Son of a hull maker , and been standing at transom of 454’s since could walk listening to the beat . One of my favourite clips . Thank you mike smith 🏆
Was thinking about you again today mate, was remembering all our trips up the river in your dads old green falcon van in the late 70's and early 80's used to love going up to the old yellow bus and riding the bikes around lower Portland, and learning to ski behind the old bullet, the good things in life are never forgotten, R.I.P John, you will never be forgotten mate. @@tanyavalentine3865 Hi Tanya, yes it does, I met you & the kids when the kids were still pretty young & Graham & Marg were living in the flat at the back of the gararge or big shed where you house was, I called in with Garry for a visit when we were doing a job in Sydney, that was when Gary & Liz were still living at Berkley Vale, time fly's ,
@@tanyavalentine3865 Hope you are doing well, I had met you before that a few times as well, I grew up in Busby & went to school with John & Garry from kindergarten at Busby Primary right up to high school at Hoxton park until the crosses moved up to the old farm house at lower Portland, we always kept in touch, I think the only person I haven't seen that much is Daryl, i only seen him a few times after he moved to Canberra, I still talk to Melanie & Liz but haven't seen Terrine since i moved out here to Wellington.
OMG I use to race a 4.2lt displacement called HYPERACTIVE and I remember Johnny Cross so well , I remember that John Bakker offered me a ride in his magnificent machine , I would do it in a heart beat now.rip CRossy
my heart sinks when is see this video, but at the same time, i make me relise what an amazing driver my mate was, crossy was a legend, anything with a steering wheel and a gas pedel he could drive the pants off it! its a shame that he is gone now, but i still watch this video everyday to remind me, that he was, is, always will be, the best driver, not just in australia, but in the world! RACE ON IN PEACE BUDDY! cheers michael johnson addition racing
Wow, talk about raisin some hell. I thought he was done several times. I grew up on the lake in a low 90 mph 19' CarlsonGlastron jet boat and can relate to when it gets hairy. Man, dude was hardcore.
