Hydrogen is an alternative fuel source that can be home grown in the US and anywhere. Why not invest in another option for the transportation industry? This can be another step in getting off of petrol.
Because our government makes bad deals with bad energy with bad people
It's not as efficient as batt power vehicles and very dangerous.. do some research on why the only places that have hydrogen available are right near hydrogen producing plants . It's very difficult costly and dangerous to transport hydrogen ...
You would basically have to build thousands of hydrogen producing plants all over to make it even worth anything.. gm scrapped thier hydrogen powered van in the early 70's when they figured this out ...
All these companies are going to find the will loose out to battery powered even in the semi truck sector..
Do so research on how many places there are in the country where you can fuel up hydrogen. .. practically zero... 😂
Working with an MIT pyrolysis expert to vaporize dirty waste plastics to hydrogen and sequester the carbon and other by-products. It's not "green" per se, but it addresses several issues for a net gain on both the plastic waste plague, the production of ammonia (crackable to hydrogen), and sequestration of carbon where grey and blue hydrogen are concerned.
The production of H2 dose not require pipe lines. Much of the H2 demand can and will be produced locally in comjuction with other industries.
I'm curious as to why you discuss Bloom Energy so little in comparison to Plug or Nikola? It seems they have the technological moat, I'm excited about their high efficiency electrolyzers and getting their fuel cells approved for maritime shipping. Is there any other players in the energy storage market (non-hydrogen) that you invest in? Keep up the good work
Great question. I absolutely love Bloom Energy, but don't cover them on YT because the interest is limited. But I think I will start covering them more, because at the end of the day my goal is to convey the opportunity - regardless of how much attention it gets. Bloom has been in the business for 15+ years and they have a mastered high scale production of a very cost effective product, a killer combo in the hydrogen business!

I recently made more purchases. Saving money for a market downturn is likewise a bad idea. There are numerous ways to look at recessions and depressions, we cannot always expect to make large returns, and taking chances is better than doing nothing. The bottom line is that you will achieve remarkable results by diversifying your portfolio and making wise decisions. My portfolio's raw earnings rose by $608k in just 5 months.
I haven't been able to accumulate anything despite my belief in your guidance, my recent stock purchases, and the fact that I am an AMC shareholder. Prior to the downturn, I had already been in the hole for too long. What steps are involved in investing?
Because I work a variety of professions, I do not invest in a single fund. That's not how I act at all. I imitate their behavior in my own. experienced financial advisor Ruth Loralann Brennan, who holds a US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) license. I am interesting in Hydrogen energy. Do you have any reading materials to recommend such as papers or website, Thank you so much.
Really appreciate your videos. Do you have an opinion on ADN in comparison to Plug Power and Bloom? Thx
ADN is my high risk/high reward bet on a very nascent hydrogen technology - high temp PEM. Plug and Bloom are much less risky and as a result my positioning towards them is bigger, they can still provide solid returns as hydrogen adoption grows and costs come down. But ADNs technology can bring down costs of hydrogen exponentially faster and if the demand is there, they will get bought out by a bigger system integrator and reap the benefits of royalties. A potentially supernova business if they commercialize their high temp PEM technology

What is your concern about IVECO manufacturing capacity to scale up for Nikola in Europe. Do you think relying on a third party for scaling up manufacturing is risky
Not at this stage. When ramping up manufacturing, they need to use as many resources as possible and create a sticky market position in the eyes of fleets. When they raise more money and realize more revenue in Europe, they can buy Iveco's plant in Ulm or look into creating a European subsidiary - like all the big automakers do for different geographic regions.
In the future, hopefully near future, I'll be putting out a technology that will allow us to get the hydrogen we need direction from water on demand at rates high enough to run internal combustion engines. With this technology all that will be needed in the vehicles tanks will be water. The technology is actually quite old but the fossil fuel industry along with the IMF and World Banks have stopped it from becoming mainstream going on 55 years now. I hate to say this but thanks to Elon Musk now this technology can finally come out.
i buy 100 nikola shares and hold it for 5 years or maybe more.

FCEL is a stationary natural gas generation business, very exciting but might struggle if they don't pivot towards green hydrogen. The IRA will end up pricing FCELs customers out. I have not heard of HYSR
@@visceral_investing Thank you. HYSR is a penny stock promising lowest cost Hydrogen production.
The interview, is pretty negative towards H2 current use case in heavy trucking , infrastructure awkwardness, price , even H2 blend into gas pipeline to solve infrastructure issue, guess who can use natural gas/H2 blend in heavy trucking? Hyliion’s upcoming Hyper Truck Karno
The benefit with H2 is that it can be used using 0 combustion, and gives you direct access to renewable resources. You can't make natural gas using solar panels, and you still need to combust it to produce energy - which is less efficient than a fuel cell. That's why hydrogen is more in focus

why not make a fuel cell that can make hydrogen directly from water for instance usage in the vehicle, bypassing any need for infrastructure to store hydrogen? The only requirement would be water stored in vehicles tank.

Wow this aged really, really well. If you bought when this guy made this video you would be down 90% right now lmfao.
Batteries and BEVs are literal garbage... If you add up all the energy losses to make them, move them, energy bleeding, scrapping them, recycling them, bad charging in hot/cold weather you find that Batteries use vastly more FF than just burning it in your gas tank... This says nothing of the incredible environmental damages done by batteries. Nothing, it says NOTHING about the near slave labor used to mine for the materials to make batteries or the damage to the planet, and we're literally just starting the process. Solar and wind are the same story, it's all fake... They use so much FF to make that garbage that most of it (panels and wind turbines) will literally NEVER PAY BACK THE ENERGY DEBT. Yeah yeah, they tell you it does, until you actually look at how much energy debt they add up... They always leave out large FF energy costs and take their best outputs without averaging across different zones... Solar is not equal in Canada or all of the upper US as it is in Utah...
In that video they show a wind turbine and have a giant 0 in the image, IT'S NOT EVEN CLOSE. VOlvo did a study on the Co2 costs for a EV VS ICE, they say 90k miles to pay back the energy debt, but it was fot a 150 mile range EV... All EV's are around 300 miles thus the batter is slightly over 2 times as big, meaning the payback in miles is around 180k - 200k because of the law of diminishing results. Then you factor in that most EV's are powered by FF and you literally NEVER PAY BACK THE ENERGY DEBT. Ohh, but you get some wind/solar energy mixed in there... but that had an energy debt too, so you're looking at 500k + miles. Even if it's pure solar that you use to fill your battery, as I said, that solar is about 60-70% indebt if it produces max energy over 25 years... so most of that energy is just FF converted to solar panel.
Politicians, fake scientists, battery companies and car companies love selling people on batteries because it makes them rich. Governments get to create debt or tax us to pay "scientists" and companies who then pay political parties during elections. It's all about making money.
MMGW is not real, if you believe it is, that's fine... but we're 45 years deep in it and not a single prediction has ever come even a full 1% true... It hurts to hear, but that is a fact based on taking prediction VS reality... like 20 feet of sea level rise and 1/3rd the world population being wiped out by around 2014... came and went, but it's like the religion of the far left, ops did I say far left? Yeah, because that's all MMGW is, a political weapon for the far left. Worse storms? Didn't happen... Children not knowing what snow was? Didn't happen, Islands disappearing, didn't happen... North pole ice free? Didn't happen, dead people everywhere, didn't happen. Now MMGW nutters brag that "climate change" means more fucking cold and snow... forgetting just a decade ago that they claimed we would have little to no snow or cold weather. They did that with a team of "scientists" standing there... who were literally 99.8% wrong. Like actually either a full 100% wrong or worse as in the case of claiming 1/3rd the world population being dead by 2014 where in reality we gained hundreds of millions of people...
Hydrogen is a good idea because despite being inefficient to make, it does not require digging up the whole planet to store the energy like batteries do. It saves energy in trucking because when idol the energy loss can go to 0% rather than running like deasil trucks have to or cars at stop lights, it adds up, and quick.
Anytime you hear someone in "the biz" claiming "climate neutral" or "Co2 reduction," they are playing you... it's advertising buzz words meant to make you feel ok with Governments taking your money and literally handing it to them. It's there to sell you a car or truck. The don't believe any of it, it's all fake... they know it and now you do too... Those companies create so much Co2 it's unreal, it's like Elon fanbois claiming Elon and Tesla are saving the planet as they cheer him launching rockets into space, paid for by you guessed it, tax dollars and debt for you to pay off the interest on. They literally don't give a fuck, they are making millions and billions.
I don't care if you don't believe me, reality already agrees with me. The longer you live the more true everything I said will be and the hard it will be for you to deny.
Those are some great points. I might address them in a new video
@@visceral_investing Thank you. BTW I have most my investment in HYSR, a "solar" hydrogen company. I say this not as a promotion, because I don't care, but to show I have my money where mouth is.
Hydrogen works well in hot or cold, you can move it around, it lacks the weight of batteries, has zero environmental impact when making the canisters to hold hydrogen. If you can make hydrogen at home (one day plz gawd) then you can fuel your lawn mower, home, vehicles without having to stop at a fueling station, saving time and ironically, fuel...
If you care to look up SunHydrogen HYSR, it's a start up. It's not a normal solar panel that just uses the energy to create hydrogen, it creates the hydrogen slowing in the panel.
Again I'm not promoting HYSR, it's a start up and could bust, that's fine... but it does not require electricity made down the street from a fossil fuel burning plant, nor does it require the energy debt of a typical solar panel or wind turbine.
------------------------------------
BEV semi trucks are allowed 5k more in weight than a desial and Tesla's unreleased truck is about 250 miles shy of required usage. This means more damage to roads and plastics from degrading tires due to the massive extra weight, something hydrogen does not have to require.
Hydrogen requires no extra mining, slave labor, horrible work condition, moving of materials over continents and oceans (using more energy.) It does not require making (more energy debt to make them) massive tractors that burn 12 gallons of FF a minute to dig up the earth.
Taking Hydroelectric or even Nuclear power and converting it to hydrogen as the storage without continues losses after like we see in batteries is a great way forward when it comes to being more efficient with energy.
Anyways, I know I'm long winded, but thanks again.

Lol every time someone makes this manufacturing of EVs and either batteries takes a lot of fossil fuels to do they never compare it to how much fossil fuel is used to make legacy ice vehicles and the amount of fossil fuels consumed after it's manufactured and in use ...or in this case hydrogen vehicles ...same . It never fails to amaze me Musk fanboys keep pointing out that Nikola rolled a truck down a hill. They conveniently ignore Musks indestructible windows busting on stage, failed hyperloop, failed autonomous taxi service, failed boring company, failed promise after promise. That’s not even mentioning his own version of Tesla freight trucks. It’s my feeling that Musk is going to go the way of Elizabeth Holmes-he’s running a Ponzi scheme. Even his beloved Tesla cars are flimsy and poor quality. It’s nothing new for a prototype to be lacking. When Steve Jobs showcased the first IPhone it was a barely functioning piece of crap that needed smoke and mirrors at the demonstration. Now just about everyone has one and has had one for many years. Nikola had hiccups for sure. They are moving forward and I have high hopes for them. We need them and companies like them to succeed. It takes a cynical shithead to root for their failure.

I think people need to understand that alternative energy will never fully replace gasoline. Nor should it. Crude Oil is refined for far more reasons then just gasoline. Gasoline is a waste product of crude oil that use to be dumped into the ocean until combustible motor vehicles started hitting the roads. It would be a waste to not use it. Also the demand for energy is going up, not down. These alternative energy doesn’t help replace demand, it simply lowers the “growing” demand of Oil and Gas. I don’t disagree with using some hydrogen where it’s convenient. But don’t for a second think that EVs and hydrogen vehicles will fully replace gasoline. We should be finding safe and effective ways to expand carbon capture. There are consequences of depending too heavily on any source of energy. Diversity would be ideal.

PROBLEM is hydrogen requires a feedstock, often it is natural gas so all pollution required to obtain natural gas is still in the hydrogen equation. If made with blue hydrogen, the feedstock is water. With all the drought going on I do not think using water as feedstock is wise, unless glaciers fall and elevate sea levels, then need to desalinate the elevated water and can use for hydrogen production. BUT as a positive for hydrogen and negative for EV battery, much of lithium mining already requires lot of water.
Wtf are you talking about? Yo I got to live on this earth with peeps like you? Lol 😄 😆 🤣 water is EVERYWHERE 🤣 you a hydrogen hater? A troll? Or just misinformed? No wonder the elites were able to shut down the world over a cough, you guys are clueless
