Nice video. Great emergency solution. My only question is "wouldn't this add a little extra weight on the tyre; probably causing imbalance between left and right wheels? " Or is this the reason why tyre should be replaced after 120 miles?
@@petef15 Yeah, Thanks. And it's true too. I eventually used one and later took the tyre off the wheel; to inspect. It formed a latex coating all over the inner surface of the tyre. It seems to also protect the tyre against any future punctures.
@@daviderhahon I bought a DynaPlug Pro Extreme tire repair kit that is now part of my emergency kit. With the expensive centerlock wheels that come on the car, I am not taking a chance. I also have the DynaPlug Pro (more compact) tire repair kit on my motorcycle.
@@malcolmgorley6491 You are actually correct, Malcolm. It was designed to be a temporary measure. However, that sealant is pretty durable; especially for small, nail-sized leaks. Been using mine for months now.

Dear DoItLikeATruck, thank you for your message. It works on all passenger car and VAN tyres at a pressure of up to 4bar. We do not recommend the use for trucks and motorcycle tyres. The application for all tyres is as shown in the video. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to contact us. Best regards from Germany, Social Media Team @Continental
This method appears very straightforward to use, also it’s not at all labour intensive unlike changing a wheel, is it better than having a spare wheel?, I can certainly appreciate the environmental benefits of not carrying around an extra wheel, not to mention the fuel saving!!.
Wrong ! In the rain, find the jack, loosen wheel nuts, raise car, remove wheel, lift spare out of cradle, lift onto hub, etc etc. Rain Rain. This is much, much easier. Hope the tyre can be repaired....... but I suppose if you have a Mercedes, you won't mind !
Was totally useless for me. Tyre was so badly damaged I couldn't get enough air in the tyre to allow the glue to circulate and patch the damage. If only the manufacturer had given me a spare tyre instead of taking the cheap option.
Nice, looks good, but... at the end, has he replaced the tyre with new one, or just fixed it?
you can still use a basic foot pump to pump tyer after the sealant has been used right ?
How much quantity to be use, complete bottel or som drops ?😮

The sealant dries up mostly and becomes basically a latex coating. The weight is negligible.

After using the kit, the tire can be reused?
Fantastic video. Feel like I know what to do now.
Why does it have to be replaced after max 200km? Bike tyre sealant works for about 2 years.
How easy is it to remove the sealant from the inside of the wheel during the tire change.
Not easy at all.
However, there is no need to bother removing it.
It keeps the leak sealed always.

How can I get that sealant?
If the tire is punctured once, so can no longer be used?

Just drive to a repair shop and they will fix it and put it back on your car. This product is meant for a quick fix.

Available in USA? Let me know.
Does it work on all type of tyres this way?

Providing an extra wheel could have been a more user's friendly and better idea.
