Thankfully there's a mod out there that reintroduces many of those lines to Arthur's verbal arsenal. Personally, I don't even know why they'd cut them, they fit perfectly into heated combat moments and don't feel intrusive at all.
just idiotic removing so many random voicelines from the game in general, not just for combat, but for skinning, looting, etc. that was one of the coolest things in rdr1

It makes him much better too bad it got scrapped the reason john was so badass in rdr1 is his sarcastiscs remarks while interacting with the world, but also angrily screaming in combat

I was talking about the cut Shootout dialogue in RDR2 it’s in the title and my time stamp is my example. My original comment even clearly says “Marston was intimidating but his combat dialogue was more so mocking than pure rage” so I was talking about the first game, the one where he’d shout “you couldn’t shoot a fart out of your own ass” while killing a group of 20+ outlaws.

They turned his hair into Arthur’s, his beard into Arthur’s, his body shape into Arthur’s. My bad if that seems aggressive but damn I’m comparing cut dialogue a “new” Rockstar character never officially got, to the dialogue they actually went through with implementing in previous games.
Cool video! I really wish some of these were in the game! However I want to point out that the dialogue at 4:44 “waste of my time” and 4:47 “who’s talking now?” aren’t cut, I’ve triggered both many many times at moments I knocked someone down during a melee fight (don’t remember ever triggering any of those 2 during a gun fight though).
@@turtle1579It has to be trickier then that. Considering he still has some combat dialogue in missions. And if that was the case, they could’ve disabled them during missions. My guess is these sounded to “low honor” but you can’t have “high honor” combat dialogue. So instead of them just pouring tons of dialogue into one version of Arthur, they just cut it altogether. Also, these were a very late cut, meaning they almost made it into the game, and all of them can be added back into his set of dialogue with mods and no issues. I think it had nothing to do with technical issues, more so a issue with the dialogue itself.

They didn't cut this content. They just made it so that the player whether John or Arthur has a low chance of saying these whenever in a gunfight. I've heard some of these lines before, but yeah they should've made it more often, it gives a sense of interactability against enemies making the world more realistic and would've made gunfights more fun to do.
Wish some of these lines were used during the Grey's fight after sean was killed or after Lenny and hosea died, would really have shown how much arthur cared about them and the anger at the whole situation
These are some really good lines, it reminds me of Nikos combat lines, I thought no one could you rival Micheal Hollicks performance on those lines but Rogers are amazing! I can’t choose a favorite but both are really good, these should have been used
