I’ve seen more Stagg (granted it’s been only two bottles) in NYC in the last two weeks than the last four years. One place had it at $250, the other had it at $300. X-Mas of 2019 they were $70 in this area. I think a fair portion of things are going to come down to being reasonable again
OMG Michters American in Cask Strength would be phenomenal!! I would 1000% buy. I have a custom decanter I have been waiting for something special to use it on.
Jason, thanks for the info. I’m a behind the scenes kind a guy when it comes to all things I get onto. After a stint with Scotch and bourbons availability I’ve taken a few trips to Kentucky. Located about a hour south for CBUS, always looking for that jewel. Thanks for the content. If you’re into golf give a look .
Jason, great video I really like that you don’t do a lot of filler stuff, you get right to the point of your video. A lot of great releases I hope I can find a few in my area. Just started to enjoy bourbon a few years ago and found your channel and I watch most if not all of your videos. Keep up the good work in 2024.
Great request, liters hope this happens! Side note, Danny over at Michters bought my wife and I drinks for our anniversary 2 years ago at the distillery and gave us a little private tour, we loved it and my wife kept calling him “the master taster” 🤦♂️ lol good memories and I’m sure he’s been called worse things lol 🥃
Hey! Glad I found your channel! Great info…allows me to have a point of view when hunting…just got into premium bourbons a little over a year ago. A friend introduced me to bourbon with Remus V and I was hooked! Glad to subscribe!
Enjoy the the release guide. I am all for the decanter too except from Wild Turkey. Because then the new $300-$500 bottles we all want go to $400-$600. Already too expensive. Let's go with a Benchmark full proof decanter. :)
Great video Jason. Lots to look forward to this year hopefully. I occasionally stumble into something LE but most of the time I am satisfied with Whiskeytube picks and there's always something new to try on the shelf. Also, my Scotch shelf is pathetic. Cheers!
Went to old forester yesterday at opening just to see what may in the store. Wasnt hunting 1924 per say but wouldnt mind it, ended up getting a Presidents Choice! Cant complain at all
Do you (or anyone) use a decanter? My wife gave me one for Christmas. I started an infinity bottle (1.5oz each) with my favorite bourbons. I didn't use rye or anything finished. And kept the proof range between 90-120. What do you use one for?
Jason, new to your site. I am just an bourbon enjoyer. I like it although I don't drink it often. My favorites Michter's (I see you have the american whiskey on your video), Old Forester 1910, Bowman Brothers and Blade and Bow. I tried something a while back and suggest you try it for fun. I saw a video where people were trying to mix bourbons to make a "Poor man's Pappy". So I mixed Michter's and 1910, 50% each. Surprisingly good. So when you get bored....
Jason, just discovered your channel a month or so ago. Loved the Christmas countdown. I’ve learned so much about bourbons/whiskeys from you. I’m an Irish Whiskey guy but slowly learning to appreciate American whiskeys. Keep up the good work! Cheers! 🥃
If you ever get a chance to tour Holladay Distilling, do it! They treat you with outstanding hospitality, the location is beautiful, and the whiskey is solid. The ancient cave might be a bit gimmicky. But, I have been inside of it. While it’s very reminiscent of what could become a hobbit’s home, it is cool and also literally cooler in temperature. Some of the juice coming out of the barrels in there is pretty dang good, so I am intrigued at the idea of this upcoming release. Not sure how many bottles will be available considering the limited space in that cave.
Glad to hear you picked the Camp Nelson F as your whiskey of the year. I ended up with a bottle and after seeing some other youtubers pan it was afraid I had a high priced turkey.
A Four Roses 100 proofer finished in red wine, Port or Madeira casks and priced less than $75? Sign me up!! If it costs more than that, I'd have to try it at a bar before taking the plunge.
More than any of the suggestions of Old Forester on your list, I'd like to see a 1910 rye. The OF rye os such a hidden gem and it has so much potential.
My first semi-serious bottle of bourbon was the standard 8 year Austin Nichols WT 101. I saw it deteriorate to what it is now and have switched to Rare Breed. I would buy a case if they brought it back at a semi-reasonable price.
Great Video.. I wan to see more Green River products on the shelf.. great whisky for 35$ also, predict a massive fall of the bourbon boom to bust. we shall see... but I do see a trend for most people to stick to bourbon priced at 20-50$ and not the high flying Stagg secondary market.. will go bust..
Wheel horse cigar blend is already out in my neck of the woods. Not amazing but pretty decent considering it's 30$. If it comes out consistently I could see it being a really good daily. Also wild turkey should do a barrel proof 10 yr rye. Rare breed rye is around 112 proof for my bottle. If you're going to do it then do it right
I actually just saw the wheel horse cigar blend today when I was searching online and I’m a bit confused. When I clicked on it on breaking bourbon it took me to an article that said it was released in Nov 2023. So idk if this is a new batch or if it was just mislabeled and put in the Jan 2024 category. Definitely interested in a $40 cigar blend if it is a new one
Side by Side review of the Old WT RB Label and New Label WT RB heard there is a difference. You reviewed WT101 when the label was changed and said it was for the better.
I'm with ya on the decanters & pricing. I fell in love (my palate anyway) with Garrison Brothers in 2023, Cowboy being my favorite bourbon I had, looking forward to trying GB Guadalupe, Honey Dew & Lady Bird to finish out the line. Cheers to 2024 Jason 🥃 👊
Your last request about the pricing is my first request. I remember years ago living in KY and getting these bourbons for 1/3 cost of today. And I love new stuff so hoping to see a new distillery or 2 release some good bourbon.
Nice video Jason, some heavy hitters in there. Question for you, did Jim Beam stop packaging the Hardins creek in the tin cases? I got a Claremont coming my way that apparently didn’t come with one? Kinda a shame but last years 3 releases seemed like a good price for the age.
do you know anything about the woodford reserve double XO blend? picked some up at an airport duty free in south Korea and I'm having a hard time finding much info about it other than websites selling it
It's a combination of two Woodford Reserve bourbons, both aged in fresh charred oak barrels. The first bourbon is 17-years old, while the second is aged for 7 years before being transferred to heavily toasted new oak barrels for further maturation.
The prices will go down when people stop buying 4-6 year old juice for more than $150
Impossible 😂
I’ve seen more Stagg (granted it’s been only two bottles) in NYC in the last two weeks than the last four years.
One place had it at $250, the other had it at $300. X-Mas of 2019 they were $70 in this area. I think a fair portion of things are going to come down to being reasonable again
Preach!
As long as inflation is a goal of the economy prices will continue to to rise. Cost of everything used to make and market is higher nowadays.
Yup FOMO needs to stop
Good video!
Yes, on Woodford Double Oaked with a higher proof!
🤯 Mind Blown!
Pound for Pound M&D is the best channel on UA-cam! Thank you sir for all that you do
Knob Creek 12 year cask strength, hell yeah!! I missed first batch and seems to be unfindable.
I wish for a Tin Cup 10 year at 100-110 proof
OMG Michters American in Cask Strength would be phenomenal!! I would 1000% buy. I have a custom decanter I have been waiting for something special to use it on.
I'm surprised you've seen Travelers on the secondary market. It's everywhere in central Florida, often at less than MSRP.

2024 is going to be a good year
The ECBP series, Celler aged, Camp Nelson, and always on the look out for Pappy 15, and BTAC
Excellent list and information! Decanters should definitely come back.....please
I would love Knob cask strength again!
Love your content...THANKS JASON
You can’t beat decanters. Perfect barware to show sophistication!
Enjoy the the release guide. I am all for the decanter too except from Wild Turkey. Because then the new $300-$500 bottles we all want go to $400-$600. Already too expensive. Let's go with a Benchmark full proof decanter. :)
Saw the Old Potrero sitting on your shelf & had to go get myself a pour. Such a great rye.
Cant complain at all
Old Forester 1915 knob Creek 12 cask strength, age stated WT 101 and prices made reasonable love it. .
Do you (or anyone) use a decanter? My wife gave me one for Christmas. I started an infinity bottle (1.5oz each) with my favorite bourbons. I didn't use rye or anything finished. And kept the proof range between 90-120. What do you use one for?
Another great video Jason. Hope some of those bottles make it to our next of the woods in the NE. And, yes, lower the damn prices!!!
Last two requests were gold, would love to see decanters make a comeback

Yes the 1915. One of my favorite blends. Cheers

Thanks man! More to come with Irish too!
Amazing call on bringing back decanters!
OMG that would be delicious Sazerac finished in amaretto I would have to buy a case LOL imagine making an old fashioned with that!
If you ever get a chance to tour Holladay Distilling, do it! They treat you with outstanding hospitality, the location is beautiful, and the whiskey is solid. Glad to hear you picked the Camp Nelson F as your whiskey of the year. I ended up with a bottle and after seeing some other youtubers pan it was afraid I had a high priced turkey.
Anyone who thought that was a bad whisky I think was solely focused on price. I get that part of it. But you can deny how good it is.
Straight away 2024 🥃
Great ideas in the request portion of the video!!
A Four Roses 100 proofer finished in red wine, Port or Madeira casks and priced less than $75? Sign me up!! If it costs more than that, I'd have to try it at a bar before taking the plunge.
KC12 Cask strength for the win
Nice report, buddy! I'll be real curious to check out that Bardstown Amrut. Love the Sagamore Amaretto fin idea too : ) Cheers!
Love when you do these vids! Gets me excited for the upcoming year. Thanks for the great content Jason!
I geeked out over the silly Piggybank Decanter from WhistlePig! I’m definitely team Decanter!
Hope to catch one or two of these of the shelf. Most excited for the M&J Green River and JD Rye picks. Let's go 2024!
Always love your videos, learn something every time
So excited for the single malts coming out now. They will get me more into American whiskey.
Excellent run down Jason.
This is the year I am seeking King of Kentucky. It's time to add it to my 1000+ collection.
interesting that holladay label listed 375ml. I like that for limited release to hopefully allow more access
Couldnt agree more about the KC 12 Cask ltd. Bring it back!
More than any of the suggestions of Old Forester on your list, I'd like to see a 1910 rye. The OF rye os such a hidden gem and it has so much potential.
That could be really good. Great suggestion
I’m excited to see how it all goes!
My first semi-serious bottle of bourbon was the standard 8 year Austin Nichols WT 101. I saw it deteriorate to what it is now and have switched to Rare Breed. I would buy a case if they brought it back at a semi-reasonable price.
I really want that Corbin cash 12 and the heaven hill 18… those are the 2
Man what a great list

Great video as always!
Great video!
Knob Creek 12 year cask strength! I even emailed them about that last fall
Jason C. I want that hat! 🥃🤘🏼
Howdy and Thanks for the intel! Great info n opinions! It’s going to be a wild ride! Saddle up! 🤠🥃🇺🇸🇨🇱🙏
Have you tried Barrell foundation? I’d be interested to see a review. Heard it’s super good, fairly budget friendly bottle
If you're going to do it then do it right
Jason where are you seeing Indigo is sourced from Dickel? The release states distilled in Indiana, aged in kentucky and bottled in tennessee.
It was the original label I saw. Could have changed I guess.
Interesting.... I have a chance to get it not sure I want to spend that much on it.
Great breakdown for2024 & enjoyed your wishlist 👍
Looking for Sagamore Port Finish in MO....
I actually just saw the wheel horse cigar blend today when I was searching online and I’m a bit confused. Decanters, YES!!!!,
I like amrut fusion, so that bardstown looks interesting
New Holland has the best single malt I have ever tasted
Yes, lower prices please. Or at least don’t keep jumping them so much year to year. Looking at you Wild Turkey!
Great video! Cheers!
I’m starting to see Stagg for 160, ER store pick for 65, and EHT for 80, all sitting for days. Things are turning.
And little book 8 is essentially all rye and incredible
Side by Side review of the Old WT RB Label and New Label WT RB heard there is a difference. You reviewed WT101 when the label was changed and said it was for the better.
Noted
A lot to look forward to this year. 12 year rye from Corbin Cash????? Man, I’d love to get that bottle
That sounds incredible
I'm with ya on the decanters & pricing. I fell in love (my palate anyway) with Garrison Brothers in 2023, Cowboy being my favorite bourbon I had, looking forward to trying GB Guadalupe, Honey Dew & Lady Bird to finish out the line. Cheers to 2024 Jason 🥃 👊
Your last request about the pricing is my first request. I remember years ago living in KY and getting these bourbons for 1/3 cost of today. And I love new stuff so hoping to see a new distillery or 2 release some good bourbon.
Decanters!
Is this another release of Wheel Horse cigar blend?? They just came out with one last November and it's sold out.
Great vid! I’m new to whiskey and in Ohio. Love supporting local. Silly question, you ever do wrist checks? Looked like a nice timepiece in the intro.
Jason where do you get those wild turkey hats ?
Nice video Jason, some heavy hitters in there. Question for you, did Jim Beam stop packaging the Hardins creek in the tin cases? I got a Claremont coming my way that apparently didn’t come with one? Kinda a shame but last years 3 releases seemed like a good price for the age.
Mine had a tin case but it was a cheap tin. Not as nice as the Jacobs Well one. However I have seen some without it. Seems like a crapshoot. lol
Jason where do you score that sweet Wild Turkey hat?
I need that Turkey hat!
do you know anything about the woodford reserve double XO blend? picked some up at an airport duty free in south Korea and I'm having a hard time finding much info about it other than websites selling it
It's a combination of two Woodford Reserve bourbons, both aged in fresh charred oak barrels. The first bourbon is 17-years old, while the second is aged for 7 years before being transferred to heavily toasted new oak barrels for further maturation.
Very nice video bro
Will we see jd 10 and 12 this year ?
Don't sleep on Chattanooga Whiskey 🥃
Any news about Knob Creek 10 year rye?
After trying Town Branch it was so bad I almost stopped my bourbon journey. 🤢 Hope you have a better experience.
Releasing the KC12 CS one time really makes no sense. That release is so good!
No mention of whats jack's specail release is going to be this year?
No info on their stuff yet. They keep things pretty quiet.
You know what I want in 2024….these insane bourbon prices to fall.
Prices just went up between 2 and 10. Some of these are in the no go zone now.
WHISKEY CHEERS 😎
Looks like there are a few more pickups to grab this year. Here’s a great request how bout Direct to consumer and cut out all the distributor BS.
Jason, where did you get the cool turkey hat?!?
at the distillery
New Riff's High Note Wheat is absolutely phenomenal and kills so many wheaters. Weller who??
HH18 🤤
Do 4r 🎉🎉
OF 1915 bottle would be👌🏼
I cant find that hat. Where did you get it? Very nice!
Got it at the wild Turkey gift shop
101 cast strength would be great as well as the kc12 cast strength
they might have a dry, plaster taste on the finish
Woodford reserve double oaked cask strength!!!
JC I had the Wheel Horse Cigar blend and it’s nothing special and on the lighter side as far as mouth feel and flavor goes
Oh that's disappointing
Is all Yellowstone juice from Beam ?
The limited releases are. The other stuff I think some of it is.
