I’ve seen alot of other people repeats that same initial Bend in the intro but you have it right man! Have to hit that 8th fret on that intro, I can see how people get a bit thrown off because it does sounds pretty similar especially in real time . Awesome job you’re one of the best out there Mike !

You can play like this guy, that's why he makes these lessons:) a little bit of practice goes a long way man you'd be surprised. Obviously it takes more than a little bit of practice to be at his point but if you really wanna play guitar just start man you can do it I promise.

Mike….I can play the rhythm (2 chords lol) but man….Mark Kendall gots waaayyy too many notes in this intro for me to remember…nothing fast or difficult, I just can’t string all these notes/bends together cohesively.

Ok, just subscribed and really dig this tutorial. I noticed you are using a half stack w/o blowing out windows? I have a Carvin rig (100W/half cab) and can't get a good driven sound unless I crank the hell out of it which I don't have the headroom to do. Are you using a choke/attenuator? I love the sound of this amp, but can't get the killer tone unless I piss off the neighbors...

I have listened to this song since it hit the radio back in the '80's and saw GW twice in the '90's, so maybe a couple hundred times? And always loved the guitar work. Question: Did you break it down in this much detail to learn it as well as teach it?
no I figured it out quick..ive been using my ear and listening to detail professionally for over 20 years
Thanks, that's kinda what I thought. I didn't get a guitar until I was 41 years old so I have to learn it pretty much the way you teach it, in painstaking detail. Maybe when I'm 61 I will have enough experience to get it quick, or not. Singing is way easier.

Dude I know I'm usually very critical of your lessons. But this one is pretty good. However, its not standard tuning. If you try to play to the album it will sound off. Keeping the fingering you show works perfect if you tune down to the weird tuning of between half and a whole step. Try it and see what you think. Otherwise, very good lesson.
+Johnny Flyguy thanks johnny-trust me-im pretty critical on tuning and accuracy with all these lessons-id have to re listen -I suppose its possible but it wouldn't be the first time ive pulled up the SAME song on youtube and had it in 2 different tunings-I think it has to do w the upload speed the uploader uses-it don't happen a lot but ive experienced it.KEEP ROCKIN'
