Zep buddy checks at the moment the battlecry is triggered. I used it today with rylak w/reborn and I had another one in hand and when Rylak died for that brief moment it thought I only had the one so it gave me another Rylak which of course gave me the triple once combat was over. So yeah he's very good and comboed with Rylak. You can get some nice results
Back when anomalies were a thing, I was doing the one where somebody picks a card and everyone gets a copy of it and someone picked submersible chef on turn 2 while I was playing the shudderwok, it was insane.
I actually really enjoyed that anomaly. Audience Choice or something similar it was called. I really enjoyed anomalies. Not all of them, and they needed more balancing. They were getting them to a really good place at the end.
Eyy, you did it! Thanks for this, I and I think many others who weren't around for the buddy meta needed this. The worst part for me is the quest reward "get your buddy golden", i know most of the buddies but don't know who they belong to, so when I see that quest, I alway ask, "who's my buddy? Is it good?" Thanks again keep up the good work.
I have not seen that quest reward even once since they have been back, and I have played A LOT! Make sure you keep the list I included in the comments so you can quickly look up who's buddy is who's when you see that quest reward!
@@Heretic721 idk if it's still around because I haven't got it nor seen it yet myself, but Kripp got it once and so did another streamer. Kripp was illidan when he got the buddy and he did pretty good work on that lobby
It might have to do with the fact that all heroes that were added since buddies temporarily returned, do not have buddies (I think since Thorim?). I remember that when quests were first introduced, the golden buddy reward would be available for the entire lobby (at least, according to a ItsBen123 video where he got the quest). If that's still the case, then that quest reward cannot be given in any lobby with the new heroes
@@bobwanders4623 yes good point, you're right about the golden buddy quest being offered to everyone in the lobby too. I think when they introduce a new hero, they should really try and make a buddy for them too
I do not has I have not been offered that quest reward even once with the MANY games I have played. Typically though in the case of other interactions it is considered what your CURRENT hero power is.
Since I just saw your video I'm gonna complain of this stupid game. Five turns in 7th place not once did I receive the ghost. Like wtf I've been tying every match to cling for my dear life, yet those who just drop to bottom four always gets the ghost. This does not happen today, it happens frequently to me. WTF is this game trying to grief me every time.
I have heard lots of conjecture on how things might work, but the annoying part is they just do not have it in any clear writing anywhere. I feel a FAQ that they run would really help the players who care. I understand they want this super casual, but a lot of people enjoy the game played sometimes seriously, and for that the interactions should be clear, and concisely written out. Only thing I know for sure is of the bottom 3 players who are alive are in the running to fight the dead guy. How do I even know that though beyond experience?

Thanks for the short list of buddies to keep an eye out for.
Very informative. Thanks Heretic
I saw masworn for the first time yesterday and it was so crazy I literally didn't know what was going on lol
Mawsworn + Sr. Tomb diver is common buddy combo
Really OP tempo strat, and then combined with frostwolf/stormpike

Thanks I see that some Buddies can be very Broken if played correctly
Do you happen to know if the quest reward for getting your Golden Buddy works on your current hero power, or only for the hero you are?
I do not has I have not been offered that quest reward even once with the MANY games I have played. Typically though in the case of other interactions it is considered what your CURRENT hero power is.
Always thought Eclipsian Illidari was a flower somehow
5:56 there is actually 4 dragon in tier 6 due to phalanx having the "all" tag.
True! Poor Phalanx has been hit with the nerf-bat so many times I forget them,
