Ordered the H100x Elite RGB. No USB cable. Two hardware packages, AMD and Intel. Both standoffs are in the same package with no directions on which is for the different sockets. Corsair hasn't been any help. Really glad I found your video showing the difference.
Very nice walkthrough I am fixing up a prebuilt and decided on 240 H100i elite capellix xt (replacing 120mm back mount aio that died prematurely) Decided to top mount barbs right so the tubes align vertical along my cabling channel-blending in, then emerges as it makes it way to the pump head. - clears ram and gpu rather well. All quite tidy. Easy to take out the defective aio, this vid helping put in the new one first time. Much obliged! Thanks for the walkthrough!
WOW! Nice build! glad to see corsair going type-c nowadays micro usb is so old fashioned hope they do this with all their products and other companies should too.
The magnet logo cover is a nice touch to make things simple and not worry about orientation too much. And usb connections :Yess!! Great review as usual. Would this be considered a more cooling performance oriented aio? That's the feel I get, with little to no rgb.
This video got everything set up for me even though I'm on AMD was a little tough about finding the correct way to do the standoff and if I should keep the plate on or if not. Everything else was simple.

I think the only way to make the usb c look good is to put the port right by the tube's and then it comes pre installed and you can follow the tube's to the top and push out the back from there in-between the fans.

Really helpful video. I'm replacing a knackered h100i v2 extreme with this one, I was hoping to just use the existing wiring, as taking out the old wiring will be a pain. The problem is the new usb-c connection to the pump head. Could I use a tiny micro-usb to usb-c adapter for the existing wiring and connector to the pump head, or will this blow up my workstation? Thanks.

For some reason I found that my ryzen 9 5900x goes up to 70C and the fans are at 1000 rpm and very loud when only running at 5-10% usage. Also after running the cinebench it goes to 2300 rpm and the coolent is 50c and the cpu is 90c which is worse then my old air cooler that is 3x cheaper
im thinking about buying one, ive seen the capelix model but it seems like ppl have sounds problems with it, does this run one runs quiet under big charge ?
My msi board thankfully didn't have to adjust the screw holes for the standoffs. But now I just have to clean off the pumps thermal paste since I'm using thermal Grizzly paste rather than the Corsair stock paste.
Can i replace these fans with SP120 RGB Elite fans? I bought those fans to use two for this AIO, replacing the factory fans and one extra fan for exhaust in the back of the case. I was just worried if those would actually work with this radiator.

How is the pump noise? I was originally thinking of the H150i Elite Capellix, but have read online that there are issues with the pump making a good amount of noise. I am pretty sensitive to noise, so that turned me off from buying it. Also, what is the minimum rpm that the pump in the Elite can spin at?
Dear friend, I just build a new computer with an Asus Prime Z690-A, 12700 processor and a Corsair H100i Elite Capellix AIO. Where do you recommend to plug the H100i, on the CPU fan and pump header (near top of motherboard) or on the AIO dedicated header (next to the processor socket)? Thanks in advance and for the great videos!
Just a question idk if it’s a common problem or not but I opened my new h100i and on the cpu head itself inside the protective plastic, there was corrosion or a leak of something trapped in the plastic tray. I was just wondering if anyone had an opinion on wether or not I should proceed with using the one that shows a potential leak, or should I get a replacement

Can you tell us what the lowest RPM setting is for the pump? Some users of the Elite CAPELLIX AIOs reported noise issues with the pump even at it's "quiet" setting of 2200 RPM. So I'm just curious whether or not the pump on the RGB Elite can go lower than 2200 RPM.
I have this AIO and the pump only goes down to 2027 RPM. Still very audible and annoying. I want to return it and plan to swap it for EK AIO and control it over FanControl Software.

I don't understand. The dimensions of my case says the top can fit a 240mm yet the radiator is hitting part of the motherboard and ram is there anything i could be doing wrong?
