This was my first use of liquid cooling after years of building PCs, and I was nervous, but your video helped allay my concerns. I really appreciated your inclusion of timing, for example, when to insert the pump head, and installing as many cables as you can before attaching the fans/radiator to the case. @@arjohnvillaester3390 The radiator runs at 2300 rpm max, it doesn't stay at it always though. The 3200 RPM is the pump speed, mine is at 3200 RPM constantly.
I just ordered this aio. I’ll be coming back to this vid when I go to install. Thank you! One thing I did read was deep cool recommends the cables be at 6 o’clock for optimal performance, rather than 3 o’clock as you had it here. Cheers

The Castle EX will work great on a 12400F, I haven’t got the LS520 yet but I’m hearing and seeing that it performs much better then previous Deepcool AIO’s, as well as most AIO’s out now, so I’m assuming it will be at least a little better than the Castle. I’ve run a Corsair H100i Elite, Deepcool Castle 240EX and soon this one and my temps have been well below safe on all of them.

@@DawarKhan01 You could with that CPU just fine, but make sure it's at least a decent one, I wouldn't recommend the stock Intel cooler (if you get one with a cooler).

I have a DeepCool LS720 WH AIO and a DeepCool CH560 case so this is a huge help. You have a very soothing voice as well. I can't for the life of me tell which way the proprietary connectors go and the included instructions are no help there either. I'm very interested in this water cooling solution, but the weird necessity of connecting the pump to one of the fans is worrying me. My case doesn't allow for a water cooler more than 30mm thick to be installed on under the top and - according to what I saw in the video, I don't think that the pump cable is long enough to reach a frontally installed fan. I'm honestly puzzled by a choice that appears to restrict the installation possibilities of this outstanding Deepcool AiO.

Informative Video ;) In a couple of weeks I plan on revamping my HTPC Build in my existing Silverstone GD07B HTPC case, I've already purchased an i9 12900K Bundle and also a Deepcool LS520 Liquid CPU Cooler. I believe that I will need to Sandwich the Stamped Steel Case between the Fans & Radiator, do you believe that the Supplied Long Fasteners are long enough to accommodate the added thickness of the Stamped Steel Case? Or will I either need to procure longer fasteners or simply Flatten Out the Stamped Steel in between the Fans and Radiator with a Dolly and Hammer? Thanks in advance, Randy AKA randog311

Cool build! I like the white and black and compact size. Thanks for sharing the install. Personally I like the Corsair commander core as that iCue software is much more reliable than the mobo. Initially had some fans and strimmer 8/24 pin cables on the mobo but MSI software was janky, bought some adapters and moved to commander core and works great, wish this cooler had something like that instead of relying on NZXT mobo but oh well still looks and performs great it seems!
How many 3Pin ARGB Connecters are going to be used? Bc my Motherboard has 2 and I need 1 for my case fans and then there is only 1 left is this enough? Couldn’t see it out of the video!
Sucks you only show Intel, but it's alright it's somewhat helpful. I watched a video from the company but still a bit confusing. I got it all in, just waiting on my processor to show up tomorrow to boot up my pc. Since it won't power on without the processor. So I can't see if anything works right now.

@@kingdon9690 as i know it is better that the fans put air from the outside of the case, because it should be more fresh that the air from the inside of the case.
You state that via the connectors on the cable tree that goes to the radiator you can control the fan rpm of the fans on the radiator. But these fans strangely draw their power from the sata connector! The 3 pin DC pins dont work at all! I cannot control the fans, not via the bios or via msi dragon center software! Anyone got this same problem!? Need to fix this, damn AIO sounds like a plane taking off ;-)

How to make sure that you tightened it enough? You just used the hands to tight it again? My LS720 is running very hot on my 12900K. I had retightened 2 times and can’t keep it below 100c on R23
When I installed this cooler with an AMD 7600x cpu I used a Phillips screwdriver and tightened each corner (in a star pattern) until there was mild resistance. I feel just using your hands to finger tighten won't always ensure solid contact with the cpu.
Okay. Super frustrated. My gaming computer arrived and it has the LS520 AIO. Upon initial startup, the top three fans seem to be running VERY fast and loud. I gave it some time and they still run that loudly. I have an Asus prime x570 mobo and the BIOS for any kind of fan control is non-existent. Does anyone else seem to have fans running loudly?

The LS520 completely trashes over that aio... Its literally the best 240mm aio, it competes with the best coolers on the market. I own the LS520 and have the i7 13700kf overclocked to 5.5ghz at 1.4v (which is pretty high but anything lower and is not stable) and the avg temp i am getting in cinebench are 74-75C while pulling 230+ watts.
Can someone explain how to change the RGB colors? If I have the molex (i belive it's called?) plugged into a JARGB_V2 header. When it's plugged in it's a very dim purple. When it's unplugged it's a bright wavy rainbow lighting. Why can't I control it? Loving the answers on reddit about making sure it's plugged into the RGB header. Doesn't really tell me much does it lol.

I could have cable tied better to be honest but I'm regularly swapping parts for various tests so... But also the case could do with some channeling.
Just ordered this today for my 12600k. I loved the Castle 240EX, it perform slightly better than my Corsair H100i, Deepcool was way quieter.

Is the deepcool ls520 just fine for the ryzen 5 7600? or too overkill? should i just get the ak620 air cooler or get the single fan deepcool ls320?
Is it woth to change included thermal paste to e.g. Arctic MX-4 or MX-5 ? How good is included paste?
So how to control the fan speed because if the SATA is plugged on, its full speed, regardless of what is set in the qfans or msi dragon center.

The lighting is controlled by your motherboard software if I recall correctly. So perhaps it's settings in there.
