I thought the thumbnail said Holy Errors.
actually omen 4 dahlia was born because of damien having anal sex with kate in 3
Let me ask you a hard question real quick
Who acted better the gril in The Exorcist or Jack Nicholson in The Shining?
@@Matt.Savage that's a good choice 👌👍
The reason why the older sister not in the second politer ghost movie Cody is the really life actress that played the older sister died shortly after the original movie was finished. She was murdered by here x he strangled here to death.
Cody always has the best 31on 31, I think he’s really come into his own with going full time on UA-cam. Was hilarious in this too lol.
Cody and cp's videos had me laughing hard. 🎃
Dude, Cody is a joke. Go watch Drumdums channel. An ACTUAL horror channel and not this “what can get the most views” channel over here
Cody is not a fucking joke, and the majority of us do watch drumdums channel quite a bit.
@@williamsummerson1204 He use to not be a joke but now he creates content for “views” and it’s so obvious. Nothing feels organic or inspired anymore
@@tomcucumber9820 you and Matt are smart. I’ve noticed the fakeness of this channel starting to take over too. It’s sad
26:28 Dominique Dunne (the eldest daughter in the original Poltergeist) was horrifically murdered by an ex-boyfriend shortly after ending the abusive relationship in late ‘82.
True
Cody I think you should do a top 10 horror movies from each decade! 70-2010s….the 80s decade would especially be bad ass
I agree
*Well, at least there's no Critters movies in this year's 31 on 31!*
Which I'm sure came as a massive relief to everyone except Bryan.
Facts 🤣
This is the reason why halloween is one of my favorite days of the year, im so hyped
as soon as I heard slipknot I was hyped
So step inside!
Every time I hear it I get pumped ❤️
I just wanna say I love Cody's evolution as a creator. The way he incites comedic elements and self awareness is better than ever, cannot imagine you ever leaving my favourite UA-camrs list man
Thank you
Loved the running joke all the way through, it was hilarious. Loved the “wrong franchise” one 😂. This was way better than last years 31 on 31, and I just can’t wait for next year. Only 364 more days to go.
The exorcist scene from "Scary Movie" was hilarious 😂😂😂
Just a little clarification with The Exorcist: Father Karras wasn’t having a crisis of faith JUST because of the death of his mother; it was also everything surrounding her death (the guilt he felt for not being with her more, guilt for not being able to provide care for her, guilt for not being able to afford a better place for her to go than the facility she ended up in, which was basically a mental ward, etc.). Those feelings of guilt and devastation can turn a person’s world upside down and make you question everything you think you know.
The oldest daughter in Poltergeist was killed by her boyfriend a couple of months after the movie was released. That’s why there’s no other daughter in Poltergeist 2
Yeah I didn't know that until today or I would have mentioned it in a less humorous tone. Thats horrible.
Hands down, greatest intro ever to a franchise ranking 🤘🏻 keep on rocking Cody
The older sister in the poltergeist movie wasn’t in the second movie because the actress who played her (Dominque Dunne) was tragically murdered by her ex boyfriend shortly after the first movie came out. So sad 😞
The insidious loud noises throughout the video was the perfect touch! Hilarious 😂 😂 🤣
Great intro, hilarious in edited scenes and sequences - thanks for the ranking!

Awesome 31 on 31 collab again, I appreciate the work y'all put into these rankings. I had to pause it during the loud noise bit, that had me rollin' dude. 🤣
I really love this channel. Something about your analysis on horror gives me an impression that you have a reverence for the genre.
Great video.
Been watching for years now, and I can easily say this is my favorite video you've done thus far. Keep up the great work, man.
Cody you’ve really went all out on that Intro, that is epic. Amazing editing and I can tell you put a ton of work in what you do. Keep it up man, and of course, I love the honesty in your reviews
The Exorcist definitely would have been my #1 in this ranking. I too was letdown by it upon my first viewing due to its massive reputation, but when I watched it again years later with tempered expectations, it blew me away. The Exorcist is now my favorite horror film behind Friday the 13th Parts 4 and 6.
Look forward to these all year. I know they’re a tremendous amount of work. So, thank you guys for it!
Waited all year for this. So happy. You’re the best Cody!
Thank you, Cody. I look forward to this every year.
Good list, also love the editing and sudden insidious sounds throughout. Happy Halloween!
The Insidious music interrupting you was freaking hilarious. So glad to see Doctor Sleep so high up on the list. That movie was brilliant
Once again another excellent 31 on 31. This is something I look forward to every year. Thanks!
Dude that intro was fire 🔥I'm always watching your content and I'm always entertained with your videos. Keep up the great work Cody 🤘 on!
💥🤯Perfect choice for an intro!!!!!!!🤯💥
Simply perfect
First off, I love the first two Poltergeist films. Watched them since I was a kid. I first watched The Shining when I was twelve, wasn't scared by it. However, watching it later on in life made it my favorite horror film of all time. Doctor Sleep was a great sequel to it. It was really nostalgic when we see the Overlook again, especially some of the original scenes redone perfectly from the shots from the opening of the first movie and Danny walking to the room and seeing that the bathroom door is still the same. I love the hell out of it.
Thanks for kicking ass man. Love these videos and you work hard and make them entertaining
Fantastic list, as well as everyone else on the Autopstream. Good job, Cody. I think you and I have the same vibe for these films than more than Bryan, CP, or Sean, but I really loved their videos too. I know you said that you guys have several of these planned out, but I would like to see a Sci-Fi list with Star Wars, Star Trek, etc. Or perhaps even a Universal classic monsters list. You guys should do more than one of these a year. Well done!
P.S. My top 5: #5. The Conjuring, #4: The Exorcist III, #3: Doctor Sleep, #2: Poltergeist, #1: The Shining.
I’m glad you put the Exorcist III high up, it’s great!
Great video Cody! Since you came up with the concept, I've loved it and can't wait each year despite maybe not seeing all the movies 😁
Top 3 is The Shining, Doctor Sleep and Poltergeist
The jump scare recurring gag was incredible!
Love all the content, keep on smashing it😃!!
I’ve been so stoked for this all month!
I love the beauty of opinions, because your opions and views on The Exorcist and The Poltergeist are literally switched for me. Great video Cody
Still my favourite movie reviewer ever.
I love you man, you helped me get through this year and made me a bigger movie fan so thank you a lot.
Ur rankings just are so good. they just flow so well. u make them to the point and very enjoyable😁😁😁
Great video as always and cool intro as well! Can't wait for the next one!
Sick intro cody!
LOVE 31 on 31
Thank you!!
Hey man! Recent binger here. Ive watched a lot of your videos the past few weeks and i like how your personality really shows in this video. Love it bro. Keep it up! 🔥
Thanks so much. Glad you enjoyed it!
"Come in me!" - Cody Leach 2021 😂😂😂
moment when you were talking about insidious jumpscares are sooo funny
Respect the hard work that goes into this. Great video keep up the content!
Kane in Poltergiest 2 is bone chilling levels creepy 😭😭😭 and how you reviewed Conjuring:Devil Made me do it had me cryinngggg surprised it was 13
Awesome 31 on 31 as always, got 2 ideas that you guys could do with potential to be fun:
31 on 31: Star Wars vs Star Trek (18 Star Wars movies vs 13 Star Trek movies)
31 on 31: Holiday Horrors (franchises like Leprechaun, Krampus, Black Christmas, Silent Night, etc)
That was a hilariously realistic Julian Beck Kane impression. I always thought he looked like old Walton Goggins.
Now I can't unsee that! 😆
Great intro, the devil in i as well as the visuals were amazing. I’m pretty much in agreement with ya list too.
gotta say your intro music ALWAYS kicks ass!!
Sadly, the older daughter from Poltergeist 1 was murdered by her boyfriend in real life after the film premiered.
Awesome video Cody , my favorites out of these 31 films are doctor sleep and The conjuring
"see the Devil in I" was jamming to the intro. sorry im late to your channel!!!
This is the first one I’ve seen out of everyone’s. Already given it a like for that intro alone… damn…
What a cool opening for the video!
Great video man. Loved the ranking!
Watched 31 on 31 all the way through!!!! Time to watch the other 3 editions while I’m at work at my security job lol
Been waiting for this Cody! Great retrospect of the movies. Couldn't agree more re the exorcist 2!!
Love these videos !
Should take the top 6 movies of the last 5 31 on 31s and ad a single viewers choice for a super ranking !!!
Jesus the insidious jump scare sound(s) got me lol
Dude, you have the best intro music. I 100% need a link to whoever does your music and need to download it. Lolol
Loved the Slipknot intro. Kick ass Cody stay metal🤘🏻
The oldest daughter from Poltergeist wasn't in the 2nd movie because she was killed after the filming wrapped by a crazy ex boyfriendSo her character was written and went away to college. It was such a terrible thing. Great list❤️
Great video Cody. Awesome ranking. I hate most of the films on this 31 on 31. Minus the classics. But enjoy watching you guys talk movies. Keep up the great work.✌ Couldn't find the Easter egg. Just hope Hellraiser is coming soon. Very guilty pleasure franchise.
My mother and I love The Exorcist 3 and Brad Dourif is outstanding! Happy Halloween, Cody, and family!
Watched it the other night! Brad D is very underrated imo.
love your channel bro
Never found the exorcist scary but to me it's just a genuinely well made and good narrative. Like I love watching it unfold.
the actual laugh out loud moments in this video.....thank you, I need tha!
Well done! I've been enjoying many of your review videos, and while I don't agree with everything you say, my opinions with many of the movies you review align with yours. I read Doctor Sleep, and when the movie came out I felt like they had made a movie just for me! I agree that making a movie that satisfied both fans of the book(s) and the Kubrik film, should have been an impossible task, and they NAILED it! Nicely done sir! Keep it up!
Let's F***NG GOO!!!
Bit late coming here from Aus but 31 on 31 baby!!!
Let's get it Cody! Keen
Love how you added yourself into the Shining photo lmao. Great list
Great list. Love to hear your opinion of Jacob's Ladder
54:51 That picture is now even better with that edit Cody lol
Awesome list cody, enjoy your halloween 🎃
the fucking INSIDIOUS JUMPSCARE BIT had me absolutely FUCKING DYING. cody that has been your best bit in the whole history of the channel. great work lmfaoooo
Love the channel Cody!
Will there still be an autopsream debrief for this 31 on 31? I loved this video and all of the individual videos, but I look forward to the debrief with the guys every year as well!
Happy Halloween bro 🙌
You too buddy!
The running joke with Insidious made me laugh so hard I was wheezing by the time I got done laughing

Well that intro was amazing
I watched Blair Witch in theaters and I lived beside a big plot of land full of trees and I couldn’t sleep in my house that night. Something about that scene when the children were laughing and hitting the tent had me shook
I love these 31 on 31’s.
Loved the video alot cody. The intro to the video was awesome. These movies aren't really my cup of tea as far as horror movies go but I do have a top 5.
1. The shining. It's absolutely amazing from beginning to end. Jack Nicholson is a legend.
2. Dr. Sleep. I didn't know what to expect when I first saw this film and it blew my mind. The characters are awesome especially abra, she is a beast.
3. The exorcist. One of the scariest and greatest horror films that I've ever seen. Linda Blair is spectacular in her role.
4. Poltergeist. It's just a wonderful and exciting experience. When caroline says there here. Still gives me goosebumps.
5. The omen. I love this movie from start to finish. Damien is one of the best horror kids ever. How the movie makes you somewhat feel sorry for damien as his father is trying to kill him but then you have to remember that he is the antichrist.
Happy Halloween to you and your family. 🎃
1980s Poltergeist would be my number 1. Scared the life out of me when I was 7 and still has shots that give me shivers now. Awesome.
Great list Cody 👌
That is the best intro I’ve ever seen
As usual, an interesting list with some surprises. Was very curious as to what your #1 would be (if I had to guess, I’d have picked Dr. Sleep, though I wasn’t too far off).
Agree with your bottom two choices (which weren’t hard to predict), but not at all with The Blair Witch Project ranking so low - probably where I differ most with you here.
Pretty much all of these franchises had a strong start but didn’t know where to take the stories afterwards, so the sequels either just tried the same stuff again or went way out into bizarroworld, neither of which worked well. The only exceptions would probably be Exorcist III and Doctor Sleep.
The original Exorcist is terrific, but its fame/infamy has worked against it as so many of its big scares have been spoiled for first-time viewers; it may be getting old enough now that people can see it fresh, which would be nice. Maybe the same thing can happen to The Blair Witch Project, which has also suffered from overexposure.
As for The Blair Witch Project, I’d put it as one of my two favorite found-footage films (the other being [REC]). The camerawork, while it was awfully jiggly, was appropriate for what it was going for, and helped make the situation more believable and therefore creepier. As I said above, this is the film where you and I are in greatest disagreement.
I rate The Conjuring a little higher than The Exorcist, simply because it starts building the tension a little earlier and has a tighter opening act. Not a bad idea to create a franchise here, with the Warrens exploring different phenomena, but so far the other films have been disappointments (even the second movie, which a lot of people love just as much as the first, didn’t do much for me).
Insidious almost plays like a bridge between James Wan’s earliest movies and The Conjuring; I don’t think it’s as good as the latter film, but it has some creepy moments. The big ‘Boo!’ moments are taken to excess, as you said, which is probably the biggest knock against it.
As for The Omen, it got lost a little bit in all the post-Exorcist knockoffs that were coming out at the time, but it still did well enough to spawn all those sequels! I like it fine, but wasn’t crazy about it. Same goes for Poltergeist, where I expected way more given that Tobe Hooper’s name was on it.
Finally we come to The Shining; given its sky-high reputation (though that undoubtedly is partly due to the Kubrick cult, who give sky-high praise to everything the man did) it’s another film that’s hard to see now without unrealistic expectations. I quite like it, but it can be a little overly-mannered and stiff-jointed (as Kubrick’s later movies tended to be). Was a little surprised to see it come in at #1, but not overly so.
Just as I had a hard time guessing which film would top your list, I had a hard time in picking my own #1; I ultimately gave the edge to The Conjuring, but if someone picked The Blair Witch Project, The Exorcist or even The Shining I wouldn’t quarrel too much.
Love the video. Since you were confused, the reason the older daughter wasn’t in Poltergeist 2 was because the actress was murdered after the first one came out.
Love your channel
I HAVEN'T seen the videos yet, but I'm about to watch all 4 of you guys rank these movies. Whoever puts "The Shining" at number 1 is gonna suddenly become my favorite lol.
Update after watching: I AM SO HAPPY!
A man with great taste indeed.
The Devil In I intro completely threw me off🤘🔥
I used to love the Blair Witch Project. I was 16 when it was released and it was scary and a pretty good movie back then, couldn’t wait to watch it with my daughter when she became old enough. Lol I could barely make it through and she was unimpressed. It doesn’t age well at all.
It puts the joe dirt in the hole 🤣 got me
You are hilarious!!! I thought I was the only one who felt that way about the Exorcist and I absolutely regard the Omen, since the first time I saw it ad a standard bearer for this genre and creepy kid sub genre. The score doesn't hurt either.
You’re really putting out banger after banger of videos. Cody Leach? More like GOATy Leach!
The "Wrong franchise, asshole!" got me good. Love the list and the T-shirt you wore is a dope design!
