Struggle Jennings - Redemption Through Music - The Ed Clay Show Ep. 25

- Опубліковано 30 чер 2024
- Struggle Jennings is a Rapper & Songwriter from Nashville, TN. Struggle is the grandson of Waylon Jennings, was one of the original members of Yelawolfs Slumerican label, and now is the owner of his very own Angels and Outlaws Record Label.
Struggle's music is at the heart of the intersection between country and rap. Struggle released his first studio album in 2013, while serving a 5 year prison sentence, titled "I Am Struggle". After his release in 2016 he could get right back to the studio and release the album "Return of The Outlaw"
Over the next 8 years Struggle Jennings would collaborate with artists like Jelly Roll, Yelawolf, and others to release 9 more albums since his release in 2016.
Listen as Ed Clay sits down with Struggle to talk about the long road that he has walked to get where he is today. Struggle's family stories may be some of the wildest you've ever ever heard, the death of his father comes with a plot twist you wont see coming, and one is left to wonder how strong someone has to be to endure all those seasons of adversity and still remain hopeful for the future.
Struggle's relationship with Jelly Roll goes way back and listeners hear how that relationship developed overtime, through prison sentences, and now onto the big stage. Struggle also took a stand during COVID and gives us a good example of what it means to never compromise your values.
Sit back and enjoy The Ed Clay Show Episode 25 with Struggle Jennings!

Struggle is throwing out straight FACTS! 💯 🇺🇸💯
Love this perspective of accountability! I'm a teacher of 25 years in the same district... took 21 years for a principal to truly understand.... he had us read the 4 Agreements and it was life changing for me! Ain't gonna lie I still lose that vision from time to time but I always come back stronger! I thank my collegues who fight in the thick and thin with me every day ... and our principal (he does the best he can day to day and elementally cares and loves the kids we see) for keeping the vision alive! KIDS FIRST... every adult that lives and breathes needs to recognize KIDS are the FUTURE!!
This needs more views! Great interview! Stay slum⚡️⚡️
