"Playable" on the toss, by my way of thinking would mean that you're not having to scramble for a ball that requires a shift of weight in any direction away from the opimal leg drive/ ball release arm position. Thanks again John for your nuanced serve breakdowns & Tanya, your great gal!.. you can be my doubles partner any day of the week!😊
Thanks John for your comments and contribution to the lesson! Kindly, John
Fantastic deconstruction and re-assembly of the advanced-level service action - the best I have seen to date. I don't blame Tanya for doing that little dance after hitting a peach of a serve with her new action!
Thanks Phil for the great feedback! Spread the word! Kindly, John
Great lesson John...thanks a lot and greetings from Brisbane.
Thanks Kevin. I hope you all are well down under! Looking forward to the AO! Cheers, John
Really amazing value of many powerful tips that can really help people learn the serve! I'll use them when I'm teaching! So thanks a lot!
Thanks so much for the great feedback! Best, John
You, Tomaz, and Salzenstein are my favorite coaches.
Jeff and Tomaz are great coaches. I am honored to be mentioned in the same company! Thanks!
Bravissimo! Great instructional video. To have a good trophy pose is crucial to develop a professional serve motion.

15:30 WHERE the acceleration takes place is a concept Tomaz helped me with on groundstrokes. Still implementing that, but this will help me a lot for serves, so thanks. Tomaz said strokes should sound more like vvvvvrOOM in your head. I'm not sure if this is for accuracy while adding power to your swing, or because holding the power and and releasing it on the ball appears to add a ton of spin on the ball. Especially to ab amateur like myself. Some strokes I tap into this crazy spin and pace, and then other I mis hit and barely get to the net.
Thanks for good videos.
Here is a video that will help you understand this concept even more: ua-cam.com/video/Rhu091QRr2Q/v-deo.html
Thanks for watching. So glad the my videos are helpful to you! Best, John
Reliving the lesson was really helpful. I feel like all I need to do if my serve goes walkabout is watch and learn, baby, watch and learn! Thank you!
HI Tanya, It is such a pleasure to coach you! Keep up the great work! Kindly, John

I hope so too! Best, John
John, I land after serve into the court with my right foot first. I am not sure what is causing it and how do I correct it. Can you please help? Thanks!!
Hi Shri, Without seeing your serve I have no way of giving you feedback. If you want me to perform a complete evaluation, please contact me through my website: performanceplustennis.com/contact-us/
she’s a great student, but as a senior beginner I cannot follow that trajectory of that particular serve. maybe one day I will get it.
Never give up!!
