- The Fortress is my new super defendable 2x2 main base. It has a bunkered core and is online and offline raid ready. This base is perfect for both online and offline raids and is sure to carry you through your next wipe. The base should also work on rust console edition. Even a really dedicated solo/duo/trio could probably build this base.

Great design! What's the point of the disconnectable externals? Not been playing for long and I'm trying to get better at building. Also, could I do something to make it harder/more annoying to offline?
the point is so that you can replace the main tc if it gets broken
raiders cant seal once main tcs broken, as external tc priv overlaps. only issue is you cant replace main tc, so you diconnect the externals thus shortening tc range, allowing u to replace main tc. how u do it before would be to break every tc manually

Nice base and peaks but is there more loot space for loot aside from the bunkers? Maybe I'm crazy but it seems like there's not much loot space in main base?
the core has room for tons of storage and the roam room has lots of space along with the second floor
Question, At 0:46 when u disconnected the thing with the ramp, what does that do? (Sorry I’m new, I’m still learning)
it makes it so the external tcs don't overlap with the main base so if your main tc is broken during a raid you can replace it without having to break your externals

yes garage doors and for windows put either vertical or horizontal embrasures

When I break the square foundation below the bunker wall. To replace the foundation with a triangle one, the wall breaks
means its not connected

tried this on console couldn’t build one square next to the bunker worked on one side and not on the other.
yeah it can be tricky on console from what i have heard

Если у вас не открывается бункер после того как вы сверху поставили треугольную крышу или потолок, значит вы поставили его к стенке которая должна открыватся! у меня у самого была эта проблема. просто сначала ставьте треугольную крышу и потолок, а потом уже стенку бункера

At first the bunkers worked from the outside, but after a while they stopped opening
then you placed something you shouldn't have, those bunkers wont just break

@@fakinsit what was wrong for you ? having same issue, pretty much finished all base and bunkers wont open now but they were fine at beginning
@@jamboheimerdonger9068 you apparently placed a roof or wall over the bunker not from the triangular ceiling, but from the same wall that is the bunker

you messed up the freehand bunker then, just redo it and make sure you can place the foundations around it before you upgrade
