i know its a nylon. but i did finally figure the brand that makes it. they're called La Patrie and they're a french canadian brand which is out of a village where everybody makes guitars. its pretty tight
just because one person does it , doesnt mean no one else can ever do it after. i know i appreciate it, and i dont think they did it to be creative or different. they did it because they wanted to.

I looked up pictures of him on flickr and it's not a Martin. You can tell by the body and the head. had it been a Matin the top would be flat. it's a La Patrie. supposedly he got it in the same area of Montreal where they filmed this.
