- Elves are one of the most popular tribal decks in Magic's history. In today's video, I show my favorite deck led by Marwyn, The Nurturer. It is centered around +1/+1 counters and the typical elf synergies. It is by far one of my favorite decks to play, as you can hit some serious mana advantage and send out an army of elves.

I love elf tribal, but I basically have two marwyn decks, one similar to this (elf tribal) and then another with a few less elves, more untap and more ramp which gives me enough ramp to kill everyone else by like turn 8
Mine has maskwood nexus and really heavy creature spawn outside of the elves. You might also consider sylvan anthem for consistent scry and a +1 buff to all green creatures.

Why do you haven't wirewood symbiote and quirion ranger in your deck?
I totally agree with adding these cards. I’m probably going to cut a couple of the “meh” cards from this deck to improve it. Thanks for the feedback!

I have questions regarding to Marwyn and the Staff of Domination, I am slightly confused like if you built her up with so much mana on her and you use attack to the opponent, does that mean that she can't use the skill to use her mana to untap herself?
Apologies for getting back to you so late! The ability is instant speed, so you can use them during combat. On the attack phase in declaring attacks, immediately tap Marwyn to make, let’s say 20 mana, then untap her and then tap her to declare attacks at an opponent, and then respond to the declaration by immediately untapping her with the staff and spending the mana you floated.
Do you have the text file for this deck ? Would like to build this out

I completely agree. I had a few copies of wildest dreams in my personal collection and threw one in this deck for simple recursion and I frankly didn’t even know about this card, but I completely agree with you.
