering.. 1 - all vehicles that can do any field work come gps/steering assist built into the tractor.. it needs to be a bought item per machine.. not all tractors can have fitted gps assisted steering so its dumb that all machines come with it built in by the game... 2- need to be able to set my own A-B lines.. options for straight as well as bendy lines.. 3- branded GPS/Guidance systems.. the game seem to have different brand screens like TOPCON in some tractors, as well as the real world sounds that work when gps is enabled in that vehicle which is cool, but I really wish the screen was usable, like seeing the guidance lines, swath width and painted worked area on the screen as it would look irl, rather than gps lines in front of the tractor on the paddock.

My favorite mod for FS22, the only problem is that tractor doesn't stop at the end of the field (auto turn on), so if you have big map it just keep going and going🤣
unable to get it to work have downloaded a few times. deleted old file and reinstalled in to mod folder but still not showing up in game. any suggestions?
Anyone else using controller not able to Activate any of the AI now? B is default, I tried changing keybind as well. Nothing works. Keyboard still works.
@ArgsyGaming idk what has happened, i was using it yesterday, now all of a sudden. I cant do any AI from my controller. Tried it without mods and a new save. Nothing.
@@caaarl6588 Farmers in real life don't use it to turn around at the end. Its not autonomous. It just runs the straight lines and monitors in the tractor tell you were you been on the field as you go.

Yea, but try controlling that with a controller which is who they aim the game at. Would need some sort of dashboard screen to open up so they can move around it and select the options, like a virtual numpad or something.

Finally. GPS with automatic turns at the end of the field to the next line. Something I was heavily using in FS17 and was missing in FS19-22

That is a nice option to have. hope the guys read the comments and pick up on this, or you could leave a comment on their github page.
Thats simple to do, you can just pickup the mod, ask GPT to read all the mod scripting and add a function to do that :D

I miss having the A+B line option. but otherwise giants did great on this one for it being the first time👍
Giants version is too simple.

not really, i would say 2 out of 3 times, my ai workers get stuck trying to do a headland
EHV was my solo game of choice to use in FS22. It was an excellent mod.

check you are downloading the actual zip file and not the full development folders, someone had a similar issue and was downloading the wrong files

That's a strange one, worked first time for me. Make sure it's not in a secondary folder? Or zipped inside a zip?

@@FarmSimUniverse doing it on MP? ive seen there are others who´ve had this happen, but only in MP. that they cant activate an AI worker.

fair enough, I was always a Wopsters Guidance Steering fan, never tried VCA until FS22, now can see the attraction, I think this one could be similar

@@harag9 Well its not designed with the limitations of consoles in mind now is it, it adds more features and immersion than the base GIANTS "version".
