Resident Evil Revelations - Ghost Ship Chaos - Pattern A - Basic Farming - 3 Weapon Cases

This is a demonstration on how to farm 3 weapon cases on Ghost Ship Chaos using weapons purchased in the store and custom parts accumulated up to this point in raid mode.
This method is good for players who are new to Ghost Ship Chaos and need a basic starting point in weapon farming; with time and better equipment, you’ll be able to progress further and ultimately pick up more cases.
All weapons used can be purchased, tagged and modified in the store; I did minimal upgrades, however, they can be upgraded even further.
The custom parts used are rewarded in raid mode stages or purchased in the store; I equipped the maximum number of rare finders possible (8) given the set-up / circumstances but they can be supplemented for any other custom parts.
Custom Part locations are the following:
PC356 “Light Weight”
- Rare Finder 3 (purchased in the store)
- Rare Finder 2 (purchased in the store)
- Rare Finder 1 (purchased in the store)
- Cornucopia 3 (Abyss Stages 18 or 19 Trinity Bonus)*
- Ammo Magnet 4 (Abyss Stages 1 to 12 Random Drop)**
- Grenade Launcher (Abyss Stage 15 Trinity Bonus)
PC356
- Rare Finder 3 (purchased in the store)
- Rare Finder 2 (purchased in the store)
- Rare Finder 1 (purchased in the store)
- Cornucopia 3 (Abyss Stages 18 or 19 Trinity Bonus)*
Parker’s Government
- Rare Finder 3 (purchased in the store)
- Rare Finder 2 (purchased in the store)
- Burst 3 (Abyss Stages 13 or 14 Trinity Bonus)
*I used 2x Cornucopia 3 for a good amount of ammo regeneration; I’ve also completed the run using 1x Cornucopia 3, 1x Cornucopia 3 + 1x Cornucopia 1 and 2x Cornucopia 1 but ammo tends to be low.
**Ammo Magnet 4 is not absolutely necessary but worth equipping for potential ammo drop(s).

Absolutely, if you’re able to successfully complete solo or co-op weapon runs, that’s ideal. Unfortunately, some players are missing the necessary parts and weapons to do so; this demonstration is very basic and intended to help players build up an adequate weapon inventory for raid mode stages, Ghost Ship or Ghost Ship Chaos. 👍

Thank you! It’s possible to clear the standard Ghost Ship without any special weapons or custom parts; I’ve done it many times using only weapons purchased in the store and custom parts accumulated in raid mode stages. Ghost Ship Chaos takes things to another level and would be extremely difficult using a similar load out. I would highly recommend getting at least Gluttony 4 + Autoloader 4 (Ghost Ship Illegal Custom Parts) before attempting this; Gluttony 5 is ideal but can only be acquired by completing a standard Ghost Ship Trinity.

Can you only get pink and blue tagged weapons on that ridiculously tough ghost ship chaos

Weapons with various color names (white, yellow, green, blue, red, including rare tags) can be found throughout raid mode; the more important aspect is the color of the icon next to the name. Green box weapons will have positive and negative stats within their respective tag, however, blue box weapons only have positive stats making them ideal / superior. Unfortunately, you can only find blue box variants on the Ghost Ship Chaos; this includes the blue box rare tag weapons which are highly sought after. 👍

Hi. I play on Switch. Does Rarefinder works in GS Vanilla too? Cuz im currently farming there and equipped Rarefinders but im not sure if that works there or only Chaos?

Equipping rare finders will increase your chances of obtaining better / rarer weapons across all stages. Regarding the standard Ghost Ship; there are no BW blue box weapons available, so your best possible drops are going to be green box Lv.50’s (standard, legendary and rare tag).

@@diamondgirls6541 Green box rare tag weapons will definitely have drawbacks such as reduced movement speed and additional recoil; however, they are still quite powerful / usable for the time being. 👍

How many rare finder’s to get best results on rare weapons ?

There isn’t a definitive answer to your question because drops are completely random and luck based; however, you definitely want to use a good amount of rare finders to better your chances. I personally use 9 a majority of the time but have dropped perfect rare tag weapon on 6, 7 and 8 as well. 👍
