I’ve been wanting to learn a little conversational Japanese, but I’m not sure if I have enough time and it’s difficult without having anyone to practice on 😂 Do you think I’ll be able to survive with English or very basic Japanese phrases?
If it's a weekend I would definitely recommend the karaoke bars, we used to get drunk from the 9% and then go there and spend the night singing with locals, really good

Is there some alternative ways to go home, like Uber, taxi, etc? - it seems like it was obvious to you that if someone miss the last train, he must enjoy the night drinking. How about the other day, don’t you have to go to work early? You didn’t sleep. You went home 5 am. You slept all day long? Despite the funny questions, it was a great video. You are so chill. That’s actually good question Yes you can grab cab even after midnight, but my home is about 1hour away from Shinjuku so if I got cab I would be broke haha So it’s cheaper to spend night in Shinjuku than going home by taxi for me If I have work tomorrow then miss last train, I’ll stay over manga cafe where you can have your own tiny private room, take shower, also you can read manga as much as you want lol
I’m taking a cruise to Yokohama from America next week. These videos have been helpful. How do I get to Ace’s from the train station… you should do a video with a map where you walk from the station, show a place or two you’d recommend for small sushi portion + ramen. It would be the ultimate helpful content. Thank you for making these videos.

This is such a nice thing since in the States most places do end up closing earlier in the night. So the fact that they have places for you to kill time for the trains to be back up and running is just super convienent! I guess I have to ask a really dumb question but something I don't see covered frequently; since all these bars are open, what are the restroom situations like in Shinjuku, because obviously liquid in, liquid out! Any and all answers welcome haha
When I lived in Japan the "Strong Zero" were so good but yes they are very strong and you will more than likely have a hangover if you remember anything lol
I took the train from Shinjuku to Shibuya to go to the HUB on Center-Gai near Shibuya Crossing. While I was there, I also missed the last train. So I just walked back to my hotel in Shinjuku lol.
