Dude love how you include your family especially your daughter I lost my daughter 15 yrs ago we done everything together love when I see your daughter with you
Cajun coonass here- from South Louisiana! Almost my exact recipe. I made shrimp burgers last Friday! Also, add crabmeat instead of shrimp, then breadcrumbs, bake, and you have stuffed crabs! Love the channel. Y’all are authentic!
Ian I really enjoyed seein you on Gabe's channel a few days ago, y'all need to get together more Those were some awesome shrimp it's makin me want to come to Florida
Just came across your channel, and loved the cast net throwing. I’m 61 and it’s reminds me of my father when I was growing up in south Florida. We alway went out netting for shrimp or mullets all the time before the housing development took over Great video
Welcome aboard! I actually have a mullet video coming out today as soon as it uploads so keep an eye out! I also grew up in South Florida hate what happened down there
Hey There Tug, Crystal,Bee My first time seeing you was at the dock shrimping with cast net last year. I agree this year shrimp was bigger and better then last year. Great video again ! Fun times in the kitchen. I will have to try this dish as well.
@@TugTrashOutdoors, Hi, the only thing you did wrong was not clean your oil, that’s super important. It can actually cause food to look burnt, or even cause it to burn ‘ before it’s done cooking. Retired Cook, just subscribed. 😊
Really enjoy watching all of you wife and I used some of the bone stock in a beef roast was great thanks heading to camp this week takeing some for gravy thank all of you GA
I absolutely love this video as it brings back very good memories from 1989 shrimp season in Sunny South Carolina. (The year Hugo devastated us.) I have never had the recipe you cooked with it but I will before this week is over. You said you love the taste of the Crystal Hot sauce and it does taste very good. If you can stand the heat the very best hot sauce I have EVER had is Scorned Woman and I've been eating those for 70 years. Thanks for your down to earth videos and patient explanation of all the processes you use. Hi to the family as well.
Used to catch shrimp with a hand pulled 40 X8 ft seine net with a 12 ft pocket. In season we cleaned up several buckets a night! 4 people taking turns pulling.
I shared the video before you even asked. Good job buddy, I think i saw you on blue gabe or someone else’s channel that’s pretty well known and I’m glad your doing your thing now. Super awesome and knowledgeable content sir
Tug, a little tip. My dad and I used to use the mud underneath the grass on these islands and mix with the fishmeal. It hold it's shape better. All needed is a shovel and bucket.
Great Dish But That is enough for me where's the lobster, great day for Catching Cleaning And Spoon And fork time I'm Getting my Cast Net out, Ready for Tonight, on The Ashley River Charleston SC, Great Video
Great video Ian & Crystal! Wow, “I’m ready to eat some balls”. Lol. This was an amazing video. You guys are awesome. Love the fam dam Thanks for sharing!!!
I would love to live in Florida I have family in Ormond beach and Daytona. But my wife has a hard time with the heat. I told her she could stay in the house lol.😊
This has been one of the most family-friendly videos you've done so far...and there were some moments of humor too...!!!! As the French might say Boul-ay...but it looks like boulett...
When we throw the net off the dock I bring one of those cheap plastic kiddie pools to shake the net out in. Keeps the dock cleaner and the boards on our dock are spaced a bit more and I have lost shrimp through the cracks
You’re a great man and would like to meet you sometime , I go to Jax often to visit my son at college and need to know where to fish, shrimp or crab. I live near Astor . You do a great job and you still work a real job and that’s amazing to juggle all of that along with family!! Great Job TUG TRASH !!
This is one of the few things I miss when I lived in Florida (Navy years).... Going out and harvesting 5-Star, home cooked meals. We had a Cajun sailor in our squadron, and he was a trip. He would get ticked-off about something and lapse into his Cajun language, and we would all get a kick out of it. Man, could he cook though....
Yes, it’s a sofrito. I make sofrito and keep it in my freezer. Being Puerto Rican it is a staple in our cooking. We make cod fish fritters (bacalaitos Bacalao is cod fish. Oh, never be upset with your dogs. This is real life, I can appreciate that.😊 This was an awesome video, it included the family.❤️ There you go, it’s not for public consumption. Hands are the best kitchen utensil. If you’re cooking for others just use gloves. My mouth is watering just thinking about taking a bite. Yum, I love shrimp. Crystal, your facial expressions are priceless. 😊 Tfs. I really enjoyed it.🤗
