In this video, I decided to try a viewers suggestion to use a vacuum system to pull all the air out of the repair while I let the epoxy cure. Let me know what you think in the comments below.
Tech that I used to make this video:

Phone: Samsung Galaxy S9+ - amzn.to/2ZyDe5l

I like this idea, but i think you can improve it: When you suck out the air, the tiny air bubbles sticking in the cracks are getting bigger, and the most of the air comes out. To get the resin into the cracks, you have to open the bag, as long as the resin is fluid. Then the last tiny air bubbles will implode to almost nothing, and you would have the resin in the cracks.
Not bad Bro, not bad at all. Keep on rocking the cracked screen. I appreciate your efforts.
Outstanding job
Thanks!
What about using one of those car windshield repair kits? It has a plunger that sucks the air out of the crack.
I also have a video on that. Thanks for watching
Nice, clear step-by-step video. Sadly we can't really see the results you describe, because the screen is still so smudged and dirty. A quick alcohol wipe or even a pass with a buffing cloth or straight razor would let us see just the chip and epoxy residue.
have you tried with resin?
What camera are you using? Yhe video is absolutely clear and running 60fps. Very informative video also btw
Thanks man! This was shot on my Galaxy S9 Plus in 1080p 60fps.
Just subbed, thanks man,you just save me a lot of money, appreciate it brother.
can you try with gorilla clear glue please?
Coudy you try this with clear nail polish?
I did that in a different video
Thanks for watching! What repair ideas would you like to see me try?
Removing glass only from screen using dry ice...
Same idea but on a phone/tablet with curved screen! Thanks for your great vids! I've subscribed and I'm looking for buying repair kits and vacuum bags here in Sweden :)
Would that work on house window glass also ?
Epoxy will work on window glass. Just make sure you use a razor blade once it is cured so you can scrape it flat.
I've watched this video, the epoxy repair without the vacuum and the super glue one...have you noticed any issues with the touch sensitivity after repairing? Can you still see the cracks after? Lastly, does the epoxy expand at all during the curing process, and if so have you noticed any further cracking? I'm actually considering using a 5 minute epoxy to initially repair the cracks, then a clear casting epoxy to cover the screen (as opposed to getting a plastic screen protector- any opinions on that?
Epoxy a glass screen protector onto the screen, fills the gaps and adds a screen protector hard smooth surface ;)
No idea if this would work just an idea
The point was that you dont cut your thumb not that the cracks disapear
do you have a bigger bag? haha
Lol actually I do
Simply waxing the inside of the space saver bag with a little automotive paste wax a couple of times will ensure a clean release from the bag. No need to add extra material inside the bag.
Can you give a specific brand name for this? Thanks for great idea!
That is not vacuumed sealed, lol.
not bad do it better now
If you "Clean" your screen and rub Enzymes and Fat into the Glass, with your Greasy Fingers (you should use Gloves for Repairs), the Result will not look as good, as if you had used Alcohol or Screen Cleaner, like any normal Human beeing out there.
Dude take a chill pill, please.
@@larryboles629 I hope you wore gloves taking those pills.
