As a Christian, I think the creators did an excellent job in portraying God's love, holiness, glory and also His anger, which is what God had to Moses, when he questioned Him and didn't obey His commands (Exodus 4:14). Yes, God is loving and gentle, but He can be provoked to wrath and indignation, if we're not careful and take sin lightly and the creators did a fine job in showing that. The music by Hans Zimmer really elevated this scene tenfold for me. It's the closest musical expression to what I can imagine being in God's presence feels like.

I've had a moment like this. God never spoke to me but appeared in a dream as my favourite animal (a white tiger) and I was so terrified I curled up in a ball the same way Moses did. Then all of a sudden he cradled me like a parent does to comfort me and I felt instantly at peace. The crazy thing was I woke up straight after I was in the same position I was in my dream and I saw this white mist/fog float away from my body and slowly dissipate. I've given my life to Christ ever since.

That's so cool! I think it might have been a white tiger because white, spiritually, could mean pureness or stainlessness of light, the entire color spectrum which emanates out from a singular source which created all light, all frequency which our universe manifests out of. Tigers, in dreams, are very powerful symbols as well - power untamed, ferocity, energy... and you saw God this way.

When I saw God in a dream he was coming down the steps of heaven. The light was so bright behind him and I tried to kiss his feet but was unable to because he was so big. He had socks on, a robe and I couldn’t see his face since they say seeing his face will kill you. He gave me a pillow that I dropped into a abyss and he picked it up like it was nothing. It had symbols on it and one of them looked like a pentacle. The ones ancient Christian’s used to wear.

I just felt peace over me, It felt like I went to heaven and I couldnt remember anybody including my family members, its like they never existed. I could feel I was on Earth but at the same time in heaven, the body on earth was weeping even tho I didnt want to cry, it just does. Then I begged God not to return me to earth and he did because he wants me to spread the Gospel and all negativity left me and I felt like I was a child again before I was physically abused nor fell away into sin, I dont hate anyone anymore. It was like the first time I saw snow. I ran around the house saying “God is real, God is real”. This happened even before I knew who God is nor anything about Jesus. I thought he wasn’t real but he showed me he was and my life is complete. I had to surrender what I had and that was my Life to God if he reveals and so he did. I didnt want to live anymore so that was all I had. Had God not intervene I wouldnt be alive today.

When I had another dream about heaven. I was going insane staring into it with the naked eye and not spiritual. I saw the wing shadow of a top tier angel and I kept screaming make it stop. And the fact you didn’t remember family or your life says a lot. My mother is lost and completely fixated on the dead family members watching over us thing. But not in a healthy understanding way. She only mentions them and not God or Jesus. She told me to pray to them one time which I refused and made me wear a deceased relatives jacket to a job interview for “good luck.” She always mentions prayers but I don’t think she does it. But after she mentioned praying to them I am now concerned with who she is truly praying too and hope she doesn’t do it at all while lost. She feels her mom communicates with her favorite numbers or something too. And last but not least. She doesn’t believe hell exists and that it’s already on Earth. She still of course believes in heaven though. She is so lost I don’t even know how to approach her with the truth. I tried baby steps like explaining things. I even tried to explain the elite but she didn’t care since she loves political propaganda. My current last straw was a biblical movie about Apostle Paul. She fell asleep on it even though it had good conflict and story telling. She saw 2 seconds and didn’t want to watch it. Then she said go ahead and slept through most of it. I understand she was tired but I’m pretty sure afterwards she was fully awake for her political propaganda.

From the beginning of God saved Moses from the Pharaoh army who was going house to house taking infants and throwing them into the Nile River, when Moses real mother put him into a basket. God redirected the basket to Pharaohs daughter. God saved Moses for his reasons and purpose. He even saved Moses from the guards who were sent by Pharaoh after he heard Moses killed one of the slave drivers, and saved him while Moses was walking across the desert. God intentionally led Moses to the Jethro Priest of Midian. My main point God was with Moses from the beginning since his birth. Protecting him, guiding him until God told him his purpose.

The Abrahamic religions only differ from the 'norm' in that there's only a singular deity to worship, and it wasn't until after Christianity that God became so encompassing...which, of course, isn't recognized by Judaism. Whatever he says, it is. Whatever he says is done is done. For me, watching this scene, when God said "I am that I am" there was an instance of recognition, like he was familiar, and it's because he is, he created all of us. And he is, the Great I Am. I understand you. I had a very rough time in my life and when I was called back to God and Jesus, this scene ended up on my recommended videos. I feel like it was a sign from God because I had just read that part in the Bible and that night I asked Jesus for a sign. I started uncontrollably sobbing and felt so much joy and grace, I truly can not express it into words. And today I came back to it as it became my favorite movie scene. It holds so much perspective over how loving God is, and yet firm. He loves His children so much, and we should love Him too.

You see originally, God was going to be played by everyone in the cast, but it made it seem like many gods instead of one God. And then a woman and her daughter voiced God, but it made God seem to female. And so they settled with God being voiced by Kilmer while the rest of the cast whispered behind Kilmer.

    • @elnumbrotres

+Frosty videos the point of having Kilmer voice God is that God made man in his image. God still reveals to His children today! In New York in the spring of 1820, a 14-year-old poor farmboy named Joseph Smith wanted to know which Christian church to attend. He went out into the woods to pray, and was immediately attacked by an unseen demonic force. It held him bound and filled his mind with darkness. Joseph cried out for help, and the darkness was banished by God and His Son, Jesus Christ appearing to Joseph. They instructed Joseph that none of the churches were fully true and that Joseph needed to restore Christ's full gospel to the world today. That restored church is known as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. :)

If you listen closely, whenever God speaks in His normal or strong tone, you can always hear the constant whispering (echos) in the background. I think that in itself is just beautiful writting in voice acting. It's showing God's two sides at once. His soft and hard sides. Even as He's scolding Moses, he is still whispering. It's like as He doesn't want to shout because its not in Him to shout. And then He speaks softly to comfort him after knowing He scared him; even though He tried to whisper it at the same time. He's waiting for you to accept Him and come to Him with open arms in a genuine personal relationship and there's no other love ever like His since He loves you eternally and infinitely so believe in the LORD GOD KING JESUS CHRIST YESHUA HAMASHIACH, receive His HOLY SPIRIT that will dwell in you, change you, lead you, guide you, and be your absolute best friend as GOD the HOLY SPIRIT just alongside CHRIST JESUS the Son Of GOD, GOD incarnate, also finally GOD the FATHER, which those 3 together make the HOLY TRINITY the one and only true GOD. I love you but nowhere near as much as GOD. Repent by believing in the LORD GOD KING JESUS CHRIST and thou shalt be saved, and once you tell JESUS that you believe in Him and genuinely trust in Him by inviting Him into your heart, you are sealed unto the Day of Redemption and you cannot lose your salvation in CHRIST JESUS and He will help you live for Him with His HOLY SPIRIT Amen, the Rapture is the Day of Redemption also which is so extremely very soon and He does not want you or anybody to be left behind nor me nor you do.
