The only thing about this movie that truly disappoints me is the missed opportunity of having one couple have one parent not going on a murder rampage, the kids thinking they are immune, only to find out the they aren’t their biological parent. Would have been either heartbreaking or hysterical. Or both.
So like a dad and a new wife because his last wife left or died and they asked his dad why aren’t you trying to kill me. Boom wife cheated on him and he never knew till now
That's not how parental bonding works, unfortunately. In the case of a "mailman baby", the cuckolded parent has no knowledge that this has occurred, and would bond with the child as if it were their own. You'd more likely get the scenario you describe with step parents, where the relationship hasn't built yet with the stepchild.
I was more curious what would have happened if there was a parent that loathed or even hated their child for whatever reason only to do a complete 180 and try to save the kid they now love from the parent that loved them who's now trying to kill them.
I don’t know anything about cars, couldn’t care less about what a vehicle is made of. But when Roanoke goes in a side mission to detail how vehicles in the movies are either Epic or Trash it always makes my day 😂
I had suspected in the past couple of videos, and I guess you basically confirmed it here with the comment about your 'former father-in-law'. I'm sorry to hear about your separation/divorce. You always seemed to have a high opinion of your wife when you mentioned her in the past, so this must have been a big shock. Hope Christmas wasn't too awful for you this year x
Man I've been trying to figure out what was up for a bit because of the "hints" my man was dropping, was really hoping that this wasn't the case. Poor man
Heartbreak sucks but I've seen it lead to better relationships and much more happiness in the long term. Hope he feels back to himself soon and finds the happiness that's waiting for him out there.
Same here. Being betrayed by someone you love is utterly devastating. I'm about a year in. I got the feeling this is what was going on with him. And yeah, self deletion thoughts are pretty common with that. Just don't do em.
Affairs are so weird. Roanoke is fit and funny and smart and I believe financially stable but his wife fooled around. My husband is a big ugly smelly slob who has more debt then income but even when I was seeing red a few weeks ago because I was just disgustingly mad at him and thinking of spending a week at my moms just to cool off…: cheating never crossed my mind. Flirting or sexting never crossed my mind. Affairs are weird and really have nothing to do with how attractive the victim of the affair is. So anyone who’s ever been cheated knows reading this, remember, the cheater is the liar liar pants on fire. It doesn’t reflect anything about you at all.
The moment you said "Abraham his son", I pictured Nicholas Cage putting his kid on an altar, kneeling before God, and shouting "Take him back! Please!"
This makes me really want to see a "reimagining" of biblical stories in which nicolous cage play almost all of the male leads XD From adam to jesus lmao. This would get canceled so hard!!! even funnier still, playing every male character, it gives me bad budget vibes but id totally be willing to sit through cage doing that. just cuz its him
Feels bad. I'm about his age, and my wife's expecting our 4th. Divorce would be almost unthinkably bad. Poor guy. Everything about the D word is tragic.
@josepetersen7112 you have some idea. I have 4 daughters and a dead son. I left my wife because of every kind of abuse that still continues 3 years after the fact. So, I get the whole "papa Roanoke " but at the same time shut up. He has no children. Don't pretend to understand. I am ex law enforcement and a med student. I know what I'm talking about. Still, my heart goes out to Papa Roanoke. I'm 33, btw. Cheers from Canada
@tiredbird471 and you still felt the need to judge. You're opinion means nothing to me, and I won't be responding. Read what I actually said. Wasn't even talking to you, but you felt the need to seek me out.
The true epidemic is Nick Cage. He sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake, he knows if you've been bad or good and when the bees will eat your face
Only Roanoke can have me hooked on biology and suddenly be like "Fuck modern cars, my impala can wreck your shit. Ok anyway back to how fucked the human body is". and im here for all of it.
I'm sorry man, for what it's worth you're a charismatic and fun person as far as I can tell, don't let yourself get dragged down by depression, you'll find someone again who will make everything feel like it was worth it!
completely off topic but that scene with all the parents at the school, man props to the one police officer that like full blown football tackles the parent off the one kid XD
Been watching this UA-cam channel for awhile, that baby in the opening scene with the train was my baby. My wife was on set in Louisville, his uncle Vin was the casting director and came in to see her with our red-headed baby and asked to use our baby in the opening scene. It's kinda cool that even though it's just a shot of his hair in a carseat that it ended up on one of my favorite UA-cam channels. Been watching your less, uh.. graphic videos with him from time to time because he loves the theoretical science of it.
Lucky! I’d love to have a ginger baby. I have the genes (my aunt is red) but me and my babies all turned out mouse brown 😅 they’re still cute 🥰 but red heads are good luck! 👍🍀
@@mommalion7028"Red heads are good luck." As a redhead, I can confidently say we're not. If anything, we're the exact opposite, especially if you're of Irish decent (as Irish luck doesn't actually mean what you think it means so having red hair makes it worse). Maybe it depends on the type of redhead. If you're like me, a ginger with blue eyes, then maybe you're a sign of goodluck as that's one of, if not the most rarest combination in the world with about 1% of the total population having this combination. I still say maybe because my luck and/or the luck I bring to others basically doesn't exist. That's my interpretation of something possible bs but fun to dive into or believe anyways
I always look forward to your videos. My husband has an extremely short attention span since he had a stroke and this channel and Red Eye Reviews are the only channels he enjoys....seriously.
@RoanokeGaming I'm sorry about your situation. To say that it sucks is probably a major understatement. Just remember that, for what it's worth, we in your UA-cam community are here for you. God be with you.
@@camarofan2008 yeah from the last video I kind of knew it was prob divorce. He said his ex father in law in this one. It happens. we are not a monogomous species.
@evilnick2885 I get where you're going there, but I don't entirely agree. I've been on the side where I was married to a horrible match for me, and am now happily settled with a woman I can go through life with. The difference is night and day.
22:38 I love that clip of the family. The adults, and one kid are like “Oh Wooow! So pretty! The snow!” And the littlest child is looking left, then at the camera, blank, like she forgot what she was supposed to do. Never change toddlers. Grow up- eventually, but never change.
Watching this as I'm feeding my 6 month old and the hospital scene is so awful 😭 Since becoming a parent, my brain is at new levels with all sorts of fun new fears unlocked.
Wait until they're teenagers! The goal is minting an adult you'd look up to. The key is consistency. If you're their friend, you're doing it wrong. They *should* be a bit afraid of you. You have a pimp hand, use it. Love follows respect. Obedience follows love. Parenting a child is like training a Shao-lin monk. You want an adult worth respecting at the end. They'll love you the most when the lessons you teach them bear fruit.
I know right? I had to stop listening to true crime and horror for like three years after my first was born. Every time I fell asleep I thought my baby had died during the night and would wake up crying. (He is four now and a robust healthy boy.)
@@mommalion7028 The thought of SIDS terrifies me! It's funny how they tell new parents to sleep when the baby sleeps but honestly, how?! I'm too anxious to sleep and couldn't help but watch vigil over him for the first 4 months. He's 7 months now and is a healthy boy but I still get nervous.
Love the car tangents too! I think about my brother everytime Roanoke starts another tangent. My brother loves cars and really appreciated the Firebird one for this video.
I remember the day my sister started to train my nephew to be able to sleep by himself and he ended up screaming and crying for 2 hours straight until he essentially passed out from exhaustion. I don't condone hitting kids but I do understand why someone would snap.
I always gift new moms noise cancelling earbuds. 😂 you just gotta walk away sometimes. Or sit there watching them over your phone playing an action movie you meant to get to and let the explosions drown out your incessantly crying baby.
@@elishaschoonover8914I think he is getting a divorce. Since I know he said he was married in past videos. Then in this one the “former farther-in-law”, “need grey matter to social with the ladies”, and “having kids further than I imagined” bits.
@@elishaschoonover8914 I figured based on his "Its just not working out " speech him and wife got divorced And his speech on "Past trauma effecting relationships down the road" is spot on Its CRUCIAL to seek mental counseling or therapy after any sort of emotional, psychological and mental traumas because what seems normal to someone repressing trauma will cause issues in any relationship Always keep up with all factions of your health
This movie’s concept is disturbing to me. I’m very close to my mom and I just can’t imagine her, the woman who apologizes to spiders, ever hurting anyone
I normally listen to your videos podcast style while I work so I'm only ever half listening but between a previous video about things going bad in your life and this video you said "ex father in law" fully snapped my attention. I hope you are doing alright man. I hope you have a good support system to get you through your currently struggles in life.
Since becoming a father I have never felt more alive, my reaction time has improved, my creativity has gone near insane and I have never had so much clarity in my general thought patterns. There is definitely an entire psychological shift as you are forced to adapt to parenthood.
The line-of-sight component makes me think of a condition that basically makes you think your loved ones have been replaced by doppelgangers. It's an occasional complication of traumatic brain injury, and it leads to first an uncanny valley sort of mistrust which later develops into a deep seated hatred for this person you think has been replaced. But the effects are triggered specifically by seeing that person -- if you talk to them over a phone, or using a walkie talkie, then they're still that person to you. It's only when you lay eyes on them that the delusion kicks in and rustles your jimmies. Which makes the static-induced seizure even interesting. Say you could develop some sort of toxin that basically booby-traps the brain into having this complication from the next traumatic brain injury. Now all you'd need is the brain injury. Depending on the seizure, that would be the perfect catalyst to set off this mass delusion that loved ones are not who they appear to be.
Roanoke I've said it before in a short, I'll say it here again. I am proud to call you a fellow American. You educated yourself to a high degree, you run a successful career, you keep yourself in shape, and you actually love our country. Just remember you have put yourself in a very very good spot to recover from just about anything. This country is lucky to have you.
We all love you Roanoke. I know that my little comment probably doesn't mean much but please just know that bro. From my own personal experiences since I've discovered your channel you've honestly greatly helped to educate me on almost everything that my highschool years failed to do so, and I'm 32. No matter what, you're the ultimate giga chad!!!
Roanoke, whatever troubles you're going through right now... You got this bro. We all thrive after time. Dont forget about this amazing community you've built, we're all here for you buddy!
Honestly it'd probably just wouldn't work on them since the bond doesn't really exist. We never see the parents suddenly loving their enemies or whatever just attacking their children.
@alexanderthedisturbing3809 I read a study that basically said that the bond exists in abusive cases but it is malfunctioning in the worst possible way. Similar to abusive relationships the bond is there sometimes it's just malfunctioning.
@@jedstanaland2897 You're correct! In most cases, there is a malformed bond and the parents genuinely cannot fathom the fact that they are being abusive/neglectful/ect. This is never an excuse, but knowing the possible cause for abusive behavior can help humanity learn how to better prevent and stop it in the future. In personal experience, my parents truly believe they raised me properly and never abused me, they tell others in their life that they "love" me all the time. The problem is that their "love" manifested in horrible abuse, neglect, and an inability to take responsibility for their own actions (among many other things).
Please cover soon either the parasitic infestation of The movie Bite, or the alien radiation of the Color Out of Space! Those are truly fascinating movies and events that need to be delved into
It's crazy this is like a more focused version of the "internet insanity" that is beamed out across the planet in the first "Kingsmen" movie. Rather than unfocused violence on the surroundings you are driven into "uno reverse" love. Not apathy, insane hatred.
I never realized people wouldn't think they're part of their brain. I always think of myself as the personality, and then the other parts the subconscious and the lizard brain. Are like parts myself like a hand.
Honestly, the brain kind of scares me. A lot of the time when I am learning how it functions, it almost seems like there is another "silent partner" inside the skull, directing us like puppets on a string. It is still a part of "us", and usually does its best to secure good outcomes for us, but sometimes it feels like the brain's intention is at odds with the conscious mind. Does anybody else ever feel like that?
@@Ragnorok159yeah that kinda punched me in the gut, I don't know what happened but it can't be anything good. Definitely praying for him and everyone involved with whatever happened

Thank you it was 7 years ago, and i'm better. It wasn't even that bad. All I had to do was stop pushing myself to hard and focus on long term health. It felt like standing up to fast and that feeling didn't go away. Hope your health issues work out too @@thinecuprunnethoverwithblood

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I know you haven't had the best holiday season and neither have I. Just wanted to let you know that your videos really have helped me get through some rough times. Hope things start looking better for you.
This is my 19th time saying this, but I'd love to see you do a video on the Mimics from Edge of Tomorrow. Your take on their alien biology would be fascinating.
The brain is so fascinating. I often wondered why I had such severe PPD (for 2 yrs) with my 2nd child. I have chiari malformation but was unaware at that time. My neurosurgeon believes the pregnancies probably made my chiari & inner cranial hypertension more severe which started causing my seizures & could have possibly made the PPD worse & more prolonged. Even more strange is all the ways I can tell I've changed since my brain surgeries. Most are subtle changes to my personality (used to be extremely outgoing, now i have mild agoraphobia & other things like that) but there's bigger ones too; like I used to be an extremely hyper visual thinker, now I find it harder & harder to visualize my thoughts. I'm donating my brain after I die for studies, but I wish there were some I could join while I'm alive that deal with the personality changes that occur after multiple cranial decompressions & cauterizing of the tonsils of the cerebellum. Ugh, maybe I should have gotten a different degree instead of working towards a history degree. 😂
You genuinely sound like such an insightful and fun human being to be around, and I understand that having such intense interoception skills can be extremely tough, so I hope you're not too rough on yourself about those post-surgical changes and adjustments. I hope you've experienced relief from PPD and things have been going swimmingly since your brain surgery! Also you should definitely look into pursuing neurology as a side study, you absolutely have a knack for it.
My brain did the opposite. For the first time since I was given internet access I started thinking in images and sound instead of text. I also had the only dream I ever had with sound while pregnant. It’s fascinating how wild the brain is.
It would be interesting to know how it would affect a person’s spouse. I know the movie didn’t say anything about it, but wouldn’t the long term relationship with a person’s spouse make them want to kill the spouse as well? Especially with the emotional connections made with each other
Crazy what you said about forgetting that coffee filter. I once emptied a large Lipton tea bag out . Put coffee in it and steeped that bugger. So I know where ya coming from with that coffee requirement. So to speak. 😅
Just as a little tangent to your oil change every 3-5k miles, I used to be a mechanic, and YES! You need to follow the 5/5/5 method. 500 miles=tire rotation 5000 miles=oil change 50,000 miles=tune up and that means with modern cars you flush the transmission fluid and refill, flush the radiator and refill, check the drivetrain for any damage or wear like tie rods or shackles, check all brake linkages, do a brake flush bleed and fill, etc etc etc.....depending on the age of the vehicle and type, every 50k it might be a lot of work or very little. This is regarding solely cars and trucks though, motorcycles are far more complex maintenance cycles.
This reminds me of a British movie called "The Children" where kids started killing people above a certain age and seemed to be caused by some kind of secretion from plants.
“My mind subconsciously connected that the ones who survived were the ones who were built like literal meat tanks-“ Me, looking at Tai, Dom, and Sgt. Kim: Ahhhhhhhhh….
Interesting time for the video, I was literally discussing how I feel growing paternal instincts lately, something even a year ago I could never have seen myself thinking.
Closer to 30 the more likely to you are to want children. If you don't want kids by 35, you probably won't have the desire.or 40 in some cases. From my observations.
Interestingly (and also very unfortunately), children who experienced "parentification" related trauma while growing up have been shown to undergo similar neurological changes as those seen in adults who reproduce. It, of course, has significantly more maladaptive results due to these changes occuring in adolescents, often leading to the development of PTSD, personality disorders, and deeply unhealthy coping mechanisms. Some of the biggest psychological symptoms noticed were a general lack of sense of self, or one's identity being mostly (or entirely) comprised of the opinions of others, and the individual having a higher rate of self-neglect in order to appease others. (For anyone unsure, parentification trauma is a colloquial term used in the psychology community to describe different forms of role-reversal that can happen in a home. It specifically refers to anything involving a child being put in a position where they must act as an adult or tackle not-age-appropriate tasks in order to protect themselves and others)
Ayy merry Christmas Papa Ro! Was just re-watching your Antlers vid to set the mood while rendering a carcass, and this pops up (my big sister just broke the news she and her husband are expecting their first offspring in May! impeccable timing, I’ll be sure to bring whatever wholesome parenting tips I’m sure to pick up here to the baby shower in the big city in a month)
Commenting because of the refresher on the PSAT (and why, now long out of Uni and with one higher degree, I’m *still* mad about it). The PSAT used to (it’s cut back a lot now in funding) be the gauge for getting into the National Merit Scholarship program. I had a friend in my undergrad who, between the National Merit Scholarship, and the scholarship our uni offered that lowered out of state tuition to instate and payed some of that as well, she had a full ride. And trust me, I was happy for her. What I was _mad_ about was because I was homeschooled under an umbrella school-and not one of those “unschoolers” I was at my local Junior/Four year college at 16 and only didn’t start at 15 because I was out of the country for the first week and a half of school-the high school teachers really hated anyone who might remotely seem to be home schooling (even if they did it all online via Florida Virtual, so they were doing distance learning before 2020, back in 2007). So when I got the PSAT they told me I wasn’t allowed (bs) to submit to the National Merit Scholarship because I wasn’t attending a “real school.” Even though the school that tracked my records, and recorded my college/uni credits _was a school_ with a physical location and classes and everything, they just had an arm that was an umbrella school. (One of my fellow seniors was in the umbrella program because his parent(s) were in the army and would be shuffled around a lot across Europe so he stuck with the umbrella program (which had their own curriculum if you wanted to use it) to get a consistent education. But the point is: the PSAT used to give you a _lot_ of money compared to other scholarship test programs. And I got told I basically was lucky that the board of education, _and_ the teachers proctoring the exam, even allowed me to take it. It was so petty. Now the scholarship has been kneecapped, and you’re better off getting good grades, making sure your HS counts any college/uni courses as grade letter above HS grading, (so a B in a uni/college class is an A in the high school equivalent, which is how you get people with over 4.0 averages) and finding a school that had the thing you think you want, that offers good deals to newly graduated students (under sixty credit hours of Uni/college courses-they will count you as a transfer if you go over 60 and then you lose all Freshman scholarships) and go there. Now the PSAT is pretty worthless. Also I don’t live there so I don’t mind dropping the info: anyone from FL with the right GPA, I believe gets 10k a year bonus on top of whatever other scholarships one qualifies for at UNF. I knew a lot of people who basically had 5k each semester of discretionary money. And I wish I’d done it, instead of buying the lie I was sold by my liberal art’s college that I lasted one year at before I couldn’t stand the kids shooting up and snorting things up their nose-but what do you expect from a bunch of Yanks who come down in their corvettes and other expensive cars to give an 18 year old, with a stipend from their doctor/lawyer parents who’d had them in private boarding schools where they basically were the low end of the totem pole because their parents didn’t have _enough_ money or clout to get them into the full Ivy Leagues. And usually the students didn’t have the GPA (I was one of two students there who qualified for their highest scholarship and that barely dented it) to get into Vanderbilt, or Duke. So they got dropped off at Eckerd. /End rant.
This was a good movie for what it was. It was a good mix of craziness and addressing some deep down feelings a lot can relate to. I'm 40 in a relationship with my 13 yo mini adults mother. The spark is absent and there both getting more difficult by the day.. well me and the boy are getting closer too so it's complicated. But yeah good movie.

one time I had a horrible sense of vertigo(changed medicine which is what I think triggered it), so I was watching a video well as moving my head around(to get used too the vertigo, not completely sure why I added the other sensory inputs) and then started laughing at the video and had an epilepsy(I think the jerking movements from the laughter combined with the vertigo started it) moments after it ended I immediately forgot about it and the only reason I remembered was because my face was tingling which made me think "what just happened to make my face tingle" and then I remembered, if my face wasn't tingling or I just ignored it I would have never remembered it
You know I've always heard about the incredible parental instincts of the human species, yet I've never seen it myself. Perhaps if we observed humans outside of captivity we'd see better parenting instincts?

The tickle fingers thing at 6:15 reminds me of what my dad used to do when I was little. Can maternal instinct come into play if you become an Aunt or I mean raise a child you didn’t give birth to? Cuz I helped raise my niece. I watched her be born and when I held her this insane powerful emotion came over me or protectiveness.
It can, if you are 100% related to your siblings, by all accounts your have reproduced and may feel similar feelings, but not the total same as a mother and father
Once again, awesome and enjoyable video, I always learn something from you. Also, best of wishes and prayers for you Roanoke, we all hope life gets easier for you soon.
I believe this film was based of a scfi/horror short story and it was a biological weapon, it affected the brain to such a degree that parents started roaming in packs and seemed to have some sort of ESP connection and they would track their kids for miles until one or the other was killed EDIT: The book was called Blood Crazy, i can't find references of bio weapons in the plot description though
I don’t know if it is hormonally impossible for grandparents to love grandchildren as much as their own. You see, I imagine this is not very common in US but in Brazil there are many many people who have been raised by their grandparents as a result of teenage pregnancies. I have a cousin, that although not a teen he is still very young, he had a son and now the baby is, by all effects being raised by his parents, he is present, he lives with him, but chances are that he may end up being more like the big brother to that child rather than the actual father figure. Still in the same family, my mom, and her brother that is now a grandpa, we’re both raised by my late great grandmother, my mom called her mom, even though she was the grandmother, and until this day she calls my actual grandmother by her first name, rather than mom. So yeah, family relations are not always that straightforward, regardless of hormones.
It is uncommon, but as always depends on the individual. As shown by the fact that fathers are a thing, that bond is acquired, not innate from the happening of birth. Humans are hard-wired to rear young, even if they can't always make them themselves. It's part of the "social" aspect in social species, at least in humans. It's one of the reasons why you will see people run into a burning building to rescue children, even if not their own, but would stand outside if they knew it was adults. Instinct. As you said, loads of grandparent raise their grandchildren. But that's the thing: they raised them. Essentialy making them parents at that point. Same goes for step-parents, adoptive parents, etc.
If you wanna see another funny vid about this movie, I'd highly recommend Elvis the Alien's review of it from a little while ago. His editing and humor are superb, in my opinion.
Fun fact, my name was changed to Nic when my mom saw Nicolas Cage on the back of a VHS and decided that was a better name for her unborn sun rather than Alex.
These are the kind of movies i wish they'd spend more time actually explaining whats happening, as watching it with someone who doesn't make the connection with the subtle hints is left asking "So was that it?" " What made them act like that? That was pretty stupid."

That's not how parental bonding works, unfortunately. In the case of a "mailman baby", the cuckolded parent has no knowledge that this has occurred, and would bond with the child as if it were their own. I don’t know anything about cars, couldn’t care less about what a vehicle is made of. But when Roanoke goes in a side mission to detail how vehicles in the movies are either Epic or Trash it always makes my day 😂
I can recommend Top Gear (the BBC version) and The Grand Tour if you want more of that feeling!

Right?!? Roanoke is a giga chad her loss! The really painful part, that he mentioned in the last video off handedly, is that he was cheated on.
Maybe it depends on the type of redhead. "Did I leave the oven on?"

I thought about something scary and because it corrupted the parenting instincts it might have the opposite effect on the extremely abusive parents.

Yeah but you're a grown-almost-old 31 year old man. Soon to be 32 eh!

/End rant.

It’s full of microbiology and the moral dilemma scientists are faced when seeking to further their goals at the possible cost of causing harm. It’s one of the best Godzilla movies and an awesome sci-fi film in general. Thanks man.
one time I had a horrible sense of vertigo(changed medicine which is what I think triggered it), so I was watching a video well as moving my head around(to get used too the vertigo, not completely sure why I added the other sensory inputs) and then started laughing at the video and had an epilepsy(I think the jerking movements from the laughter combined with the vertigo started it) moments after it ended I immediately forgot about it and the only reason I remembered was because my face was tingling which made me think "what just happened to make my face tingle" and then I remembered, if my face wasn't tingling or I just ignored it I would have never remembered it
You know I've always heard about the incredible parental instincts of the human species, yet I've never seen it myself. Perhaps if we observed humans outside of captivity we'd see better parenting instincts?
Awesome video dude! I hope the next one is for the tardigrade monster from harbinger down!
I love it when he says you are now breathing manually now. It don't work on me, but I love it because it effects my misses lol
Nick Cage is undeniably the best actor in any movies, you just know you’re gonna have a good time when he’s around.😺
I honestly didn’t know that about engine oil, as a guy that wants to get into vehicles, and keep mine for 10+ years if possible, thank you for the advice!
Listening to Roanoke mispronounce "progeny" so many times I'm pretty sure he's just trolling for engagement, and dammit it worked.
The tickle fingers thing at 6:15 reminds me of what my dad used to do when I was little. He'd just stare me down, grin on his face, and get closer doing the tickle motion and I would just start dying. Like almost pass out laughing. Then he would just stand there just shaking his head till I noticed he stopped.
Bro this movie had me ctfu at the part when Nicolas started snapping like “your MF mother said get tf down here” that’s when we knew he was infected I kept rewinding it dying laughing at the one part 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'd like to take a moment to give a shout-out to the cops in this movie. Like, at least they TRIED, which is more than what cops in horror movies normally do.
That's more than the ones in real life do as well lmfao
Can maternal instinct come into play if you become an Aunt or I mean raise a child you didn’t give birth to? Cuz I helped raise my niece. I watched her be born and when I held her this insane powerful emotion came over me or protectiveness.
It can, if you are 100% related to your siblings, by all accounts your have reproduced and may feel similar feelings, but not the total same as a mother and father
One thing that never fails in Roanoke videos; I'm already laughing within the first few seconds
Sorry to hear you're getting divorced. The odds were against you, and I hope you find someone who understands you better.
Once again, awesome and enjoyable video, I always learn something from you. Also, best of wishes and prayers for you Roanoke, we all hope life gets easier for you soon.
These videos make me feel like im learning something and then i dont
You know its going to be a good day when Roanoke goes off on a tangent about classic cars!
I believe this film was based of a scfi/horror short story and it was a biological weapon, it affected the brain to such a degree that parents started roaming in packs and seemed to have some sort of ESP connection and they would track their kids for miles until one or the other was killed
EDIT: The book was called Blood Crazy, i can't find references of bio weapons in the plot description though
The video starts at 3:37 if you want to bypass the 2 min ad
Finally someone has covered this movie, thank you Roanoke.
If you wanna see another funny vid about this movie, I'd highly recommend Elvis the Alien's review of it from a little while ago. His editing and humor are superb, in my opinion.
Know this videos old but I’m almost positive, and found it hilarious, that at 13:47 you mentioned crows then immediately cut to a raven 😂
Im currently developing an angler fish with rabies wish me luck
Fun fact, my name was changed to Nic when my mom saw Nicolas Cage on the back of a VHS and decided that was a better name for her unborn sun rather than Alex.
I'm sorry about your wife, mate.
Okay I saw your title and went to go watch the movie. As soon as I saw the cars I knew I would be in for a treat with your video.
Hey Roanoke mentioned "former" father in law. Sounds like you may be having a hard time. I am sorry my dude hope everything works for you.
It seems like he has been dropping hints for the last few videos. 2023 has been a shit year
So what happened?
@JewishFrog Divorce, more likely, which sucks.
@@rodo9813 That's rough.
These are the kind of movies i wish they'd spend more time actually explaining whats happening, as watching it with someone who doesn't make the connection with the subtle hints is left asking "So was that it?" " What made them act like that? That was pretty stupid."
