My T-Mobile alone for 4 line was $191 with no payment for any phones. That’s crazy. I’m paying for internet and four lines for less then $120. What’s even greater is my phone or internet service does not drop whether I am at home or out anywhere like it did with T-Mobile and I never lose the gps. I’m really happy with it. T mobile was always adding strange fees on top that made no sense.
Unfortunately xfinity is the only high speed internet in my area that is through a cable. I have it for that reason. I also have two mobile phones for $32 a month for 2 years. That's the price for 2 phones. $16 each. We use the wifi for the majority of our data. The internet speed is 400 mps, and we pay $65 a month for that. I really can't complain about the price for everything. I will say that xfinity is a monopoly around here, and their customer service sucks! Thanks for your time and videos.
I made this video for people in your exact situation. There are millions. You’re not alone. I think you are making the best of it. If you had those two lines with Verizon, your bill would be much higher. Thank you for watching even though you seem to have a good setup already!
@@MichaelSaves I really do enjoy your videos. I'm also subscribed to your newsletter. I have gotten my internet service, streaming services and mobile service because of you. Thank you. I have Disney +, UA-camTV, Netflix, and Hulu. It's a wonder how I find time to watch UA-cam videos. I've been considering getting the ad free UA-cam because I hate getting 5 or 10 ads watching a video on UA-cam. I just don't know if it is worth it. I see a new video with new content for the future of your channel. I'm just saying. Thanks again.
@@WhitieInVermont Thank you for the suggestion. I have a few videos on YT Premium, but it's time for an update. The ads are getting worse. (I know because I don't have Premium at the moment!)
@@MichaelSaves I never watched the UA-cam Premium videos because I never considered it in the past. The ads are getting ridiculous now. It isn't personal that I didn't watch the past videos. Now I have a reason to considered getting the UA-cam Premium. They may end up changing it again. I noticed that some channels are doing the ads in the videos instead of doing the 30-90 second ads. Everything is always changing.
Your download speed is 400 Mbps but your upload speeds must only be 10 Mbps or 20 Mbps at best with Xfinity. Upload speeds are just overlooked by a vast majority of customers and deliberately hidden by coax internet providers like Xfinity and Spectrum. Upload speeds are equally important as download speeds to make clear video calls, uploading videos, and a households security system where cameras upload videos to the cloud. Fiber Internet by default is just way superior due to symmetrical download and upload speeds. So my 300 Mbps AT&T Fiber plan also gives me 300 Mbps upload speeds. Backing my computers and phones data to the cloud is just a breeze with 300 Mbps upload speeds. It also provides my home’s security cameras with more than adequate bandwidth to upload videos. If and when Fiber comes to your area, just sign up without thinking twice about it.
Am I the only one realizing that we pay for cable service AND watch commercials? If you want me to watch commercials then my service should be free. If I pay, there should be zero commercials.
Think about it like this, the commercials are subsidizing your monthly bill. If you were to get no commercials, your bill probably would be $1000 a month Xfinity would have to make up that difference somewhere
The mentality in these replies is the reason they are getting away with it. When we first started ordering a home box, it was for commercial feee tv. Somewhere along the line consumers let them double dip and here we are. Paying for free tv. You do realize fcc requires them to broadcast local channels in the service areas and then they turn around and charge the community for it, like its a special thing that their doing for us. Wake up and take charge. If you want change everyone must act together and cut the cord.
I can't really come up with a compelling reason to consider a Xfinity/Comcast/Spectrum type of plan when for the same or often less you can get something like Mint/Visible etc.... Outside of offering something to their installed base I don't see any benefit.
Yes I agree with you for the most part. But for some customers, the combination of the bundle discount and new phone discount is worth it. They have a market. As far as coverage, Xfinity and Spectrum both use Verizon’s network as well as their respective WiFi hotspots. Mint and Visible are great though and you have more flexibility, particularly with a Visible monthly plan.
I have Spectrum Mobile and they gave me a great deal on a new phone. A lot of those other cheap carriers don't offer good phone promotions. I only pay like $7.50 for my phone per month
@Dutch84 Forget the phone deals. Look at coverage maps. The reason you don't want to go with cable for cell service. They only use Verizon towers. US mobile is a 1000 times better because they use all of the big three. You are also not trapped by the cable companies.
I just switched to xfinity mobile for the free google pixel 8s. Got 2 of them. Figured over the next two years it will be worth it. Just hope I can get a decent deal on the internet when my current deal expires.
Find the competitors (michaelsaves.com/internet-plan-comparison-tool/) and see if Xfinity will give you another deal once the current one expires. This doesn't always work, but it is more likely to work when you have competition. At least you're getting the mobile discount now. I'm jealous of your new phones!
My parents switched to them because they wanted to save some money. They use T-Mobile towers in our area. But they are given a lower priority than T-Mobile users. T-Mobile works average at our house, but their Xfinity phones have very poor connection. They complained and Xfinity said they would contact T-Mobile to raise their priority level. It never worked. After many complaints it not got resolved.
Definitely a helpful video! We are hoping to keep Verizon 5g home where we are moving to but Xfinity is essentially one of two options as AT&T fiber is possibly available as well. Do you think the NOW plans are worth trying if Xfinity is the only option since the pricing seems to be stable? The 200mbps plan would work for us possibly.
I can't say for sure, but I plan to try the NOW plans. I am back living in an Xfinity area, so I will be able to test it out pretty soon. I hope you can keep Verizon 5G when you move. That's been my favorite of the 5G services so far.
If you haven't moved yet and are considering Xfinity home internet. I would suggest taking up Xfinity mobile and bring your own phones (you avoid the 24-month lock-in). There are also some promos ending Jun 30th for a by one get one free line (no contract), and another for bringing your own phones ($100 credited over 10 months for each phone) Depending on your location, you can get great bundle deals where you get a discount on your home internet for activating a mobile line (up to -$40 per month if you're lucky) Still learning more about Verizon deals
Im with xfinity and with my low income using the ACP support got low internet with payment plan for their phone. Gov. no longer supports that plan. A couple more months and the phone will be paid off, then I will have to keep a close watch to see if price goes up. Other carriers Ive talked will only give you the similar internet rate if you buy their phone, so it appears a no win situation for people like me. I currently pay $30 a month with 100 speed till that price goes up.

I have a review of them on my website: michaelsaves.com/save-money/xfinity-mobile-review/. Xfinity Mobile is Verizon's network. It should work well for you if Verizon performs well in your area.
I suggest that you should switch over to xfinity mobile because you can just pay 40 dollars for one device and for 2 devices it would just cost you 60 dollars and it is unlimited
