Was the sticking problem due to what you used to clean the floor, do you think?

Floor pops aren’t meant to be used on a non smooth surface, tiles have a dip where the grout is. I recommend probably putting plain contact paper from Walmart on the floor and then putting the floor pops down. The contact paper is much smoother than the tiles so it should stick better. 😀

Looks great! Can you paint tile flooring? Maybe try that down stairs? I’m not brave enough to try projects like this!

The basement isn’t real tile so it would have probably actually been better to try the floorpops down there! I’m just nervous about the water!

@@eliza_beth_clem I just found your video. But try a subfloor if you're nervous about the water. I used a cheap shower curtain liner from Dollar Tree and then an underlayment type paper for the rest of my apartment.

I’m so sorry you had such a bad experience with your foot pops! I used some in my bathroom (lots of steam and wet floors and humidity from our dryer) and they worked amazingly! I didn’t even caulk (although I 100% wanted to!!!)

I just bought 5 boxes of Floor Pops.... oh no 🤦‍♀️ I plan on doing exactly what you just did, the floor and mirror frame. I’ve never seen any bad reviews with Floor Pops, everyone makes it look so easy 🤷‍♀️ I’m in the process of painting my bathroom light blue right now & I’m just gonna continue. Yours does look nice in the end..

I used for pops in my bathroom and loved them! I didn’t have these experiences that she has had (except for it taking ages to arrive)

You look so much like the actress Jenna Boyd! On another note, if you use a hair dryer on the tiles that are popping up and then weigh them down with some books for 24 hrs that is supposed to fix the issue.

The bathroom looks fantastic! It stinks that the flooring was such a pain in the butt. How is it holding up now weeks later?

My biggest complaint is that the white shows EVERYTHING. If Finn’s fur wasn’t black it would probably be nbd, but I feel like I’m constantly sweeping in there

They look about the same as they did when I put them down (aka not great because it was a pain in the butt to install 😅) but we don’t have a bathtub in this bathroom so we’ve never had a ton of water or anything on them!

Floor pops should not be installed directly onto tile. A thin-setting mortar needs to be used to even out the surface of the tiles and the grout, leaving a flat surface for the floor pops to stick to.
