@@ImMalloryBrooke you know I will! Does it help with energy? Lately, I've had ZERO energy and just all around blahhhhh. If it doesn't, do you have any recommendations of a tea that does so? I drink too much damn coffee and want to go to tea. PINKY UP! lol
Yes I agree Primers can be sooo gimmicky! I love the Too Faced Hangover primer only one that works with my dry sensitive skin 😩 I like that it’s silicone free 🙌🏻
OMW can we just pause for a minute... how beautiful Mallory is looking love the soft beat and that wave in that hair😊💯. But when that blowdryer sound effect came up 🤣 love it ❤
Superdry and dehydrated skin here - my skin sucks the life out of most foundation (even though I use toner, serum and mosturizers) and it ends up looking like polka dots😬😳 on my skin Sometimes it helps to use a little Squalane first - but I am about to give up on foundation😭 I have tried a lot of primers - no luck.
@@ImMalloryBrooke One thing that I have noticed is the the only foundation that looks kind of decent (Shiseido Synchro Skin GLOW) has cyclopentasiloxane as no 2 ingredient and most of the others I have tried have dimethicone as a no 1~2~3 ingredient. I can see that you recommend (among others) Armani Luminous Silk and Laura Mercier Flawless Lumiere foundations. And those two have cyclopentasiloxane as no 2 ingredient.... so worth a try. (I am a new sub - so I have not watched all your videos yet (still working my way through😀) Which one of those two do you think will be best - looking for medium coverage and satin or radiant finish.
I usually don't like foundations either, as I have dry skin too. I usually wear moisturizer or tinted hydrating sunscreen. Then I'll just spot correct with a cream concealer and blend out/set with a spray.
Your sense of humor 🙌🏼👏🏼😂 love but also thanks for this video now I know what the LM really does. I was thinking about getting it soon but I feel like it would be a lot like the supergoop glow screen that I just bought so I’ll wait a lil 😌
@@ImMalloryBrooke thank you for replying💕 before may would be cool, I am going to order the armani luminous silk primer as well and summer is near😅 again, thank you for making these videos!!🙏🏼
I have dry skin and the elf luminous putty primer didn’t work well on me. It looked wonderful at first but dried out by the 4th hour. Specifically around my nose, the foundation began to crack
I got a sample size of the Bobbi Brown moisturizing primer and I have been loving that, but I definitely want to give your suggestions a try.. cuz my face is drrrrryyyyy
Dry, dehydrated with closed comedone prone skin (not to mention dark acne scars. How do you prime that? My main concern or top concern is the state of my foundation in flight as i work as a flight attendant with that skin condition!😭 i try to prep my skin really well but still foundation will look it sits on top of my skin after many hours into the flight. I need a good primer and foundation that will not only address that but my white heads prone skin too. I break out easily😢
I've got combo skin but much drier in winter those last few years, and I feel like need all of those 😁😉😉 I'm usually using Becca Backlight Filter or Dior Backstage Primer or Nyx Dew me Up but I'm sure your recommendations are better at keeping skin well moisturized 🙌 Wishing you a nice sunny weekend ☀️💐☀️
I have oily skin. I’ve tried soooooo many primers and I’ve come to the conclusion they just don’t work for me 👎🏼. Which sucks because I really want them to do what they say they are going to do lol
Yeah I sport it didnt hydrate enough for myself either just love the scent lol yeah love the glow and scent for that one too lol. Smash box primerizer is good too butt veryyy runny but I found that was super hydrating
Thanks so much for making your videos. It is sooo hard to find videos on here these days that aren't of young, millennials with perfect skin... Like yeah duh, of course your makeup is going to look flawless when you have a perfect base... Mine did too when I was 18. Lol. Now that I am 30 and didn't take care of my skin when I was younger... I would literally cover myself, head to toe, in baby oil and bake in the sun for hours on a regular basis... Daily if I had the time... And did I use any skincare... Rarely. I'm paying the price now... It is muchhhh harder to have a flawless loom with any type of skin problems... And even harder when your skin changes up on you... Like I use to have super oily skin and now I have normal to dry skin... But since I live in Florida with a shit ton of humidity my dry patches even get oily some days. Lol. Sounds crazy... But if you're from here you will get it. Lol. Anyways, I just want to say thanks for making these videos. Cause they truly help a lot of us who have dry skin with large pores and uneven texture... I seriously think you are wayyyyy more talented than majority of the people on here. Cause it is absolutely 100% harder to look flawless with problem skin... Yet you always do it. I'm still trying to master my aging skin. Lol. My biggest problem right now is my makeup can be on point but then after a bit my forehead lines are like BAM BITCH!!! right in your face... And no amount of spray is going to fix it either. Ive tried sooo many different type of everything... And I'm honestly thinking of saving up for a chemical peel after Christmas... That's how desperate I am... And I am broke as a joke but I'd go without something else just for my skin to be better. So if you have any advice on this it would be greatly appreciated... Also, I struggle with my pores too, which are HUGE and like I said it's so humid hear that your skin is going to feel oily by the end of the day sometimes even if it is super dry. Ahhhh! Please help. Thanks. Alecia 💕
It’s like u read my mind. I’ve needed a primer reset. I literally hate all mine and tossed them out(“What made me buy this???”). I only kep Tatcha bc it gives kinda coverage on bare skin-plus I ^really^ want it to work.😂 I’m surprised not to see the Becca primer-it really is beautiful but on me it broke me out horribly😢 When I buy primer now, it’s gonna be Laura M....in fact I’m gonna restock everything with her stuff bc it looks great on you and doesn’t hurt crazy-skin. I haven’t bought any “good” face makeup since TheSituation started bc why get all pretty to have ur face wipe off inside a mask🤷🏼♀️ I’ve been using Korean sleep packs as primer instead, and patting on a bit of cushion bb/cc/foundation. A k-beauty YTer said to try it-works great but doesn’t blur or glow like Becca(can u tell I’m bitter that didn’t work?😂) Ty so much for this awesome primer review-it’s exactly what I’ve been needing. 💗💐
@@ImMalloryBrooke omg i had no idea!😱 I’m shooketh! All their stuff was just amazing as far as color, consistency and what it did...I just have really crotchety skin so few things work w/o messing it up.
