Love the updates, Pivi-Pro ( Excellent ), ClearSight rear view mirror, 40:20:40 split rear seats compared to the previous and archaic 60:40 unit It’s worth the classy / premium feel for slightly less range etc Only ting I’m sad about is that on the old one you could get 18” alloys, but now you start with 19” and go upto 22” I’d of thought the 18” option would be better for ride on bumpy road with the larger sidewalls and also perhaps help you eek out an extra 20 miles or so on a full charge over the larger alloys 🧐 Got mine on order and can’t wait for it to arrive in April 👍🏻👍🏻
Spot the changes in MY21: so many small details... New software is quicker response. Loss of lane hold steering. Loss of self parking. Easier catch to drop rear seats. One 12v battery rather than 2, so hopefully they have designed out the issues. JAGUAR - now in raised letters on lower door black strip. Optional TV screen rear view mirror.
Had Evie iPace 12 months now and I enjoy driving it so much that I always go the long way round! My 22" wheels look stunning and well worth the reduced range I get. Time had gone so quick, its as if I'd just collected Evie yesterday. BTW, I looked at Tesla S in 2016 but didnt even look again or even hanker after a test drive. NO intention of changing for a newer model either.
@@DriveGreen Not so good now! Cabin heater no longer works and there is a 2MONTH wait for my dealership to look at it booked in for 8th March. NO HELP IN THE MEANTIME and its winter!
We’ve had our ipace 18months now it’s reached 30thousand miles we love it but in March it started having episodes! It’s been in and out of the garage 5 times it’s still with them now and they don’t seam to no what’s wrong with it. Has anyone else had or having problems with there’s? We are getting desperate for some answers HELP
The "warp" sound is on old models as well. Can be turned on or off. The airsuspension in old model also adjusts height at speed (about 65 miles an hour)
Can it be fully switched off? I'm getting conflicting answers. Some says yes, others says it's just lowering of the volume but it's still there, or that it only for the inside etc. I would like an EV because of the silence and refinement, but if it's going to have this "video gamey" sound in a luxury car.....
Agree that is a very good looking car. Could see myself in green one. British racing green...(?) Otherwise it is very expensive here in Sweden and perhaps not the most modern in terms of charging speed, efficiency etc. Still like it!
Hallo Richard, the Polestar is a very nice car. I prefer the BMW I3s, offered one. I like your videos because you‘re very sympathetic, especially your voice. Greetings, Barbara
Why oh why is it so difficult to obtain a decent length test drive from the dealers? A one hour test drive is not long enough to evaluate the purchase of a £70K plus car. A request of "Can I borrow one for the day please", results in a reply of "It's not the dealerships policy to let cars out for more than an hour sir"! Grrr!
I find the best way around this is to go through the process of purchase, do all the paperwork, make the dealer invest his/her time with you. Show that you have the money and you are serious about a purchase......then hit them up for a full day test drive. If they even blink with hesitation, say nothing, just shrug and mutter under your breath "that's a shame" and walk over to your old vehicle, get in and get your phone out and start to google the dealership of another random car brand.
My iPace is a dream to drive, especially long road trips. Totally let down by patehtic after sales service and patronisinig dealerships that make out every issue with the car to be the customer's problems. Presently mine is sat on the drive with the heat pump blown, and Jaguar are not interested in even getting diagnostics done for 3 weeks. So sadly, I can only advise avoid buying this great car, due to the near non existent after sales service.
I had to laugh, our local EV drivers have to queue for over 4-hours for a recharge most days over the xmas period. I drove past in my v8 supercharged Jag yesterday and the line was out to the road. Idiots.
Love these videos Richard , very professional . Was lovely to meet Reece & the team today - patric
The IPace is my favourite of the ever expanding list of EV SUVs!
It is a great proposition 🙂

Great review. Ben looking for someone to explain the spec levels
If I were younger and not a pensioner I would love an I-Pace it's much better looking than any of the competition. And it's a Jag!
Best looking of the Electric SUVs! 👍
It certainly is stunning!

Great review thanks. Very informative without the waffle.

Indeed, are you a fan of it?

@@raymondting8495 Yes can be fully off
I think this review sums up the i pace, I have had mine for well over 2 years, brilliant car in all respects.
Thank you and congratulations on 2 years ownership! Was this your first EV?
@@DriveGreen it was but only looking at reviews although limited at the time, my mine was made up after trying one .

Thank you for your kind words, the I3S is one of our all time favourite EVs!
Fun and great car 👊
Absolutely is 🙂

Jardine Jaguar will do a 24 hour test drive of one. Was very useful before we got ours.

Nice to see that Jaguar fit premium quality leather in their electric cars unlike their competitors who fit the fake stuff
The interior is fabulous 👌🏻

Do your research first. Evs dont have start stop cause it doesn’t have an engine
