The ulanzi fan is a piece of shit regardless idk why so many people vouch for it. The heat expansion of the plastic on any camera will cause the suction cups to fall off it’s just science lol. The trust old $10 usb fan is always the answer sadly. Also if you dont turn the camera on until its sitting in the sun it usually last a little longer cause these things are programmed to be stupid with change of temp rather than actual overheating. Good stuff man i also am down with cameras and skating 😎 cheers

No, it's one of the few cameras without a crop in 4k60. Still, for video Lumix s5m2x is better choice. It does crop 4k in 60p, but I think it does 4k uncropped in 48p. It also has significantly higher bitrate.
Hi , love the hack and the effort you put into this video ! Do you think this will work with Sony A6700 coz it has a severe heating problem . I want to stream outdoors and its always really sunny and temps are above 90F generally during the day , I am about to buy either Canon R8 or the Sony A6700 but overheating is a major concern for me because my streams will last for atleast 2-3 hours . Im in favor of A6700 because of its IBIS. kindly help me out! Can you please make a video or atleast test this fan for A6700 if it copes up with overheating at 4k 24 ,4k60 and 4k 120! Would be a really great help! Thanks!
Did you keep the R8 ? If yes, did you solve the heating issue? I see there is a new version of Ulanzi without the suction cups. Perhaps it would work better. Also there is a 'KOERTACOO' fan with a similar price which seems to be working really good for the R5, but I'm not sure if would work with the R8. I don't know if cooling the back is enough or it has to be cooled at the front.
