@@-NOVA-2023 Been there, buddy. For your phone, it is probably the high mids specifically frequencies starting from 4khz to 7-8khz. Taming them and adding a bit of 100-200hz might rescue your audience who listens with phones. The mix sounding drastically different in various devices problem mostly stems from EQ issues. Don't go dramatically away from the standard frequency levels while boosting or reducing. It can quickly destroy the sound balance. The frequency levels when closer db to each other cover the frequency response issues for most of the audio devices. Hence making your mixes work with all. Also, don't go crazy with the pannings too. In mono outputs, panned channels might phase out, and cancel each other resulting in reduced sound levels.
@@yungwarlordXI Yeah, it might be that the phone has some issues too. I think you might still want to check your EQ to see if there are any drastic high-mid movements. Also forgot to mention that the compressor also gives additional saturation and grit in tiny speakers. Resulting your balanced saturation sounding like a chainsaw.
It all depends on your project. You can’t just copy and paste all he did. You do what’s best for your audio. The only thing to learn from here is the tool he’s using. Copying and pasting the way he used the tool won’t do any good to your audio bc audios are different
“Listen to the mastered version”
