Thought I’d chime in here regarding hints and tips for noobs. Please continue as I’m new to Railroader and am enjoying the fresh start from the beginning. Thanks!
Hot tip for keeping the sawmill fed at high tiers, purchase two cuts of cars for each siding so that one can be loaded while the others are being unloaded. This also goes for industries that require pulpwood.
great video! Timetables are definitely a struggle. glad you figured it out! I'm hoping for some improvements to it, especially around the having to cycle trains when they reach the end destination and you need them to depart right away. But I did learn a few things I didnt know about timetables and the AE (because I didnt bother reading the guide lol)
It depends. If you're worried you might forget running your timetable, then yes. Otherwise, you get more bang for time spent using a timetable. You will pretty much have a full train every run using them. In my save, I went from passenger train making around 4k a day to over 8k a day on 2 runs back and forth (one morning and 1 afternoon) and all 6 cars are near full the entire way (Alarka - Sylva) now. As long as I remember to cycle the passenger trains, its even easier to manage while doing freight. Set it and let it go when its time.
I too have started a new run for 2025 and this time open more slowly and not go past the coal mine and have the passages end in Alaka. I've done the single player most industries East to West up to Andrew's and back to siver interchange it was fun but your mate Ai had to do most of driving
So from the way i'm understanding the timetables, you have to be using "AE Road" in order for it to work. AE Waypoint likes to bypass stations on it's own
The name of the game is Railroader and no you can't design locomotives. Right now for steam you can set the number and name on the tender. For diesel locomotives and most cars you can also set the color of the car. There will eventually be official mod support.

Yep, see season 1 :)
Yes, I practice this as well
Glad to see you back on a railroad series. I enjoy your truck, farming(logging) and railroading gameplay. I do watch for FPS's but not as much.

Now I'm watching you playing this game. I want to download it and start a new save. Lol
Hoping you would explore timetables. It is a bit confusing.
It is a little confusing at first
i still not convinced that timetables make more money seems a lot of work and time to do while trying to run freight

The help says you can use either mode, but there might be a bug
Great video and thanks. Do you end up using the CTC?
I used it a bit last season but don't plan on it for season 2
Can you custom design locomotives in this game? And what is the name of the game?

@ ok, I was wondering. Thanks, I really like your content, I just found your channel today! Keep up the good work!
@@AndrewClauto1361 Welcome and thanks for watching!
Just a question. The logs get loaded on the right side, or did they change it?
I'm not sure what you mean. The car orientation doesn't matter.
@KerboOnYT Sorry, my bad, the log trailers are standing at the right place. My English is not the best.
