How did you pick your editor for this book?
Finding an editor that matches you is rough. =]

It is really challenging. I have been using the same editor for the past 8 or 9 books and I was lucky enough to have her find me. I spent a lot of time and money getting sample edits when I published my previous epic fantasy series and while the editor I ended up hiring was good at what she did, she was not as strong in copy edits as she was in developmental or line edits--which I tend to need less of, as I already have a small team of beta readers and every editor I've ever worked with had had nothing but praise for my grammar and sentence clarity, haha.
The editor I use now picked up the first book in the Snakesblood Saga as a recreational read and caught a lot of copy editing errors that had slipped through. She compiled a list and sent them to me when she was done, just because she liked the story and wanted to help me make it better. She already had a lot of editorial experience, though at the time she primarily worked in translation. So when the editor I was using for the series said she could not finish because she could not keep up with the work load, the switch to my current editor was an obvious and easy choice because she'd already been reading every book in the series for fun and knew the story well enough to finish out the series. After the good experience we had working together, it made sense to keep her on as my usual editor :)

Which book of yours should I start out on?

@@ZachScottB Hmm, good question! I guess it most depends on what you're looking for.
The Snakesblood Saga (Starting with Serpent's Mark) is an epic fantasy with romantic elements.
Westkings Heist (Starting with To Steal the World) is a solo heist novella trilogy following a thief's rise to fame. This was my husband's favorite for a long time.
Artisan Magic (Starting with The Assassin's Bride) is a trilogy of connected stand-alone fantasy romances.
Spectrum Legacy (Starting with Spectrum Blade) is a more classical epic fantasy I am told has big Legend of Zelda vibes. This is my husband's current favorite.
Then there are a couple little stand-alone stories.
Of Blood and Rain is a short high fantasy stand-alone about riddle solving and curse breaking.
The Witch and the Wyrm is a stand-alone romantic fairy tale.
      I think that's everything...
