Looking at a SuJu MV for the first time and suddenly recognizing all the members is the most Super Junior thing ever 😂They are like Kpop Avengers! Individually they're all already SO established and well known and talented, and then they come together in a group and it's like 'wait, they're ALL here together?? And have amazing music and chemistry?! And sing like noone else??! WHAT?!' The group is truly epic 🤣
No matter what people say about them, Super Junior is undeniably an extremely talented group. Once you hear masterpieces like Sorry Sorry Answer (an iconic sexy version to their popular and viral track "Sorry Sorry"), or their slow ballad "One More Chance" written by Donghae in the military... you just understand why they are still together. They've thrown fists at each other and have had disagreements that would have broken apart other groups, but Super Junior have always stayed together. I hope you can dive into them more eventually and hear more of their work. And yes, their vocal unit (KRY Unit) are incredible. Yesung (the raspy vocalist you pointed out in the first two songs) is one of my biases in the group along with Kyuhyun (another member of KRY).

everytime someone rected to super junior for the first time, they would recognised like more than half of the members. that is such a super junior thing. explained that they are very well established individually. they shine as a group and individually in different ways. super junior members are everywhere on tv channels. this is rare to happen in a kpop group. kpop groups which famous as a whole, yes that is normal in industry. SM (Lee Soo Man) established super junior as a multitalent group. it was his objective and i guess they did become one right. 17 years of debut and still stay relevant as a group and individually, thats a legend.

Super Junior has 5 sub units, but only 2 of them are active. The other one is KRY, which is the vocal sub unit and consists of members Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Yesung (the voice you liked in Black Suit and Lo Siento). They are also the first established sub unit in kpop, debuting in 2006. The other three units are Super Junior - T (Trot), Super Junior - H (Happy, bubblegum pop music), and Super Junior - M (Mandarin unit that includes two other members not in the main line up, Zhoumi and Henry).
Thank you for this super junior reaction. I started stanning them during pandemic, lots of suju's fans (Elf) were born during pandemic era because we spent so much time at home watching korean variety shows and suju's members appear on lots of them. That's why you can recognize them individually. Though they have their own individual successes, they still maintain the group activities up until now, in fact they just released their 11th album and in February they're going to Latin America countries for their concert tours called Super Show 9.
I just finished Lo Siento part but I just want to say that for someone listening to them for the first time I love love that you recognize members individually and actually get their names right! Also that you were able to tell it was Yesung with that voice from one video to the next.
If there’s something I haven’t seen from other groups is the fact that right after dropping Lo Siento they were touring in Latin America and they took Leslie Grace on almost all of their interviews and she would go on in concerts! All the back stage content from then was so good and I haven’t seen other groups do it like SJ even when collabing with Latin American artists.

As an elf (suju's fans), i still stunned to watch Burn The Floor video because its very beautiful and different vibe from any suju's performance, like theyre being so serious until the end of the song lol. SuJu are the most unserious idols there are and I truly love them for that. Their mvs are super (pun intended) fun, they always give 100% and they are all such wonderful human beings and veeeery talented!

Super Junior is like a treasure box or a gift, you'll never know what's in it until you open it. they have almost 800 songs and they always try various concepts, plus each member's voice has their own characteristics, that's why when combined they can create foreign but beautiful harmonization, you will always be surprised by that. Not only their songs, each member is very unique, with different personalities and different skills, they dominate the Korean entertainment industry. Super junior is the busiest group in kpop where every member and their skills are in every show, that's why you feel familiar with some of the members, they also have the nickname variety show monster where they appear it always increases the show's ratings
I am late to this party but I remember when I first got wanted to know more about Super Junior, I got so much info from the comments. D&E is Donghae and Eunhyuk. Eunhyuk is who you recognise from Weekly Idol. He has green hair in Super Clap. Donghae was wearing the head band in Lo Siento - he's the one you said you were strangely into. He had purple eyebrows in Super Clap. The 'wait that's him' in Super Clap was for Kyuhyun. That was the first MV in this video that had him in. He was in the military for Black Suit. Their videos are great. Their one shot story music video for 'It's You' was pioneering. I'm sure you've probably watched Burn the Floor again because it's totally mesmerising but just in case, the lights in their hands are always on, they just use their pockets/clothes/hands to cover them when they don't want them to be seen. It's so clever

I understand your nostalgic moments, because when I've first started to listen kpop (around 2012, but OSTs from 2009), there was this kind of a familiar feeling because the music somehow reminded me of the '80s and' 90 music which I grew up with it. I'm 43.😊 Also Super Junior is EXTREMELY popular in Latin-America, so they did many songs in latin style, even in Spanish, did some covers, and collabs. ❤🎉

SuJu is my first ult group (before TBZ) and Heechul is my SuJu bias. I knew SuJu thanks to him! Super Junior debuted with 12 members (like TBZ!) Then later added the 13th member, Kyuhyun. Now they're down to 10, with one member on hiatus from group activities since 2015, so there's 9 active members, but Heechul doesn't promote much with them, especially on music shows because of his injury from 2006
That was fun watching you be amazed! SuJu really does sound amazing together and the sub-groups are really good, too! You should go back and listen to the remake of "Raining Spell for Love" that you passed by (Heechul is in it!).... I think that song, being a live performance shows how amazing their vocals are! everytime someone rected to super junior for the first time, they would recognised like more than half of the members. that is such a super junior thing. explained that they are very well established individually. they shine as a group and individually in different ways. super junior members are everywhere on tv channels. this is rare to happen in a kpop group. kpop groups which famous as a whole, yes that is normal in industry. SM (Lee Soo Man) established super junior as a multitalent group. it was his objective and i guess they did become one right. 17 years of debut and still stay relevant as a group and individually, thats a legend.

Super Junior has 5 sub units, but only 2 of them are active. The other one is KRY, which is the vocal sub unit and consists of members Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Yesung (the voice you liked in Black Suit and Lo Siento). They are also the first established sub unit in kpop, debuting in 2006. The other three units are Super Junior - T (Trot), Super Junior - H (Happy, bubblegum pop music), and Super Junior - M (Mandarin unit that includes two other members not in the main line up, Zhoumi and Henry).
Thank you for this super junior reaction. I started stanning them during pandemic, lots of suju's fans (Elf) were born during pandemic era because we spent so much time at home watching korean variety shows and suju's members appear on lots of them. That's why you can recognize them individually. Though they have their own individual successes, they still maintain the group activities up until now, in fact they just released their 11th album and in February they're going to Latin America countries for their concert tours called Super Show 9.
The last MV was directed by Shindong. Suju has their own label, under SM, to produce musics and videos
I just finished Lo Siento part but I just want to say that for someone listening to them for the first time I love love that you recognize members individually and actually get their names right! Also that you were able to tell it was Yesung with that voice from one video to the next.

If there’s something I haven’t seen from other groups is the fact that right after dropping Lo Siento they were touring in Latin America and they took Leslie Grace on almost all of their interviews and she would go on in concerts! All the back stage content from then was so good and I haven’t seen other groups do it like SJ even when collabing with Latin American artists.

I don't use that word lightly, but "Burn the Floor" really is a a masterpiece. Yes, they control the lights, like a mix between Indian candle dances and Spanish castagnettes. Btw, Shindong directed it. Check out "Heads Up" live in Super Show 9, perhaps the sexiest SuJu performance ever.

Super Junior debuted with 12 members (like TBZ!) Then later added the 13th member, Kyuhyun. Now they're down to 10, with one member on hiatus from group activities since 2015, so there's 9 active members, but Heechul doesn't promote much with them, especially on music shows because of his injury from 2006
