That's what annoyed me with kaioken as well, they all could have learnt it and at least had something to boost their strength in a pinch. Sometimes I hate how it's all about the Saiyans :/
Imagine Piccolo in an apron trying to change some bed sheets. I'm sorry as much as I love the idea of him training with Whis I really dont want to watch some of these moments bc itll mess up my perception of Piccolo 😂😂😂
Too bad. He is not even close. Daburah and pre-mystic Gohan were perfect cell level, and it was stated that even in base form the Saiyans were stronger than Piccolo.
Unfortunately no, Vegeta was confident he could win the World Tournament even in base when the Saiyans agreed to fight only in their base forms. It's ridiculous, Piccolo should have made it impossible for them to make that deal.
His fight with the Cell jrs is why I think Vegeta was lying through his teeth when he said he could beat all the others in the 25th tournament without using SS. My man Piccolo was dealing with the Cell Jrs in his base. Vegeta was needing at least a 50x multiplier to contend with them.
Unless vegeta somehow had the wrathful form since he already had mastered great ape decades ago, and that wasn’t thought of, there’s no way piccolo was 50x weaker than goku or vegeta in super saiyan.
@@True2ChainzLilWayne nah in the android saga he was stronger then ssj1 goku after goku mastered ssj1 he surpassed piccolo but piccolo went in the time chamber as well which probably means he closed the gap significantly which explains why his able to contend with cell jrs And considering he was the one who was planned to go majin initially he probably ssj2 goku level in buu saga
I'm The Architect Yeah, if it weren’t for Dabura’s spit I think Piccolo would have eventually come out on top in that fight, why he didn’t just take off his clothes where he was spit on I’ll never understand or even just blast a hole in that part of his body.
My man piccolo DESERVES a transformation he's been training since he came into db he's smart in combat & still helps goku with advice in combat like tbh its b.s how they re doing piccolo like this .
It seems like having Merus to train with, Elder Kai to unlock his potential, Goku to train with, possibly Whis to care about somebody other than Goku or Vegeta (which seems to be a longshot) could ALL make a way for Piccolo to level up. Same can easily be said about Gohan (especially), Tien, and others. A lot of potential gets wasted with the choices the writers make.
@SSJ BeCrispTho nigga what you said is lame asf. Because he is a background character. He should be as fucking weak as a goku who fought fat buu. Gtfoh and y’all wonder why this series messed up now and goku relies on asspulls 24/7. Man I agree with the initial comment he should be as powerful as ssjg. It’s the most respect they could give this character again. Like are you serious piccolo the character who saved gokus ass when Z first came on who saved gohan, vegeta, and krillens ass during the namek saga should be weak? Like are we not going to at least mention how super buu took out his time to absorb him with gotenks. To close the power gap between him and mystic gohan. Boy yall funny.
Yes, he doesn’t have to do anything (no family, responsibilities) so he just trains. If Goku or Vegeta had that much time on their hands, Beerus would quake in his boots.
@@aa-pw7cw that is all actually true but goku never spent as much time with his kids like vegeta has with trunks even if it was training goku was dead for 7 years I know it's not exactly the same thing but yeah piccolo is very lucky to be a bachelor
I think resurrection f kinda ruined it one of the minions the one that didn't die was said to be the same strength as zarbon or dodoria or however you spell it at their strongest point and piccolo was an even match which means he must have dropped to a lower power level than he was on namek.
It's nice that now Frieza is in the game again. (something other than a saiyan) but it's a shame that characters like Piccolo, Tien and even Gohan are just fodder actors. Though it was epic when Frieza and Gohan teamed up.
I was watching Super on hulu. And I'm pissed that they talk about him not being able to take on Frost. He could've stomped him easily if it weren't for plot purposes.
Me : Hey piccolo ! Piccolo : ...? Me : Are you familiar with the "Warf effect" ? Warf effect = it's when a character is really strong, but always loses battle to show how strong the main character is.
I remember when people used to say him, 19, and 20 were way weaker than Frieza just to justify how Piccolo can compete. He's one character that is constantly downplayed. It never fails. Even nowadays.
@@veryangryboi4128 I don't think he's that weak, because he knew how strong Trunks was and he knew he's have to be at least that powerful to compete with the Androids that Trunks mentioned, which Piccolo knew Trunks couldn't defeat. He'd have to be at least as strong as that version of Trunks to think that he'd stand a chance. He was absolutely confident that he could fight at that level.
@@veryangryboi4128 Piccolo did as good if not slighly better than Trunks against 17 in their first battle and was compared to a Super Saiyan by Krillin. Also 19 did better against Sick SSJ Goku (who was stated to be stronger than Yadrat SSJ Goku) than 50% Frieza did against Namek SSJ Goku. And 20 was stated to be stronger than 19 (his speed even impressed Vegeta). 19,20 and Piccolo could all wipe the floor with 100% Frieza at that point.
Another factor of Piccolo's increase in power between his fight with Frieza and when Androids 19 and 20 show up (as brought up by Totally Not Mark) is by assimilating Nail, he also most likely was slowly unleashing his hidden potential as he trained. Because Nail was of the warrior clan of Namekians, but his power level was way over 10 times that of the average Namekian warriors we see fighting Frieza's grunts. And that's most likely due to the fact Guru unlocked his hidden potential. So, when he was assimilated by Piccolo to fight Frieza, what Guru had done to him probably transferred over to Piccolo and that helped him get major increases in strength over time.
It'd be good for the show if Goku was pushed to the background and other characters could shine in struggles that aren't world/universe breaking. Even giving a decent amount of time to develop Goku's family relationships would be better than the "train > big event > get hurt > come back stronger than before to victory > train" rut the story is in.
Now I'm starting to think that the "Buu Saga" just threw power scaling out the window cause it made me feel like Piccolo was a lot weaker than what you guys said in this video.
@TrueSinister However, before he was turned into stone both Babidi and Dabura didn't even acknowledge Piccolo's power on like how acknowledge the power of Goku, Vegeta and Gohan despite the fact that they didn't know just how much power they really had, on top of that they were only acknowledging the power that the saiyans were emitting from their base forms.
@TrueSinister but I wasn't talking about the Supreme Kai/Kaioshin's judgment, I was talking about Babidi and Dabura's judgment. Keep in mind that everyone there had their ki suppressed and Babidi and Dabura only acknowledged Goku, Vegeta and Gohan despite not knowing how strong they really were.
@TrueSinister Piccolo stood no chance in hell vs Dabura. Dabura was stated twice in the Manga to be stronger than Cell, and a Cell JR roflstomped piccolo. Now, we have no idea if Goku was referring to Super Perfect Cell, or perfect cell, but it does not matter. Perfect Cell Roflstomped Gohan, who was stated to be stronger than Goku, and both were stated to be stronger than the Gohan seen Fighting Dabura. Unless Piccolo got to SSJ2 Level within the 7 year time skip, Dabura would have killed piccolo in a 1 on 1 fight with zero difficulty.
This is why he needs a transformation to make him at least the 3rd strongest not Gohan or whoever. He's the only one who has been constantly training ever since he was introduced in Dragon ball, other then goku and vegeta.
@T Mitch oh I agree with you but Piccolo deserves it more. It's probably gonna be Gohan mainly cause he's Goku son and ppl like him cause they holding onto his cell saga glory.
I really wished at one point they somehow gave a human a mystical powerboost to at least be relevant. A new character battling Mr Satan who gets blasted into mountains by buu who lands in a mystical cavern inside with the planets own warrior spirit of force that infuses the guy (or girl) and send remnants out to the planets warriors giving them some shadow of a hope that training ruggedly could re balance the power gap a bit. That or revive radditz..... Always wanted that to happwn
Piccolo should've trained with someone during his ROSAT visit. I can see Tien being a good sparring partner and being able to handle the time. Or Trunks because Vegeta refused to train directly with him. Had Vegeta really trained with Trunks he could have surpassed Goku because Gohan's full power was unpredictable at that point. He couldn't tap into it at will.
It would have been great if he trained with Tien in the ROSAT, and maybe Tien could tap into some of that power the allowed him to hold Cell back. And Piccolo would have been even stronger...
I think that tien said that it was too much for him. He could handle the gravity obviously but it can take a toll on you mentally as shown with trunks when he first stepped in.
@@fizzyfuzz5878 trunks would have learned to control his power much better with piccolo. Piccolo also would have warned trunks about bulking up (if he would have even tried to since he wouldn't have seen vegeta doing it). Piccolo turned giant in the fight against goku but goku beat him in speed so piccolo has had that experience before.
@@Luke973T Trueee. Yeah really Vegeta needed Trunks the most in his second ROSAT visit. Because after seeing Goku and Gohan come out as super saiyan grade 4/full power super saiyan he realized he went about it wrong. I wish they explained Piccolo's reasoning for going in alone, and why he only went in once.
I haven't watched the video, but I always figured that Piccolo's growth in this time frame was due to his race changing once he fused with Nail, he literally became a Warrior Clan Member and all of the perks that come with it. It never was outright stated, but I figure Piccolo's growth rate got boosted drastically. It's the difference from a low level Dragon Clan member to the literal strongest and most talented Warrior Clan member the Namekian race had to offer.
I wish Piccolo and Tien would train together. I know the power difference is big, but DB has taught us that even training with someone weaker than you can still lead to massive power boosts. Tien and Piccolo are the only other characters besides Goku, Vegeta and 17 that seem to keep up with training.
He’s more powerful than Mecha Frieza after the three years of training (beginning of Cell Saga). Probably just barely below SSJ Trunks in power, and well under SSJ Goku and Vegeta at the time. Still, that’s an enormous power increase!
I'm guessing by the end of the Cell games, he's not far behind Trunks and Vegeta. It's always hard to tell with him because Toriyama leaves it so vague...
@@afroman5160 Using the 1 through 10 scale for both the manga and anime... Piccolo - 9 Super Saiyan Future Trunks - 9.5 Super Saiyan Vegeta - 10 This is my opinion, of course.
@Andrew Ace It isn't vague at all. Piccolo is able to fight a Cell Jr. on equal footing. Not to mention, Piccolo takes no damage... at all. Neither does Future Trunks. Vegeta takes a hit, but is more annoyed than anything else. Goku, Krillin, Tien-Shinhan, and Yamcha are all laid out. There are panels dedicated to the four of them being unable to fight back. If you use the anime as reference, Piccolo was basically playing defense and directing traffic. Whereas, Future Trunks and Vegeta were focusing on just one Cell Jr. each. That in itself speaks volumes. Piccolo does get floored eventually, but so do Future Trunks and Vegeta. They all get back up, though.
i remember listening to these videos in 2015, watching dball from the whatever the internet growsrer offered, whatever I could find on youtube, knowing the legendary status dball z had in 2000 on cable. tonight is when i sub. this man who runs this channel knows power scalling take it from me.
I'd say Piccolo's strength comes in two ways, there's his regular training and meditation which mostly helps him to better control his power and refine his technique and then there's sparing/merging which is what mostly gives him raw power boosts. Remember his whole "atom" visual fighting Frieza? That was him still trying to better control the power he got from Neil, until he started sparring again he was mostly just learning to use it better. In the Cell saga he got the big boost from merging with Kami, his solo time in the time chamber was spent refining his control over it. In the Buu saga he fell behind mainly because he'd hardly sparred in the time since Cell which meant he drastically slowed down his gaining of new strength, after a year in the HTC there wasn't much more room to improve his control and precision.
Piccolo couldn't keep up with the Saiyan's ultimate power of the unbeatable 1,000 year old technique known as "Plot Armor" where they take a 5 minute nap and instantly become as strong as whoever they last fought.
Great video guys. Honestly never thought about how strong piccolo got before he fused with Kami and also after he trained in the room of spirit of time. Piccolo was no joke
Cell saga Piccolo is, what, the 5th strongest Z fighter? He's only behind the saiyans. And not that far behind, mind you. Not counting Gohan of course. I definitely wish he'd get more love in the greater DragonBall story.
He bumped up to 4th strongest Z fighter in Buu (not counting fusions) but by that point the gap between him and the third place fighter Vegeta is just to large
Hmmm interesting question with how merging with Kami worked to increase his strength. My guess is it would be something akin to a Shadow Clone technique from Naruto and the multi body technique we see in Z. Basically like... the two bodies training at the same time means that they gain all of the experience and strength that each one individually was able to achieve, but also that each copy of the person divides their power evenly among them. So my guess is that Kami and Piccolo were constantly at half power from the split as well as each one individually training for lengths of time without ever combining back into one. When they merged together, they gained the fruits of each other's training as well as removing any division of power. This not only would result in a multiplication of power, but the training each one did separately would multiply together in itself. Think about it like this: If a person spends all their life training to be an expert in Ki control and another person trains their entire lives to become physically powerful, they could in theory become equally as strong as each other using completely different techniques. Sorta like how Rock Lee and Might Guy were able to achieve incredible strength despite only using physical attacks and nothing more. Combining those strengths together isn't an additive process, however. Somebody with a strong physical body suddenly gaining an overwhelmingly powerful mental power is going to be much stronger than either of those two powers separately. Piccolo isn't going to swap between mind and body strength, he's going to combine both of them into one technique. It's similar in concept to weight lifting I guess? How somebody insanely bulky can still lose to somebody less bulky with a more refined technique because the physical strength and technique combine together to make something stronger than either would be separately.
Dude Hit is thousands of years old and a legendary assassin piccolo is way weaker than hit so piccolo does need god ki since almost everyone is stronger than him except the earthlings
As someone else said you don't need God Ki to be strong Gohan and Frieza were strong enough to contend with Goku and Vegeta in their god forms without any God Ki
@@Moniker8858 Because they have hidden potential and Namekians don’t they only fuse with each other to get stronger so I think god ki would give a Namekian a boost in power
People ask why Kami boosted Piccolo so much. You could say that he doubled his potential when he reunified with Kami. What I find strange is... *POTENTIAL DBS MANGA SPOILERS* ...That Vegeta claimed to be able to seperate Kami and Piccolo with Spirit Fission. I can understand him seperating Nail, because nail isn't an original component of Piccolo, but Kami was. Rather than two beings merging into one, like Goten and Trunks forming Gotenks, Piccolo and Kami were two halves undergoing reunification to become a whole. So can Vegeta's Spirit Fission split apart whole entities? I was under the impression that it was only able to seperate entities that were originally seperate. Fusions, absorptions, maybe even a Genki Dama?
@TrueSinister But the connection with Kami carried over to him, meaning that he shares the same soul as Piccolo Daimao, almost like a reincarnation. Furthermore, several characters like Guru stated that Piccolo and Kami were originally a single entity, directly referring to Piccolo Jr. That indicates that our Piccolo has the exact same connection with Kami that the old Piccolo did. Piccolo, after merging, even states that he has returned to his original self. All evidence indicates that Piccolo Jr shares the same link with Kami that his father did and can be seen as the other half of Kami. And btw, the Nameless Namekian probably had the same face as Piccolo Daimao and Kami. We get to see him before and after they seperate, and the two haves are identical meaning that they likely have the same face they did as a whole.
@@danieldelanoche2015 He didn't absorb him, they merged. And it made him able to go toe to toe with someone who could singlehandedly defeat the entire team. You could argue that he should have gained even more power after training in the ROSAT, but the initial power boost was substantial.
Was Piccolo not stronger than Frieza in the Android saga? They did him so wrong in Dragon Ball Super when he fought against Frost. IMO he should of beaten Frost easily.
@Mr. EA It still doesn't add up, power scaling overall is really bad in DBS. to think Frost would naturally be stronger than namek frieza just because he "fought" in some fake wars that he set up makes no sense, they would be nothing but child's play for him. And did you forget, that he explicitly said that he had only transformed once into his final form before goku challenged him. I don't think he should be stronger than namek Frieza and if he is it shouldn't of been by very much in my opinion. Piccolo is just badly written as a weakling in DBS.
Should have beaten frost easily? THEN YES, but remember the only reason piccolo lost to frost was because frost used dirty tricks like hiding poison needles into his body.
Piccolo is one of my fav characters wish they made him have some sort of boost make him one of the strongest he already one the smartest. Well under rated
I think they'd get the meanest gains in the series. Depending on how serious they take it, easily becoming the strongest in the series behind Goku and Vegeta.
@Kenny Mac Ehh with ui and all the things goku and vegeta went through in super I think it would take years and years to surpass them even with there potential and whis.
Me and my friends when we were kids always went by the CCG. Primitive, I don't think it's canon, but it works. The CCG Nail at full strength was 140,000. Piccolo during the Raditz fight they had at 3200. The next available Piccolo card was from the Frieza-Trunks era and his max power was 650,000.
I like Piccolo, and i agree with basically everything you say until we get to the time chamber. I think that's where things get a little grey. After Piccolo fused with Kami, he was stronger than a Super Saiyan but not by a crazy amount. Vegeta was still able to inflict damage on 18, and Piccolo was equal to 17, who is roughly the same power as 18. So even though Piccolo was stronger than a SS, in the grand scheme of DBZ, it was only a small amount. Vegeta then comes out of the HBTC and has achieved grade 2 SS (Super Vegeta) and is far stronger than Semi-Perfect Cell. Now Piccolo doesn't get Zenkai boosts like Vegeta, and he doesn't get the same power increase after fighting/training like Saiyans do, but for the sake of simplicity lets say Piccolo (Post HBTC) is about the same strength as "Super Vegeta" Which tbh is a little bit of a stretch, but it could be right. I don't think Piccolo went into the chamber twice, or i definitely can't find any evidence he did. So by the end of the Cell saga Piccolo is around 'Super Vegeta' in power, give or take a tiny amount. He's definitely not competing with grade 3 SS Trunks, or Vegeta post 2-year time chamber. When the Z fighters are fighting the Cell Jr's, Perfect Cell remarks that only Vegeta & Trunks can hold their own against the Jr's, he doesn't mention Piccolo. Though in the Anime Piccolo was doing just as good job, i would say he was utilizing more teamwork with the human Z fighters to fight the Jr's (Telling Yamcha to duck so he could land a shot in, or punching Krillin's Jr in the back to help out) Whilst Trunks & Vegeta were fighting theirs more 1 on 1 head to head, but that's just a theory. And I would say if you wanted to know how strong he was in the Buu saga (After 7 years of peace) Keep in mind these are 7 years of peace, Gohan actually grew weaker in this time because there was no need to train. But lets assume Piccolo kept up with his training, even though he would not have been training as intensely like he was in the HBTC and he would've been taking it a lot easier. So at the end of the Cell games Piccolo is roughly even in strength as 'Super Vegeta' - After 1-2 years of training (In peace time) he was probably around the same strength as Vegeta was in the Cell Games (Vegeta post 2 years in HBTC) - After another 1-2 years of training he was probably as strong as Goku & Gohan were in the mastered SS forms. -After another 1-2 years training he was probably as strong as Perfect Cell. (That's roughly 6 years of training in peace) - Throw in one extra year of training to put Piccolo somewhere between Perfect Cell and Super Perfect Cell. So that's how strong I'd say Piccolo was in the Buu Saga, somewhere around Perfect Cell level, maybe a little stronger, maybe a little weaker i don't know. And just to put a little more facts down. Vegeta did nothing but train in those 7 years (intensely) And he told Gohan he was confident he'd closed the gap between their power levels. So Vegeta, after doing nothing but train for 7 years, was roughly somewhere around SS2 Kid Gohan level, probably slightly weaker. So I highly doubt Piccolo was stronger than Vegeta, or even close, and Vegeta was, at MAX, as strong as SS2 Kid Gohan. So there's no way Piccolo was stronger than SS2 Gohan in the Buu Saga.
First 18 easily defeated Vegeta And 18 is not level 17 17 stronger While Piccolo is not the same as level 17, but rather a little stronger according to what level 16 says Vegeta would not have competed with Super Saiyan 2 Kid Gohan without turning into Super Saiyan 2, but I believe that Piccolo is stronger than Super Saiyan 1 Vegeta. Well, he entered the Spirit and Time Chamber and shocked Trunks with his power level, so much so that he was on par with Junior Cell, so his level was close to Vegeta and Trunks.
Well... if Nail was about 60,000, trainined in The Way, which is some form of advanced training, then Piccolo's power has to be between 300,000 and 450,000. His Nail fusion may have given him more than double his base.
in theory, Piccolo before fusing with Kami was Super saiyan level powerful and after he fused, he was easily Android 17 and imperfect Cell level both of whom can utterly stomp Super Saiyan Vegeta. Now if 18 (who beat Vegeta with is) is roughly twice as strong as SSJ Vegeta and 17 and Imperfect cell are stronger than her, is Piccolo fused with Kami roughly SSJ2 Vegeta level (if he went SSJ2 against 18) or stronger?
No? Vegeta actually stood a bit of a chance against 18 before the ROSAT visit. 17 destroyed piccolo in a single hit, and even if you make the argument that 17 is stronger than 18, 17 isnt THAT much stronger.
@@aa-pw7cw I agree there, 17 is only a bit stronger than 18, but the 17 vs piccolo fight I referred to is after he fused with Kami where they were quite even. true he got 1 shotted before the fusion.
Maybe you might have answer this before in a pervious video, but I'm a new sub and I was wondering, if you remember after defeating Radditz, Vageta and Napa say over the mic they will be there in a year, But when doc Brief just take the engine out of ship to put in his ship, Goku gets to Namek in 6 days. Why did it take a year to get to earth when the ships they fly are incredibly fast? Just seems they were either very very very far away or a flaw in the show. Because Goku does use another ship to get back to earth and he was gone a year but we also know he was training during that time so the ship had to be fast to allow him to train and learn new moves and still get back right around the same time. Any Ideas or if you plan to make a video lmk
I think I forgot that since Piccolo died, Piccolo and Kami had to refuse so most doubling or more of his strength at the time, probably even stronger when they fuse later on to fight cell and Android 17
Finally a video that pays Daimao the respect he deserves. For the reasons mentioned in this video, above all, Piccolo needs to be made relevant again. He is a top tier fighter, second to none - not even Goku or Vegeta. He doesn't need more fusions, he doesn't need a colorful and tingly "transformation" like the monkey clan... all he needs is a bit more some shine, character development, proper training and a powerful adversary in order to reclaim his honor as the beast that he truly is. c17, Tien and Gohan should come together and form a sparring alliance / partnership.
I sort of assumed piccolo post time chamber slotted in around the semi perfect cell level of power - so while nothing to sneeze at not exactly in the starting line up to fight perfect cell. I thought that vs the cell jr he faced he managed to out maneuver it with fighting prowess not go toe to toe with it in a slug fest like vegeta or trunks
I still prefer the Super sonic warriors what if story on the Game Boy Advance. In it Piccolo wishes for King Piccolo to be revived, as he realized that Until he fused with him, he isn’t truly at his Potential as The Nameless Namekien. After he fused with him Piccolo was able to be Super Buu

C'mon Toriyama, write Piccolo some God level power boost. Have him fuse with some long lost Legendary Namekian only rumored about or something similar. Give him a color change to sell merchandise and action figures like they do Goku and Vegeta lol
I'd really like it if piccolo would get training under whis for him to attain god ki again. He fused with kami who probably already had god ki but lost it after fusing with piccolo again
They could use the excuse that he merged with Kami to give him God ki, and Give him a power up, and make it that he trains with gohan in gohans free time to control it, giving him some relevance again, and gohan perfecting his ultimate and maybe unlocking something godly beyond it since the ultimate form is originated from the Kai it would make sense IMO and that could happen even offscreen as always in dragon ball and than show the achievements when the next threat arives, so you would have Gohan as strong as super a sayan blu (in super vegeta still says that Gohan has the biggest potential of them all and ultimate unlocks the current potential, so if he trained and increased his potential he could very well reach does levels IMO) and Piccolo at the least on the Level of a super saiyan God to super saiyan blu, which may not be relative to goku and vegeta but would at the least make them relevant again, they are too cool to be lest over like that imo.
Piccolo has always been up there with the heavy hitters.. It's just the plot &story require him to support the main stars if the manga/anime (manganime)
krillin being as he trained with 18 both in the buu arc and in super, to be honest I wonder how strong the humans would be if they all took 2 days in the time chamber leading up to the cell game switching around their training partners each year. also on this video, what if after using his one year piccolo went back in with trunks both of them training together during their 2nd year what difference this would make.
The only thing we can infer from the conversations around Frieza's arrival is that Piccolo didn't think he was strong enough to fight TWO Frieza's. That's it. He knew exactly how strong Frieza was and, based on the power he felt, could easily assume King Kold was around the same strength as his son. Piccolo could easily have been equal to or better than Frieza ALONE but against two tyrants? No way. That's not confirmation that Piccolo WAS equal to or stronger than Frieza but the possibility is still there.
I've always believed that Kami / Piccolo just happen to be special in that they or "HE" happens to be an EXTREMELY powerful Namakien. Plain and Simple. Gifted with a fighting spirit that is beyond most of their race.
with the recent DBS manga in the Moro saga, there was an instance when all the Namekian warriors fused together, are there any means we can compare that one and Piccolo
How powerful was Piccolo at the beginning of the World Tournament arc? Pretty sure he continued training during the 7 yrs, did he hit his genetic limit at the Cell Games? 🤔
I feel like Piccolo was 70 percent of Cell games Vegeta. In the Cell Games. 7 years of training probably Suppressed Perfect Cell level. The one that beat down Vegeta.
I bet piccolo will play an important role in the upcoming film, due to the fact that they've shown his house in the last trailers, plus the character design leaked by Toriyama himself. Hope he won't be smashed by the first villain showing himself 😆
Im not sure if im remembering this correctly but i remember that piccolo didnt spend a full year with the room. Wonder how much stronger he wouldve been if he did
piccolo is the most powerful for me, since the beginning of sayan saga, it has the strongest technique there is,this technique takes time as well as a spirit bomb, and it is ,makankosappo
So... What if the Namekians were the actual creators of kioken? Think about how damaging that technique was to someone's body when they'd use it. Kinda like it's almost incompatible with their physiology. The namekians and kioken almost seemed to be made for one another.
@@kaua7561 and I'm aware of that. Kinda why it was a what if question. As for the rest of what I mentioned earlier, I'm sure you can see how ideal of a mix that kioken would be when crossed with namekian physiology. And who's to say that some incredibly similar technique couldn't have been developed at some point before the cataclysm on planet Namek, in which their entire species was nearly wiped out, along with a good portion of their history along with it. Correct me if I'm wrong on that last part. That said, it is possible that King Kai could have observed ancient namekians performing a technique similar to what Piccolo developed from his special beam cannon (which was actually kinda similar in some ways to kioken) and developed his own much more advanced technique based on some of those observations. But, regardless, whatcha think? I never actually found out how King Kai came up with it in the first place.✌
Piccolo is gonna merge with the namekians on new namek at some point so he can jump back in with the top fighters cause at this point he can’t keep up with top Villians at all (last time was 1st form cell)
At this point. Piccolo deserves to have a genuine God Form or something Primal that will put him back in the game of the Top 5 protagonists.
God yes that would be awesome ....have him gain like a namekian ancient God form or sumthing we need our piccollo back

Going toe to toe against dabura (cell’s level)

Piccolo should get god ki in my opinion.
Saiyans : train every single day : Gods
Piccolo : trains every single day: somehow still weaker than gohan who continues to go years without training

I believe he's weaker than final form frezia before fusing with kami, same with 19 and 20.all of them are either 2nd form or 3rd form level
Too much saiyan focus is what sucks about this show imo.
@Mack N that wasn't always the case though.

@@anthonymendez2545well my friend I'm afraid I cannot permit that.
@TrueSinister just read the "Buu Saga" again and you'll see.

Piccolo has alwayz been a beast he deserves Waaaat mo credit than he gets
He’s more powerful than Mecha Frieza after the three years of training (beginning of Cell Saga). Probably just barely below SSJ Trunks in power, and well under SSJ Goku and Vegeta at the time. Still, that’s an enormous power increase!

Using the 1 through 10 scale for both the manga and anime...
Piccolo - 9
Super Saiyan Future Trunks - 9.5
Super Saiyan Vegeta - 10
This is my opinion, of course.
@Andrew Ace
It isn't vague at all.

Yep, sadly. He deserves so much more glory.
Yea by the end he's 5th. He was the strongest for a point. Then 3rd. Then 5th.
He bumped up to 4th strongest Z fighter in Buu (not counting fusions) but by that point the gap between him and the third place fighter Vegeta is just to large
Piccolo was standing over goku when he gell protecting him from 2 cell jrs.
Look again he's the only character able to fight 2 at once
Piccolo should have God Ki so that he’ll be more relevant
Dude Hit is thousands of years old and a legendary assassin piccolo is way weaker than hit so piccolo does need god ki since almost everyone is stronger than him except the earthlings
As someone else said you don't need God Ki to be strong Gohan and Frieza were strong enough to contend with Goku and Vegeta in their god forms without any God Ki

People ask why Kami boosted Piccolo so much. You could say that he doubled his potential when he reunified with Kami. What I find strange is...
*POTENTIAL DBS MANGA SPOILERS*
...That Vegeta claimed to be able to seperate Kami and Piccolo with Spirit Fission.
Let me be clear. Absorbing Kami DID NOT boost Piccolo much. Not nearly as much as it should have. It's a joke.
I didn’t even get to watch the video and you asked me to subscribe.... this better be super good video lol
What If Bardock Come To Earth With Goku?

@Kenny Mac Ehh with ui and all the things goku and vegeta went through in super I think it would take years and years to surpass them even with there potential and whis.
What if Gotenks went SSB how strong would he be
GREAT video. Yes, the Cell Jrs told the whole story!
Piccolo should have been a lot stronger fused with kami, at least perfect cell level
Well done analysis.
I think piccolo achieved his highest form and power when he got his driving license
So at the end of the Cell games Piccolo is roughly even in strength as 'Super Vegeta'
- After 1-2 years of training (In peace time) he was probably around the same strength as Vegeta was in the Cell Games (Vegeta post 2 years in HBTC)
- After another 1-2 years of training he was probably as strong as Goku & Gohan were in the mastered SS forms.
-After another 1-2 years training he was probably as strong as Perfect Cell. (That's roughly 6 years of training in peace)
- Throw in one extra year of training to put Piccolo somewhere between Perfect Cell and Super Perfect Cell.
First 18 easily defeated Vegeta
And 18 is not level 17
17 stronger
While Piccolo is not the same as level 17, but rather a little stronger according to what level 16 says
Vegeta would not have competed with Super Saiyan 2 Kid Gohan without turning into Super Saiyan 2, but I believe that Piccolo is stronger than Super Saiyan 1 Vegeta.
Well the saiyans were much further away or Dr Brief improved the ship's travel time
I think I forgot that since Piccolo died, Piccolo and Kami had to refuse so most doubling or more of his strength at the time, probably even stronger when they fuse later on to fight cell and Android 17
Bro I was just thinking how badass piccolo is...he really needs a comeback in the series with him gaining a god form
I been subscribed bruvs!
How is this Channel wayyyy more popular?!
good content but it needs subtitles. all the technical stuff is hard to take in.
"....and that saiyan something!" 🤣🤣🤣
I'll see myself out of the chat.
How strong piccolo would if he fused with king piccolo?
Piccolo IS King Piccolo already.
@@adilnorz2893 actually king piccolo spit a egg out and that's how demon piccolo was born
Tien, Piccolo, and 17 should all just train under Goku. They all deserve some love.
17 got more than enough love to be hanging the way he did with Goku and in the ToP.
Piccolo needs to go ask zuno or shenron how to get more power.
16:52 🤦🏿♂️....I completely forgot about this ability...I’m im damn sure Toriyama himself did too. And unless im memory is wrong, can’t Krillin do this too?? I swear I remember him doing it when they fought Napa
It's a technique that tien used back in dragon ball but it was stated the more the user split the weaker the copies/original become
Yes that is true but cell was not fighting at full power only his clones were that's why goku had some but not too much trouble with them
@@Proslayer100 i love when Dragon Ball breaks down the...science behind the techniques used. Theres so many and when they break it down its always intriguing. Especially Instant Transmission and how the user has to merge their ki with their atoms as they break them down instantaneously or something.
@@SageofSorrow ah yes I almost forgot about that one il explain some other te
@Laughingstock Media,
What if 19 & 20 showed up first in the Future AND the Future Z Fighters had confronted them (b4 17 and 18 was awakened) ?
That's an interesting idea.
Piccolo has always been up there with the heavy hitters.. It's just the plot &story require him to support the main stars if the manga/anime (manganime)
Very very good discussion on Piccolo he’s really like the God Father of the Z fighters to me
krillin being as he trained with 18 both in the buu arc and in super, to be honest I wonder how strong the humans would be if they all took 2 days in the time chamber leading up to the cell game switching around their training partners each year. also on this video, what if after using his one year piccolo went back in with trunks both of them training together during their 2nd year what difference this would make.
It's funny to think that excluding the saiyan saga the buu saga is the only ark in z where the villian wasn't defeated by a new super saiyan form
do a video where you compare piccolo's power level to a pair of broken chopsticks with god ki
I've always believed that Kami / Piccolo just happen to be special in that they or "HE" happens to be an EXTREMELY powerful Namakien. Plain and Simple. Gifted with a fighting spirit that is beyond most of their race.
he has my favorite skill, special beam cannon, the attack that let raditz go from meh, to I'm dead..
Huh.
I'm pretty early,
Nice vid.
with the recent DBS manga in the Moro saga, there was an instance when all the Namekian warriors fused together, are there any means we can compare that one and Piccolo
I feel like piccolo should either learn or use the Kioken or at least have a new transformation or maybe make a mini special beam cannon.
Pretty sure he was equal to Perfect Cell at 100% but well he is a Strong Characters
Eu queria ver mais lutas onde o piccolo poderia usar mais do seu arsenal e inteligência
Good video
I bet piccolo will play an important role in the upcoming film, due to the fact that they've shown his house in the last trailers, plus the character design leaked by Toriyama himself. Hope he won't be smashed by the first villain showing himself 😆
If Nails unlockedn potential was unlocked maybe piccalos was to explaining his massive power increase after fusing with nail.
Piccolo would womp everyone’s arse in his “base form”
It was West Kaioshin's invention. It literally has his name in it
@@kaua7561 and I'm aware of that.
If he fused with guru and was trained by supreme kai before the androids showed up, he would be a power house.
