Thunderstorm July 21, 2016

Chicago IL area storm with lots of thunder. At the start of the video there is a brownout which can be heard causing a refrigerator to shutdown. There are two visible lightning bolts during the video, a very close strike right after 4:04 and another right after 9:26. Headphones are best to hear the thunder.

I wish we had thunderstorms like this in Utah. I grew up n NY and SC, where we had terrific thunderstorms. Doesn't happen here in the desert. Thanks for sharing this 2 years ago so I csn enjoy it now.

Commenting 9/24/18 at 6am EDT.......THIS is the very kind of a gorgeous in-depth severe Tstorm video that any any would-be avid-Tstorm enthrallist would love to see at anytime...love the tons of lightning and good thunder.....and wowww on the wind-driven deluges shown here at night....interestingly enough...7/22/16, the next day..I had lotsa spectacular distant lightning here at my place too...on UA-cam..... and also..Chicago was mauled by huge Tstorms back on 8/4/08..now over 10 years ago....I have seen the such same Tstorm-videos from then...simply breathtaking.
