Thank you for sharing these videos with us! We are a month away from picking up our own vizsla pup and we love watching the progress that your little boy is making. Definitely prepares us for an eventful journey. :D
I wish I had learned about Vizsla's a long time ago. My Millie is full of fun, excitement, a bit of craziness, a little naughty, and a cuddle monster when she is tired. She will be 13 weeks old on Tuesday and I enjoy watching your videos because I can see what I'm in for and it is good to know she is pretty much like any other Vizsla puppy.
We have had two Vizsla's and one of the things that would happen just before they had a growth spurt was that they would get what we called an accordion butt when they sat down. Our last Vizsla when she was a pup understood now and later; she would often hide treats for later; when she was teething we would give her ice cubes to chew on and one time she put an ice cube away for later and a few hours later she came back looking for the ice cube and it was gone and all that was left was a small puddle of water. When she about a year old we got a German Longhair Pointer who would find all the treats the our Vizsla had left for later; shortly after that Vesta would stop saving treats for later.
Where did you buy him that cute vest! We are getting a vizsla soon and it’s our first time but we know they get cold and we have been looking for some kind of sweater for him, and y’all looks very nice! ❤️ his name is going to be Copper and he’s going to have a 4 month old brother named Bowie and a 9 year old sister named Brandy I hope they can run and play in the yard together!
I am waiting every week for a new update from Lord Connon :-) Can you give some advice for coats for vizla puppies please? Our puppy will come with 16weeks, it will still be cold winter and we are wondering what to buy for the puppy (type of coat and size). Thanks for these entertaining videos, they make our waiting time a lot easier and we are mentally prepared for the sleepiness nights...
Thank you so much for the nice comments. 😊 We started with a coat that did up with Velcro across the chest but it kept coming undone so we now have one that he has to put his legs through and zips up on top. Not sure if your in the UK or not but we got this from Pets at Home. We got him a size medium, it’s a little big but he grows so fast and we wanted it to last at least for a few weeks! Hope that helps! 😊🐾
Only at the moment as it’s been so cold, once it warms up a little he will be fine without the jacket. The other reason he is wearing a jacket is that he keeps trying to roll in fox poop, so it saves him from having to have a bath! 😂😂
@@LordCannonTheVizsla ah yes, the infamous poop :D Be grateful to the God Almighty that he didn not endow Vizslas with a longer coat ;) I'm asking because we're considering having a pointer. Totally in love with GWPs, GSPs and now Vizslas as well. I'm not a hunter though so GSP or GWP might not be a perfect fit but Vizslas seem to be really affectionate and less aloof than GWPs and more prone to get their excercise and mental stimulation in agility, obedience etc. I was, however, a little bit surprised seeing that people dress them in winter and was wondering if they're really not so cold-resistant or is more the owners being a little bit overprotective ;) Thanks for your answer!
@@LordCannonTheVizsla me too :) How long did you guys wait for yours? I'm new to the world of purebreeds and I was shocked to find out that more often than not you have to book a puppy like half a year (or even longer) in advance. I'm still a bit conflicted between whether I should get the wirehaired pointer or Vizsla. Love both, even though they seem to have complete different personalities :) Vizlas, though, seem to be a bit more softer and "beginner user friendly".
@@lordzlomek We were lucky that we found Lord Cannon locally but Vizsla puppies are so expensive at the moment! I didn’t realise how hard it is to raise a Vizsla puppy! I imagine some Vizslas are a bit more chilled but Lord Cannon is like Tigger from Winnie The Pooh. 😂😂
Hi Another few questions What kibble do you feed him? Are you going to stick with kibble or change diet in time? What did you do to train him to recall? Without giving to much away, where do you live. Just wondered which beaches you walk on
Hi, we live in Cornwall, we have lots of beaches here that we go to. We feed him Royal Canin, for now we will stick to kibble. We give him carrots and other veg. I always use chicken for recall and walking as he will do anything for that! I’m sorry I haven’t got round to doing a video about all the things we use, it’s on my list though!!😊🐾
Love your little Vizsla, the sound quality of your videos is very poor. Would really like to understand your narrative, just saying. Not to hurt but to give feedback only.

You are sooo good with him - He's very lucky to have you.
Thank you!! 😊🐾🐾

That’s funny! 😂😊🐾
Im getting a vizsla puppy in a month and this showed me what it might be like! I'm so excited
How exciting! 🐾😊
Best dogs imo, ive had a boy and now my girl Gia. I have a dobie girl also but found that the vizslas were easier to train for off leash city runs.
As your doing updates on your dog I’m going to keep you updated on my sisters when she gets it hope that alright?!
I would love that! 😊🐾🐾
Great job, he's a lucky boy
Thank you! 😊🐾

@@LordCannonTheVizsla thank you!

How exciting!! Hunter is a great name 😊🐾
I warned you about the rolling! :D :D
It’s so bad!!!! 😳🤣🤣
I own a visla of 4 months, just a question, can i still teach him to hunt?
I imagine you can teach them anytime. 😊
@@LordCannonTheVizsla cool
@@LordCannonTheVizsla btw can you do a video where you teach him to fetch, im getting troubles while teaching him😊
@@tradanthony3391 funny that, I’ve just been teaching him that today! He seemed to have forgotten! Will add it in the next video. 😊
I was wondering. are Vizslas so sensitive to low temperatures that you need to put the jacket on?

Great, thanks 😊
Can barely hear your voice clearly, it's better if you wear a personal speaker instead of use the camera's.
