@@roguedragoon9212 Not really. cause of it's roll out it was somewhat unsuccessful, but I liked it. Speaking of characters, it's always fun to play as Ryu from Ninja Gaiden. DOA6 is a a good game but release was almost SF5 bad; DOA tried the KI approach but didn't quite get it right. The rerelease of snks entire catalogue of neogeo fighters on consoles and Steam+ damn good new Samurai Showdown and KoF 15 announcement might have to do with the reach.

VF is more grounded on realistic moves I dont think SNK fighters would translate well into it. Maybe Bob Wilson from Fatal Fury if I had to pick since VF lacks a Capo fighter like Tekken, SF III and 3D Fighter Maker do; just would have to tone down some of his crazy stuff

Love playing Terry in FEXL just as much as in Fatal Fury and KOF. The command grab is a weird addition tho but I’m not complaining, the more tools the better. I definitely feel like he’s top tier.

Terry hasn’t aged because KOF and Fatal Fury are separate canons. The Fatal Fury timeline ends with Garou: MOTW. KOF is a spin-off dream match series. In fact most of the FF cast in KOF are slightly different in personality and lifestyle than they are in Fatal Fury. Seems to be on purpose so they can make them different from their FF counterparts and keep the continuities as separate as possible.
And changing a character age is not very popular also
I wouldn't mind if CvS3 or KOFXV looks like Ex Layer, especially that stage in the Allen fight looks so KOF-ish
1. Oda confirmed last year that CVS3 isn't happening.
2. I take it you meant to say KOF XV, right? If so, SNK's already got it covered with the UE4.
I dont think we will be seeing a Capcom vs SNK game until 2021. 2001 is the 20th Anniversary of Capcom vs SNK 2. My guess is we might see a collection with Online play for the next gen consoles and then a new CVS game of some kind.
I am fairly certain that King of Fighters Destiny is a tease to how the next KOF is gonna look. If you havent watched Season 1 yet I highly recommend it. Someone has condensed all the episodes into 1 movie on youtube. The graphics for that series are pretty impressive.
People need to give up hope on CVS3. Not gonna happen.

Belart Wright Occult Gaming its not the snk's origins, Snk as a company is older than capcom, its a shade from the developers to capcom since they produced and developed three 3d street fighters games.

I mention SNK, because Terry has a direct connection to the competitive history between Capcom and SNK. But yeah, this could be Arika taking a dig at Street Fighter, or not. You could read into it what you will.
Belart Wright Occult Gaming so three or four game developers quit capcom because they did not like where there business practices were headig so they left, and went to work for snk who already had plans for all these fighting games just hired new experts to help out it just happened to be that these experts were some f the main guys responsible for the first street fighter and they left while the second one was somewhat in development.
Anyway that happened at the end of the 80's and start of the 90's so again i do not see how snk existed only because of these programmers since snk is founded 1973 (from what i remember, so everything i wrote is from things i read while digging up information about snk and other gaming stuff so everything is from what i remember).

Smash needs an SNK rep in general. We got Terry (Fatal Fury), Ryo (Art of Fighting), Kyo (The King of Fighters), Haohmaru (Samurai Shodown), Marco (Metal Slug), the possibilities are endless at this point.

Its a shame this game is not selling more. Akira did such an amazing job with this one. The gameplay is fun, the game look great and you can feel they put at lot of care and love in this game
The art design and OST in this game is top notch. At lot of other franchises could learn from this one. You dont needs high level budget to make a great game. All you need is people who care about the game and giving the best product possible to make people happy playing it

I’d be for Hibiki getting put in. And as the high-damage single-hit Iaido user she is, her fighting style relative to her game matches up perfectly with the general appeal of high-risk footsies that makes Samurai Shodown unique.

Terry was born in 1971 which woulda made him 20 years old in Fatal Fury 1 in 1991. And in the Mark of the Wolves, the last Fatal Fury game, which, despite coming out to Arcades in 1999, was set in the year 2006 where Rock Howard, who was born in 1989, was 17 yrs old (since he was 6 yrs old when Geese died in Real Bout Fatal Fury in 1995), Terry was 35 yrs old.
So now he's 48 years old while Rock is now 30.
Up there in age but still younger than Akira from Virtua Fighter, Ryu from Street Fighter and Kiryu from Yakuza.

Iori Yagami in Mortal Kombat and Kenshi in Samurai Shodown! Why I chose this two simply because Iori was always a brutal person and has no problem in killing while Kenshi is a swordsman. I know Scorpion is fitting in Samurai Shodown too, plus he is more iconic, but I chose Kenshi because we already have an OG Hanzo in Samurai Shodown...we don't need MK version of Hanzo.

i love using juggernaut against friends that never played the game, the wtf effect always work. Especially with blair. It's also a good way of forcing them try using different gougi.
If you know the triggers you can play accordingly.Also infinity is terrible for the way he play, it's like max barely tried to understand the game...he's playing garou, you can see it as he never use/tech grabs but instead wake ups or reactions. The funniest part is he complain about the ai blocking, but still never use grabs lol. he would still beat my ass i think, but he could do better.
It'd be really neat if everybody's level 3 supers were added into the game. Kairi's enormous laser would look amazing in this game.

I would like a physical version but the Japanese/Asia versions are vanilla as they come with hardly anything on the disc. I would like a reissue of the finished game physically when its completed.
