Me and my 2 sisters each have iPhone 7’s that we got for Christmas. And our youngest is only 13, the other is only 16 we’re identical twins :D All from Xfinitymobile and the service is great also cheap. We love it! (Our mom mostly for the price hehe)
I will be making the switch to xfinity mobile in a couple days. Hope it goes smoothly! I hate change, lol! My phone is working fine as it is, but of course I got pulled in because of the price deal. So I hope activation is easy and the process is painless!
Thanks for sharing - there aren’t many resources online that review Xfinity Mobile. Have you noticed your battery draining quickly from bouncing back and forth between separate hotspots? Also do you ever notice getting slower speeds because you’re getting 1 bar from a hotspot, vs 4 cell tower bars if your phone ignored the hotspot?
I haven't noticed any unusual battery drain. I have noticed sometimes the hotspot signal is very weak and I have to turn off WiFi to get a better signal. This usually happens when driving.
I joined them in January of this year. Today i switched to Metro PCS. They are fraudsters and hope there will be a class action lawsuit against them for lowering video watching (after buying a high $ phone from them) unless you pay them even more than the so called "Unlimited" 20 gig max. I also will be disconnecting their internet service and going with another company that offers better speed for half the price.
Nice video Im thinking about switching to xfinity. With your phone you should of buy your phone from the actual company because you have some unnecessary apps not just that but carrier put virus into the phone every so many months or years you will keep buying phones from their store and plus why would you pay extra $100 or more for a phone knowing you can get it cheaper from the actual phone company like apple sale the iphones Samsung sales galaxy, notes and more then you have LG go to the actual company and buy your phome
I'm glad to hear you mention not being able to get a signal at work with T-Mobile. I currently have T-Mobile and have the hardest time trying to send a text because my signal is constantly going out in my building unless I am on the ground floor or extremely close to a window. Definitely gonna make the switch to Xfinity Mobile with the Samsung Galaxy S9+. Great review!
My experience is exactly like yours for the most part, I went with the Note 8 instead of the S9+. Coming from T-Mobile the one thing missing is the Family Locator and Monitoring that Tmo has. I did speak with an Xmo rep and he said that he will definitely pass the information on to management about a service that they may want to offer. But other than that Im very much pleased with them so far.
I switched over a yr ago. Got 2 iPhone 8+ 256g Unlimited & $12 per gig for Wife & Pay $138 a month every month for the past yr. I get fast speeds & use over 50g a month on my Unlimited plan & I’ve never been throttled or had Video Quality Dropped. I check & it shows 1080p
So I have Verizon wireless and I thought about switching to Xfinity Mobile. Do they have a family plan? I am paying about $180 for my wife and I which includes a $10 line for my IPad. I would switch if I can save at least $20 per month minimum.
You can have up to 5 lines on an account. I don't think they call them family plans. I think the $12 a month by the gig plan is shared data if you have multiple lines.
Yep don't as they are fraudsters and will send you a bogus email stating how they are lowering video playback unless you pay them even more money. THEY SUCK!
I love Xfinity Mobile. I’ve tried em all & im in a spot where I cannot stream vids without buffering. Many Companies like AT&T, T-Mobile, etc. have towers in visual view of my location but no or very weak signal. I’ve switched to Xfinity last year & my download speeds on the Verizon network is 20+Mps Down. My in home WiFi is 290Mps Down. Of course I have Blast. I pay $142 total a month for 2 IPhone 8+ Unlimited w/ my Wife’s on Pay by Gig & she doesn’t use a Gig a month so hers is $12 + the phone.
Great review. Thanks. Debating switching to Xfinity from att, paying $209 per month for 2 lines and an iPad mini. Read a lot of negative reviews about them so still hesitant.
I switched from Verizon wireless to Xfinity to save money as well. It’s a lot cheaper per line with unlimited data than Version. So far I can say the reliability and area coverage for service is great. They use the Verizon net work actually which is pretty reliable and you can get a signal just about anywhere unless you’re deep in some remote valleys. But here in the northeast US I very very rarely am without a 4G LTE signal. For now, the only complaint I have about xfinity Mobil is that their customer service sucks. I have a very difficult time trying to contact someone in person. You have to go through a number of connections with various departments before you land in the department you need to be. Then nobody seems to be able to answer your questions without putting you on hold so they can go ask some tech dude or manager. And if your trying to contact the store you just bought your very expensive phone from just to ask a question, well forget that! You can’t call their stores directly. The only number they have listed on their web site is a 1-800 or 888 number that connects you to a central office only. They will not even give you a phone number for the store in your area. They claim they don’t have a number listed for that store.
I've had TMobile before was really horrible especially outside home I would struggle finding a signal. Made a switch about 3months best decision ever. I have the unlimited plan don't go pass 10gb a month. Still compared to TMobile I'm saving 30$ and I was able to get the S9 plus.
Informative video! Do you know if Verizon prioritizes your service as a Xfinity Mobile customer? So far, 2 different Verizon representatives have told me yes. They said, essentially your treated as a "pre-paid" customer and lower priority during times of network congestion. I've also seen several unbiased UA-cam videos claiming otherwise. When I call Xfinity Mobile, they don't seem to know much about that. Any network accessibility or poor speed issues you've experienced? Thanks in advance.
Do u know if the plan works if I bring in my own Samsung phone. For example Amazon has an unlock samsung s8plus for $400 while Xfinity store has it for $700 so I rather buy it from Amazon
i just ordered my galaxy s10 plus from xfinity switched from boost cause got tired of dropping calls plus a much needed phone upgrade and cant wait to get my delivery
You use Xfinity mobile, but a different internet provider? Seems like there would be a discount to combine them. In my area Comcast is the fastest (unfortunately). Waiting for google fiber or something out here.
No, you don't need to use their equipment. I use my own modem and router. Depending on the modem you buy, you may be able to get it connected without ever talking to Comcast.
It really depends on where you are. For me, TMobile speeds were faster at home, but Xfinity Mobile speeds were faster where I work. Both were still pretty fast.
I have Verizon I live in dead zones mom calls run to window .... or talking away drop I hear her she cannot hear me Tempted to try affinity but being they use Verizon not sure
I'm just in the process of making the change from T-Mobile to Xfinity Mobile. This video was amazingly helpful, thank you!
Me too

How long did it take for your phone to ship!? I plan to order today

I have had XFINITY mobile for a little bit now the only issue is when the data is out or after the 20gb it is a hard slow down

Great Video on the Xfinity Mobile...do they allow you to hotspot your cell phone
Hey I got tmobile one I paid $75 a month
Did porting your number to Xfinity mobile cancel your Tmobile account automatically? Did you have any problems canceling with Tmobile?
Porting my number did cancel my T-Mobile account automatically. I didn't have any issues cancelling.
@@JeremyHill great! Thank you for letting me know.
You use Xfinity mobile, but a different internet provider? Seems like there would be a discount to combine them. In my area Comcast is the fastest (unfortunately). Waiting for google fiber or something out here.
No, Comcast supplies my internet as well.
Jeremy Hill Gotcha. Do you have to use their modem/routers also? I like saving money (and having better WiFi) by using my own.
No, you don't need to use their equipment. I use my own modem and router. Depending on the modem you buy, you may be able to get it connected without ever talking to Comcast.
wicked video. love it
I am thinking about switching from.tmobile
How the speeds compare to T-Mobile
It really depends on where you are. For me, TMobile speeds were faster at home, but Xfinity Mobile speeds were faster where I work. Both were still pretty fast.
Jeremy Hill thank you so much I think I’ll do the switch
I've had nothing but headache with Xfinity mobile
Are the phones gsm?
I believe they are CDMA since they use Verizon's network.
I have Verizon I live in dead zones mom calls run to window .... or talking away drop I hear her she cannot hear me Tempted to try affinity but being they use Verizon not sure
How long did it take for the phone to arrive after online purchasing?
I pre-ordered my phone on March 6 and it arrived on March 14 .
