Yeay I've been stanning Suju since 2009 and they are my serotonin for the day! I can suggest some of their songs in the more serious side: "Burn The Floor" is very delicate but feels triumph. "This is Love" and "Evanesce" is a two - part mv. Super Junior Eunhyuk Solo "Be" is very spacy and floating feeling. Super Junior KRY - When We were Us is one of their best ballads.

One of the most entertaining group if not the Most entertaining group in Kpop, they have it all, MCs, actors, great vocalists, dancers, comedians, composers, rappers, goofy members, everything. And their live concerts are the most fun to watch. And they also sing beautiful ballads specially with the sub unit Super Junior KRY. You should check their other videos too.
For those who may not know a lot about Super Junior, to help you understand how influential and epic Super Junior are: The group was originally created to be a "project group" which meant that SM Entertainment originally put the group together with members who had all different talents within the entertainment industry, as well as singing and dancing.
When the group was created they were considered the super rookies of the company so they were given the name Super Junior '05. The original purpose of the group was for the members to get more experience in all aspects of the entertainment industry while they also worked as singers and dancers. For example, Shindong and Eunhyuk were supposed to be training as comedians and hosts, Siwon was an actor, etc. (That is why the members of Super Junior are involved in all aspects of the entertainment industry today.)
The original plan was that after about 3 to 6 months, when their company decided the members had gained enough experience, the individual members would graduate from the group and form other groups or move on to other careers within the entertainment industry, etc. and new members would be added to the group.
However, Super Junior gained a very large and vocal Korean fandom even before they debuted, and when the fans heard about SM's plan to have the members of Super Junior leave the group, the fans got together and demanded that SM allow Super Junior to stay together. With large scale protests and purchasing enough shares of SM stocks, fans became voting members of SM Entertainment's board of directors and were able to force SM to promise that Super Junior would become a permanent group. E.L.F. (Ever Lasting Friends -- SJ's fandom) are some of the most loyal and vocal of all Kpop fans.
Plus, I think one reason why fans were so upset about Super Junior '05's concept was the fact that the members of Super Junior were actually part of a larger group of trainees who the fans had watched go through an elimination process. The members who "made it" where the 5 members who originally became the members of TVXQ, and the members who formed Super Junior '05 were the "castoffs." But fans had already formed a bond with ALL the trainees, so they were upset that the other members who "didn't make it" (Super Junior members) might eventually disappear from the spotlight, etc.
When Super Junior first debuted on Nov 6, 2005, they had 12 members, but 6 months later Kyuhyun was added to the group to officially make them a 13 member group.
Then in 2008, SM created the industry's very first Mandarin Chinese sub-unit designed to bring Kpop to the Chinese market and they added 2 new members to Super Junior (Zhoumi and Henry) and Super Junior officially became a 15 member group. Henry is Chinese/Taiwanese-Canadian and Zhoumi is native Chinese. However, Zhoumi and Henry were only allowed to be members of Super Junior-M. So, Super Junior is a 13 member group + 2 (Super Junior-M) members.
So, technically, Super Junior was "originally" a 15 member group. However, in the same way that the Korean ELF supported Super Junior and forced SM to make them a permanent group, in 2008 when SM announced the addition of Henry and Zhoumi and the creation of Super Junior-M, Korean fans protested yet again. But this time they were against adding any new members to Super Junior. So the Korean fans forced SM, this time, to agree to only make Henry and Zhoumi members of Super Junior's Mandarin sub-unit (they needed more Chinese members to make the Chinese sub-unit work), and they were not allowed to be included in anything to do with the main group of Super Junior.
Then in 2010, Hangeng (The industry's very first non-Korean member of a Kpop group -- he is Chinese) and Kibum left the group and Super Junior became an 11 member group + 2 (Super Junior-M) members.
In 2018 Henry left SM Entertainment, but he never officially left Super Junior. Now, before someone says "Henry is not a part of Super Junior any more," I want to point out that it has never officially been said that Henry has left Super Junior. Yes, he left SM when his contract was up after 10 years, to start his own independent company -- called Monster Entertainment Group -- but that doesn't necessarily mean he left the group. So many true fans are holding out hope that this means he still may collaborate with SJ on projects in the future. (He is still living and working in Korea and he is still in contact with all the SJ members, etc.) After all, the 3 members of Girls Generation who left SM have said they would like to do something similar in the future. All three members of Girls Generation have said just because they left SM, doesn't mean they left the group.That's why when Girls Generation made their most recent comeback they did it as a sub-unit Oh!GG, because they weren't the full group. And even Taecyeon from 2PM left JYP Entertainment, but his new company has partnered with JYP to allow Taecyeon to continue activities with 2PM. And Ravi from VIXX left JellyFish Entertainment, but he has continued activities with his group. So, it looks more promising all the time that if Henry ever wanted to do something with SJ again, he could. After all, Henry is one of Lee SooMan's (SM's) favorite people. (Even though SM may have never allowed Henry to reach his full potential under them, which is part of the reason why he left the company. But I don't think there was any bad blood between them when he left, and he has always been one of SM's most prized artists for the amount of talent he has.)
Then in 2019, KangIn officially left Super Junior, and now they have 10 members + 2 (Super Junior-M) members.
However, currently they have 9 active members. Sungmin decided to take a hiatus from the group in 2017 because of Korean fans' protest over him getting married. And now after more than 4 years, even though he had his solo debut in 2019, he has still not done any activities with Super Junior.
Zhoumi renewed his contract with SM in 2018, so he is still an "active" member of Super Junior, however, because of the political issues between China and Korea, Zhoumi had not done anything with Super Junior for almost 6 years. However, Zhoumi released a new song "I'll Be There" in 2020 with SM, and more specifically, under Super Junior's label -- Label SJ -- and it features Kun and Xiaojun from WayV. And, even more exciting, is the fact that, for the first time in a long time, Zhoumi was back in Korea and he actually worked with Super Junior again. Zhoumi and Ryeowook (one of SuJu's main vocalists and a member of Super Junior-M) released a new song in 2020 called "Starry Night" and it has a Korean and Chinese version. Zhoumi is an actor, model, author, lyricist and songwriter/producer, etc. in China. If it wasn't for all the political issues he probably would have been in Korea working with Super Junior this whole time. But because he is only a member of Super Junior-M and they aren't active right now because they are unable to promote in China, Zhoumi has been doing other things with his career.
So, as you can see, depending on the time period you will see a wide fluctuation in the number of members who are included in each of their songs, MVs and activities. Because they have such a large group with such a wide range of ages, the number of members have fluctuated over the years as the members have all taken their turns serving in the military, because of injury, and controversies that have caused some members to take time off, etc.
Damn.
I've seen some damn good breakdowns, but that is easily the best I've ever read on the story of SuJu.

I got to know about suju through exo as they were close to them specially during their early years. They are talented and hilarious. When you see them together you can totally see how they are more like friends than bandmates.
One song that I highly recommend is Sorry, Sorry (Answer) the vocals in this are insane. I, myself, have not gone through their whole discography yet but title tracks that I like are burn the floor, bonamana, mr simple (bops). Also sweet songs like It's you and No other.

They title tracks tend to be on the fun side and are very catchy, but their BSIDES!!! Damm! Look, I promise you won't regret diving in deeper with super junior! With 16 years of career, and basically 11 full studio albums, they have covered practically every genre of music you can think of. They are the first group in kpop to create sub units! they had a total 5 at one point. ( now only 2 are active and still successful) please please keep asking us to give you recommendations I promise you will love them!

Here is some info for you Fifi, it's not long don't worry:
1. I see you were surprised at Shindong busting some moves in House Party, well that is because he is part of the dance line and is one of SuJu's Lead Dancers. He also majored in dance at college.
2. Currently, you won't see much of Heechul in their dance practices that's because of the injury he got from a car accident in 2006 after visiting co-member Donghae's father's funeral. His legs were nearly shattered at the time, he now has a metal rod in his legs and unfortunately, he still feels pain and couldn't dance a lot like he used to. SuJu's dances were hard-hitting before his accident but for Heechul, they had to simplify a bit, early on you will see him dancing but after a while maybe due to age as well the pain is probably unbearable unlike when he was younger.
3. Some of the members are missing in the music videos you are watching, aside from SORRY SORRY, it's because some of the members were serving their military services and some left the group and 1 member is on hiatus, and 1 is in China. SuJu used to be 13 but if we're including the SuJu-M members then all together they were 15 but right now they are *11 (*a member is on hiatus and another is in China so technically they are 9 currently).
Fun fact, "Devil" was released in 2015, so Shindong and Sungmin did not participate in this song because they had just enlisted in the military. This also happens to be one of the last MV where we see KangIn as a member of Super Junior. But he will always and forever be a member of SuJu, so you should get to know him as well.
If you like fun story-based MVs, similar to "Mamacita," you should check out Super Junior's original version of "Devil" as well. This has a fun storyline and it will also help you to get to know all the members names better because the intro to the MV introduces the members names as they describe each of their characters in the story.

SUJU!!! My Ults :D Sorry Sorry is definetly one of the most fun songs in the history of kpop, ELFs (Everlasting Friends - suju's fandom) has a love-hate history with it because on the one hand it's a bop but on the other it gets played Every Single Time they perform hdhdhfb. They're definetly a very fun group, and their actual personalities shine through in their music as well (they have No Chill on variety shows - it's great), but make no mistake - they have a LOT of soulful, soul crushing songs under their belt!
The members you liked the voices of were Yesung (black hair vocalist in Black Suit), Donghae (the one with the gum), Kyuhyun (one person with an open, rich voice, did adlibs), and Ryeowook (another person with a slightly higher open, rich voice, also did adlibs) - coincidentally kyuhyun, wook and yesung are members of kry (first ever sub-unit in kpop + suju's main vocal line).
Suju over the course of their career dipped into a LOT of genres and styles, and their discography is really diverse! :D Some REALLY good songs that from them are It's You, Evanesce, Sorry Sorry Answer, One More Chance, and This Is Love :D

Didn’t see anyone point out the red/pink haired vocalist in House Party, so just wanted to chime in and say that’s Yesung. 💙 He has amazing husky vocals and has belted out some of my personal favourite high notes. If you want to check out his solo work, Corazón Perdido is absolutely beautiful and his cover of The More I Love You is breathtaking. Each of them are phenomenal singers alone or together. Hope you enjoy getting to know them as much as I did.
Lastly, ELF don’t mind honesty, especially if it’s backed by genuineness. Plus, Super Junior have played with so many genres/styles, you’ll find something you like anyway. 😂

Super Junior's "House Party" is one of the biggest quarantine anthems ever produced. All about dreaming of a world where we will someday be able to get back to some of the "normal" things we all miss. LOL But that only will happen if we keep wearing our masks and social distancing. That's SuJu for you, taking a PSA and turning it into a hit song. :D I can't believe that was actually a central theme to the song, and yet it doesn't surprise me either.
I know you don't like to watch the MVs with the lyrics on when you do a reaction, but you should watch this MV with the English lyrics so you can see what the song is about. The lyrics are actually kind of funny/clever and fitting for what everyone is going through right now. It will also make the choreography and MV make more sense.
Fun fact: If you read the words on the top of the cake that Ryeowook brought to the party, it says "Everlasting Friends." E.L.F., or Everlasting Friends, is Super Junior's fandom.
Believe it or not, this MV is also tied into SM's Universe and it is connected to EXO's, SuperM's, aespa's, NCT's, etc. storyline. (You can see references to this MV in aespa's "aespa 'ep1. Black Mamba' - SM Culture Universe" video.) The pink planet you see Siwon golfing on is possibly Kwangya, or, at the very least, tied into SM's storyline. Just another example of how everything SM does is connected.
And, of course, the vocals are insane, Super Junior is an OG group from SM Entertainment, so you shouldn't expect any less. Plus, Super Junior has the 3 best vocalists -- Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung -- who make up the sub-unit Super Junior-K.R.Y. Super Junior-K.R.Y. is the industry's very first sub-unit and they are a ballad unit who have an unbelievable vocal range. Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung are the vocal standard in the industry, who set the bar that all other vocalists are measured against. But as an SM group, all the members of Super Junior are amazing singers -- even their rappers have been known to fill in as a main vocalist on occasion.
Super Junior knows exactly what they are doing. They haven't been in the industry for this long without being experts at reinventing themselves and coming up with something new and innovative with every comeback. Super Junior debuted Nov. 6, 2005, and this is their 10th full length album Renaissance. This song is part of their 15th anniversary celebration. "Raining Spell for Love" -- a remake of a B-side track from their "Mamacita" album from 2014 -- "Melody" -- their fan tribute song -- and "Burn The Floor" were the first songs released from the album, which were all released several months before "House Party."
After more than 16 years, Super Junior has done pretty much every genre of music. It's older-style Korean pop music that's all about being kind of cheesy, fun and over the top.), Super Junior-M (Mandarin Chinese) and Super Junior-H (Happy). And they have 12 members in total, and most of them also have solo tracks and albums. So yes, they have plenty of songs to check out, as well as numerous live performances and concert footage. Super Junior was the first group to ever hold 100 concerts back in 2014, and there have been dozens more since then. So, I don't think you will run out of Super Junior things to watch for a very long time. LOL
Super Junior has their own record label -- Label SJ -- which is under SM Entertainment, but also more independent, so they are able to collaborate with other Kpop artists outside of SM Entertainment and even non-Kpop artists such as Latin artists like REIK and Leslie Grace.
Super Junior members range in age from 38-32.That's why they have a more mature and classy look and feel to their most recent MVs and songs and that's why you often see them dressed in suites. They are all men, not boys. LOL But as you will soon discover, they are one of the most unique groups when it comes to the dynamics of the members personalities -- they truly are fun, crazy, over the top and aren't afraid to just let their freak flag fly when they interact with each other.
SJ are legends in the industry and they have paved the way for almost everything you see in the Kpop industry today. They set the standard for how Kpop is promoted around the world. They are also the first group to have serious roles in all the other entertainment industries -- setting the standard on how a Kpop star branches out into all parts of the industry. They are not only singers and dancers but members are musicians, composers, songwriters, lyricists, music and video producers, TV and movie actors, stage actors, models, radio DJs/ hosts, variety show hosts/MCs, authors, etc. Pretty much anything we think of as a standard part of the Kpop industry was created because of them. They were the first Kpop group to have non-Korean members, the first group to have dedicated sub-units and the first Kpop group to have a sub-unit that focused on producing songs in Mandarin for the Chinese audience.

Super Junior for sure is SM's party group, but they have a lot of songs that are more emotional or vocally heavy! Add another tally for Sorry Sorry (Answer), but one of my absolute _favorites_ of theirs is It's You, which was the title track for their Sorry Sorry repackage. Similarly, I can't not recommend This Is Love and it's sequel Evanesce.
Also thank you so much for appreciating their vocals! ❤️ I feel like no one talks about their vocal skills in regards to SM groups and it breaks my heart to see them consistently be disregarded.
YESSSS, WE HAVE SOME SUJU LOVE!!! Honestly, Suju is a group that started with so many members and have been around for such a long time (since 2005!!!) that the cumulative amount of scandals theyve seen over the years has people classifying them as one of the "messier" kpop groups, but they're truly legends in Kpop history and the comradery between the remaining members having been coworkers/brothers creates for great energy and vocal compatibility whenever they do get their schedules to line up!

First of all thank you so much for reacting to the legends themselves. When you get a chance definitely react to Burn the floor, 2ya2yao(more hip hop heavy), I think I (more latin). I know you don't really react to performances but Evanesce is a must listen especially live because they are incredible singers. Even the rappers are amazing singers. Their b-sides are more vocal heavy and if you really want vocals check out the sub-unit Super Junior K.R.Y which is Kyuhyun Ryeowook and Yesung they are a ballad group and also the first sub-unit ever in Kpop. I admire Super Junior for sticking together for 16 years and they have been through a lot but have always supported each other which is why I think they have stayed so solid for so long

As someone who was able to attend their last world tour before covid I can confirm that Super Junior are indeed insanely fun and their fans (ELF) are as well. Like you said they do have other vibes (Burn the Floor is an unsung masterpiece and their subunit KRY is well named for how gorgeous their vocals are) but when I need cheering up they are one of my go tos. U, SPY, Magic, Evanesce, and It's You never fail for smiles from me

Let me help explain what is happening in Super Junior's "Black Suit" MV. First off, Nov. 6, 2017, the day the "Black Suit" MV was released, was Super Junior's 12th anniversary. That's why this album and comeback was extra important to fans. It had been more than 2 years since we had had a comeback from SuJu because 7 of the members were enlisting in the military over the past 2 years before this comeback. Play -- the album this song is from -- is Super Junior's 8th full length album.
In "Black Suit" each of the members play a different character in the auction house. Siwon was a "Client representative" -- a person who places a clients bid for them while talking to them on the phone. The blond "security guard" is Donghae. Shindong was the millionaire who was hiding under the chair on the floor in the MV. Leeteuk played the auctioneer. Eunhyuk, the curly haired guy with the glasses, was the appraiser. Yesung (the main vocalist) was the guy in charge of transporting the suit from storage and Heechul was the savage one yet again as the Decoy.
"Black Suit" has only 7 of the 13 members of Super Junior. Six members are not a part of this comeback -- Ryeowook and Kyuhyun were in the military at this time, Henry and Zhoumi are the Chinese members of Super Junior-M and they are not part of the main Super Junior group, and Sungmin and KangIn were inactive at this time due to some controversy (KangIn, has sadly now left the group).
Here is my theory of what happened in "Black Suit". The concept of the story in the MV is kind of like an "Ocean's Eleven" movie. The members are playing a group of friends who are planning to steal the suit. In other words, it was an inside job. Super Junior planned to steal the suit even before the auction. The real suit was never on display because Yesung -- the transporter -- helped to hide the real suit away and they replaced it with a fake suit. That's why in the beginning of the auction you see Eunhyuk -- the appraiser -- up at the front testifying to the fact that it was the "authentic suit" to make sure no one suspected that the suit wasn't the real one. Because the suit on display isn't the real suit, when the girl at the end steals it, none of the members try to stop her because all the members know it's the wrong one. Heechul starts the fight by throwing a bottle in order to distract from the fact that the theft has occurred.
In the beginning you see the fight taking place all in reverse. They rewind the scene to show us what led up to the fight. Shindong is the comedian of the group and because he is playing the millionaire he decided to make his character scared of all the chaos that is going on during the fight scene, that is why he is hiding on the floor.
They truly are a group of brothers that have been together for so many years that nothing is off limits and they don't hide their true selves from the cameras. LOL If you saw the behind the scenes of their MVs you would see them all making fun of each other and swearing and just generally acting crazy like a bunch of teenage boys. Check out their SJ Returns reality TV show to see them on set filming "Black Suit." This is the first part of episode 37 where you see them on set m.vlive.tv/video/46461, but there are several episodes after this also where they are on set. I've been stanning suju since 2012 i found them before i found shinee and exo love them their songs are so catchy & fun and their dances too they also have really good bsides too which is no surprise since their an sm group lol ngl there was some of their old title tracks that i didnt like right away when i first got into them but over the years those songs grew on me and i love them now!! I loved your reaction to the hip-hop/trap switch up in house party literally my reaction when i first heard it too lmao also donghae is my ult in suju and i had a feeling he might catch your eye lol my other biases are yesung (the one with red hair with the vocals in house party) and heechul🥰Black suit & Devil are 2 of my fave suju songs so glad you liked them fifi and i knew you would appreciate yesung's vocals & all his runs/adlibs in the songs he's such an amazing vocalist he's my fave vocalist in suju and one of my faves in all of kpop!! and honestly suju are the the party group of sm lol they're the og chaotic group in kpop imo tho they still are the most chaotic even tho they're all in their 30s nearly 40s😂😂sorry sorry & mamacita are so iconic!! sorry sorry literally came out in 2009 and it's still iconic, groups are still covering it today!!

It's almost impossible to be a fan of Kpop and not know Super Junior's "Sorry Sorry" LOL. This is one of THE MOST iconic Kpop songs and choreo of all time. "Sorry Sorry" came out in 2009 and it is what shot Super Junior into intentional superstardom. EVERY single person and their grandparents in Korea knows this song and can dance the dance. "Sorry Sorry" is the one song that everyone in the industry knows and is practically required to perform at least once in their careers.
This song is so well known and so iconic that it is the most well known Kpop song around the world, and when it came out it became an international trend. Groups of people were getting together in 2009/2010 and learning this dance and song and posting it all over the internet. The song was so big that even an entire prison population in the Philippines learned this dance and performed it. You can find thousands of clips of groups of people from all around the world performing this song and even grandmothers have formed dance teams and aerobics workout classes around this song and choreo.
You can also find clips of pretty much any Kpop group or artist performing a cover of this song and dance as part of their standard rookie debut.
You should look up the English translation of the lyrics to see what they are talking about. Fun fact: In the lyrics some of the English lines they are saying, "Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry.
