Superbe. Merci
Book : 25 easy and progressive etudes
First etude tempo : 152bpm
Me : Burns the book
i realize I'm kind of off topic but does anyone know a good website to stream newly released movies online ?
@Zaiden Landon i would suggest flixzone. You can find it by googling =)
@Yehuda Gabriel Yea, I have been using Flixzone for months myself :)
@Yehuda Gabriel Thanks, I signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) I appreciate it!!
@Zaiden Landon no problem =)
Ahh the days when I played the piano! This is one of the beginner piece that i actually enjoyed!! And Clementi’s Sonatinas! Thank you
I'm taking up by using these books. And Czerny too!!!
Never too late to start playing again 🙂
Not a beginner piece... Middle intermediate.
@@LesleyMason-q2r definately beginner. Most can play this withing just 6 month after first playing it
@@taxol2 I've started this piece after playing for 6 years, practicing 2-3 hrs/day. Not finding it overly easy at all. I guess I am retarded.
So simple, so beautiful!
00:44 Sorry, shouldnt the g and the f# be sustained there in the right hand? its like that in my score.
Very nice, this piece really shows emphasis with movement in the wrist, but it is not apparent at first, I caught on to that after a while of practicing. They are nice little etudes
good man
Ok james
I just found this song recently in my mom old burgmuller book im going to learn it because it sounds so beautiful and simple 👍
Thanks! This has helped me!
This is the song of Toei Asakusa Line 😮👏
I'm level 6, and my teacher is making me play this. I'm not mad. I really love like this piece.
Daphne Huang there is no level in piano unless you play the piano adventuress like what I used to do
My teacher used to make me play this even before I gave my level 1 exam
levels?
Level is often used as a synonym to grade, and their are many programs in the world that have grades, like the rcm, abrsm, cm, and so on and so forth.
@@kyori016 maybe rcm or other piano exams
wow it is amazing i really love the song, i really enjoy it
isn't there suppose to be the getting louder and getting softer parts from the music score?

Hi! I really admire your work. If you can, write the Czerny Germer method. Thank you.
I do czerny germer method
What do you think of the metronome marks? Are they to be taken seriously?
Don't take them seriously.
speed it up , and there you go , you have a Bach piece xD
TheGreenPianist sooooooo tru
Yep
this helped me a lot, thank you very much!
Not really. Most of the piece the left hand plays chords. No counterpoint.

Sir, the original score of Artless Mind by Bürgmüller specifies a crotchet tempo of 152. Since you may have a good reason to play at a far slower tempo, I should be grateful that you sustained your views about it.
Nobody plays this at 152 per crotchet.
@@BachScholar Nobody… everybody… perhaps. But why? And how about the composer's intent? My query is an open, not polemical one.
Maybe some pianists play 152 per crotchet for this piece, but most of the metronome speeds for the other pieces are too fast and pianists rarely play them. Some are almost impossible. Burgmuller used the metronome differently than we do today. He seems to have meant that the number is per quaver, not crotchet. But this is just a practice speed, so better would be a crotchet speed of around 108. Composers were not God. Their metronome speeds are often flawed and not always good advice.
@@BachScholar Thank you for expressing your views. As to Artless Mind I do not share them - and I should think it is a matter of taste, for a higher tempo, as specified, makes the piece airier in my view. Conversely I agree with the tempo you play Bach's Invention 5, all the more reason I can read it originates from a scientific assessment, which I go for. As to a composer not being God, I dare say God has not been celebrated as a music composer, which precludes Him from being a referee. And since you are a composer yourself (unfortunately
I have not been able to find any of your composition on the Internet), I doubt very much you would accept your own idea about the tempo of one of your pieces be dismissed as irrelevant. Who knows? This reminds me of a passage of the biography of Respighi by his wife Elsa, who recalled that, while attending a rehearsal of an orchestral piece written by her late husband, she represented to the conductor that the tempo was definitely not that intended by the composer. Nothing doing ! The boss knew better - oblivious to the fact that Elsa has received a complete musical training and that… SHE should know better for having shared the life of the maestro for decades.
I like trains. I love trains. I adore trains.
I also love trains
