How does one measure an adventure? The undiscovered road is a road to Adventure and we got you covered on that note. Our Adventure format took the riders 60% road with twisties and 40% offroad with river crossings and balsa as challenges confront them when they least expected it and when they thought everything is set, there was more to come.
You measure it with 14 teams on a tour/travel itinerary beginning in Clark Global City, (Angeles) Pampanga and encompassing the provinces of; La Union, Abra, Kalinga, and ending in Nueva Vizcaya.
Participants answered the call not knowing what to expect. For adventure junkies the unexpected is everything. Far from a race, the FJ Moto Mountaincross Adventure offered 2 days of challenges to the hilt. These challenges were devised by the FJ Moto Enduro Team and The Long Riders to bring out the best and the adventurous spirit among riders. Team dynamics played a huge role in different stages of the expedition, in return teaching participants the value of camaraderie, patience, and teamwork, Ultimately the obstacles, pitstops, and travel map laid by the FJ Moto Enduro team and The Long Riders are just too much for some teams to handle resulting involuntary termination from the tour competition. For reasons ranging from; technical to protecting adventure bikes which is understandable as these motorcycles are costly to acquire and maintain. The FJ Moto Enduro team and The Long Riders appreciate their endeavor and look forward to their participation in future ADVENTURES.
What sets the event a part is the trails of life-changing experiences in the whole tour. Skills we're pushed to the limit and personal goals we're overcome. Perhaps the true reward at the end of the FJ Moto Mountaincross Adventure is how the riders touched lives in ways they could not have expected. The finishers had the pleasure of being welcomed by the Gubang Tribe, Abra Malibcong at Camp 1. Guest/riders were offered the tribal brew; "BASI" which by account is a sign of honor and protection offered by the tribe. And Camp 2 Kalanguya Tribe, Salacsac, Sta Fe Nueva Vizcaya where the tribe performed their traditional dances and prepared sumptuous dinner for all the riders. The entire tour can be summed up as an awakening of the senses and the spirit. A new outlook and definition of adventure and rewarding the spirit through giving and by paying it forward. The simplest joy recounted by riders from; tasting the best pork Mami ever to the serenity of nature is what pushes the FJ Moto team to aspire for more life-changing tour adventures.
