- IMPORTANT UPDATE:
I discovered something called the "ghost ship chaos mod" for STEAM. This replicates the chaos version on STEAM. The spawns are identical. Only a few minor differences with the latest version which is:
- No 7 weapon slots
- no enemy counter
- orange weapons are dark yellow
- ALL level 50 weapons are level 51 "bw" weapons.

I enjoy long format videos (especially on interesting topics) so this guide was excellent! It provided all the necessary information and highlighted every detail / strategy, well done! 👍
I won't abandon you but I don't play online as much and haven't gotten too much experience in speed runs yet
I played Raid mode a lot during the PS3 era. Got Trinity on all but one stages (That danm stage 14 on Abyss always managed to elude me). I got good enough to be able to consistently do 7 cases runs on Ghost Ship on Coop, despite my suboptimal build (Never managed to solo it though).
It's been years since I last played this game seriously, and this video series is making me want to go back to it. It really makes me miss the times when the game was more active, amd you could easly get coop games going.
Now is as good of a time as any! I assume you are playstation 4/5 now? Well offer from video still stands. If ur ever interested in speedrunning hit me up

Yeah for sure! Put my heart and soul into it. Im still burned out on it so thats why i havent uploaded the shorter version yet, as i have yet to start on it l0l. Feel free to recommend people to this video with speedrun potential.

I have to thank you for these 3 parts because after 5 yrs, I finally completed GSC for the first time ever and done solo! Honestly I hadn't even tried for 4 yrs since I was demoralized from 1hr20min fails, but your Speedrun tips and enthusiasm inspired me to try again with 40-45min attempts. The only advanced part I had was Gluttony 5, and even with that, I still ran out of bullets at Norman! That's all of the 700 mg, all 280 hg, etc bullets! That's 1300 bullets total! And I have good aiming, not great, but good. I compensated and then ran out of health at Norman. Replaced ammo magnet with Fertilizer then that helped win the dance with Norman. Thanks again, these are really great informative videos.

“Allot of players just want a platinum, then they just disappear.” This happened to me pretty recently on the Xbox version, was playing with a guy pretty regularly, we leveled up to 50 together, beat ghost ship together, and were overall just having a great time, then he asked me one day “hey, can you help me get a few more Trinity medals” I thought nothing of it and helped him, then after I helped him get the thing for getting 150 medals then he said: Ok, I’m done with raid mode, I’m going to get my leftover achievements in the campaign then I’m dropping this game.” And that genuinely pissed me off, because I play on Xbox, so it’s already REALLY difficult to find players already, and it’s ESPECIALLY difficult to find a constant person you can play with, so that just sucks majorly that all he was doing was going for achievements, and basically stopped playing the game after that.
Met another guy but he got pissy during a ghost ship run and hasn’t played with me since.
It just sucks how dead the Xbox version is man, it’s so hard to find people…
It really is, playing on xbox one for about a 10 days now. Its a pain lol. This is also the reason i dont really help low level players anymore and only people who are interested in speedrunning. Im done wasting time on them lol.
@@jessily_1k271Yea, I’ve gotten to that point too, I’m mostly just running 9 weapon boxes on GS chaos now, if someone joins me that’s great, as I enjoy doing coop GS runs. (I actually just did a few awesome runs with one guy earlier for a few hours, and also had a falling out with another guy because he started randomly complaining about how long we were taking to do it, and how he could solo it faster than it was taking us in coop (idk, dude just randomly stated going on a rant.)
About the only thing I’d be willing to help a new player with now is helping them learn the route for 9 weapon boxes, as it’s pretty entertaining to teach someone that.
But that’s about the extent I’ll help them.
I genuinely wish more people played Xbox, as it seems to take hours to get someone to become interested in my LFG post, and it takes even longer for someone to join my game on GS chaos when I’m hosting it.
But, as far as GS chaos 9 weapon boxes goes solo wise, I can do all but the deck by myself, so I end up getting 5 boxes. (I’m actually about to attempt it now though, to see how I do.)
Coop GS chaos is pretty great though, as you can split off some of the tasks to the other player, that’s the thing that gets on my nerves a tad bit is having to do flooded room, and then after casino having to go up and do the pool room, and THEN doing observation deck, it’s SO much more efficient to have the other player doing flooded room while your doing Casino, then having the extra help with Observation deck is always great as well.
But that kind of help is really hard to come by nowadays sadly, as I’ve seen today with people leaving if one thing goes wrong, or complaining because they want Trinity bonuses (which I refuse to help people with, as I’m not experienced enough with Trinity Chaos GS.), complaining because we’re taking too long to complete the 9 weapon boxes, etc……..it’s kinda ridiculous. (And all of those interactions are just from what I’ve experienced today.)
@@Qballiz2kool Well as i also explained in my video doing 7 weapon cases is technically more weapon cases/hour. 9 weapon cases is more laid back. Whoever does casino and pool always arrives 2 minutes late and the one who does flood just waits 2 minutes, its kind of inefficient in my opinion.
Ive seen all sort of players players, some nice, some dickheads lol. Whatever rocks your boat

About the latency between some players from any country it's because Resident evil revelations servers are P2P (Peer 2 Peer) technology which is one player acts as the server and sets up a game locally all others players need to connect to that player and the latency with lag additionally is due to the distance between the Host of the servers and the guest joining him. Some exceptions can happen with NA players having a nice internet might feel like your playing with someone from EU and vice versa.
Hopefully my explanations are clear.

And how much the distance/ connection can have effect on time, when we talk about speedrun?
Well 7'24 is the world record, when i play with those record holders the best i managed to get is 7'48, but usually get between 7'50 to 8'10. This is Belgium x Japan. It all depends on you and your partners connection, so its different for everyone.@@jereristimaki8382

Is it still true that the G36 has a higher chance of not stunning you with grenade launcher? Did a couple of tests and it seems virtually the same as my MP5
I still use my g36 on solo trinities? I do notice a difference there. In normal farming runs its negligible. Hell outside of speedrunning its negligible
@jessily_1k271 I tried using the line markings at the start of GS as a measure and they both staggered me at the same distance. Could maybe be different with male, I'll have to check. Thanks
