    @2:30 Just a wee reminder - battery size is kilowatt-hours, not kilowatts.
    Kilowatts is how fast the tap runs; kilowatt hours is how big the bathtub is.

    It doesn't only compete against Tesla but it also goes against the German luxury SUV's. A BMW X series with this much acceleration would cost over $80,000. Although it would still beat the Jag in it's top speed.

    Not sure if this is blowing smoke up Jaguar's arse, you really dislike Tesla, or you're just clickbaiting (probably some of each), but let's check some of those facts. I'll use the Model S 75D because it's closest in price to the i-Pace, and therefore a more "fair" comparison than the P100D.
    * Top speed: 124MPH - Model S and X have a top speed of 155MPH, even the Model 3 has a top speed of 140MPH
    * 0-60 in 4.5sec - Base Model S 75D does 0-60 in 4.2 sec. (In fairness, that is quicker than the base Model X at 4.9sec, but you keep comparing it to the Model S, not the X)
    * 394HP/512LbFt torque - 75D is 518HP, 485LbFt.
    * 1000A output, 450A regen: These numbers are meaningless w/o knowing the voltage of the battery. (These things are properly measured in kWh.) But the HP/torque numbers-and corresponding 0-60 time-are lower than the base 75D, so the kWh output will be higher on the Tesla unless the Jag is hugely inefficient. (Why even quote these numbers?)
    * AWD: of course, all Model S and Model X are AWD, too.
    * 40 minute to get 80% charge: Same as Tesla, except where are you actually going to find a DC fast charger to plug into, at least in the US? Tesla's Supercharger network is the only reliable fast charging network around.
    The fair points:
    * It will go on the track. (But with a top speed of 124MPH? Seriously?!? Note that the Model 3 does better on the track than the S & X, and almost certainly will do better than the i-Pace, too.)
    * It's "approved" for off-road. Lots of Tesla owners have taken their vehicles on dirt roads, I haven't heard one instance of warranty coverage being denied. But it *IS* still listed as a deal-breaker in Tesla's warranty, which is lame.
    * Rear controls for climate.
    Pretty much everything else is a matter of personal preference.
    The specs on the i-Pace are closest to the non-performance AWD Model 3 (which will be about $10K less, but is a completely different type of vehicle).
    Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great entry in the EV space, and people looking at a base Model X will probably seriously look at the i-Pace, too. (More importantly, people looking at other ICE mid-side luxury SUVs should look at this!)
    I just hope you can turn off the insipid fake engine noise.

      M scott.. ok man i just want to reply to you (not hate or anything) just hear me a bit : do any Tesla have a pre-heated battery pack ? those are also sealed water-proof ? why? will you ask me but this is very important specially for European climate because the pre-heated battery feature help the car in winter under cold freezing temperatures, some people from Norway, Sweeden, Finland owners of Tesla posted clips on UA-cam with S and X models stuck to wait for the tow truck on the side of the roads in heavy cold winters because the battery pack is not pre-heated or heated in any way at all during the cold winter period, so the battery would drained (empty faster) to try focus to use all the energy for the propulsion, not to mention the struggle for other heat options like defrosted windscreen, heat blowers in the cabin and also for the electronics in the car.. and because the battery pack is not sealed properly since many different Tesla models start to be seen more often to Co-Parts junkyards because battery pack is not sealed properly water flooded inside the battery pack get a short cut which affect the entire electric system in the car and that will cost allot to be replaced. Tesla won't do it usually in such cases the owners calls they detect the issue release documentation and delete the car from up-date program that means the car can be scrapped destroyed or by the opportunist junkers used it to sell under auctions for parts (if Tesla would try to fix it.. they would charge you expensive amount money see on youtube - 'rich rebuilds channel' because on such cases it need to be replace entire electric circuits and all affected electrical components systems + a new battery pack).. so anyway is also pretty annoying each time when you want to do something quick in Tesla you must look at the stupid big screen to search in the many different options adjustments to find certain settings, that should be no problem in the i-pace since it have 3 smaller screens very easy to be read and some simple to use controls common placed for natural and simplistic use, overall i-pace is more balanced is not small like Tesla 3, it is not lower like S and can do a bit off-road but is not as big expensive as some X models.. is kinda in the middle, incorporate many cool stuff in a decent size vehicle.. regarding charging points you right but remember that for Tesla 3 you do not have free supercharging so, anyway in US Tesla obviously rules but across Europe i think this i-pace is worth to be considered since many auto brands started from last year (after the diesel-gate scandal) joined forces in partnership to conceive a form to support building charging points stations for EV vehicles with a certain support from all-EU governments of the countries of Europe that means each country is required by EU committee to help build strategical placed in all key points for each country a certain amount of charging stations depending how big each country is also depending of relief and the available infrastructure, in such way so that allow EV cars owners to travel from West to East of Europe without any worry that can not find charging stations.. (now i will tell you that i live in Croatia and i think it was in 2009-2010 a man from Holland (i think it was a doctor ..) did get a Tesla Roadster first model and i think he was on holiday or something but it actually did that kind of journey with his Tesla Roadster, he went from Holland -Germany-Austria-Slovenia-Croatia-Montenegro-Serbia-Bulgaria-Turkey and then to Cyprus island and back i know since he returned back and i met him on both ways he stopped a day in Croatia), but remember back then Tesla didn't have to many superchargers across all Europe just few on West but so he did it..) hey man, look this is my opinion if you happen to be an Tesla owner in USA be happy with your car.. here in Europe to put now an deposit and order for a Tesla 3 can take more than 1,5 years if not more to actually get the car and with no financial support from govern for any Tesla products is really hard to reach to them here in Europe, a Jaguar i-Pace in basic version cost in my country 65.000 euro but with govern support for clean green vehicles, if you also destroy an old car for example you get a discount voucher that is a cut off from the overall price, also get a start bonus insurance for registering a new clean vehicle and other bonuses deductions the i-Pace price dropped to 46,500 euro and wait no more than 2 months to get the car.. (and that is a price and a time delivery i can actually live with) so now i hope you see with different eyes based on these arguments, why for different parts of this world this new electric vehicle can be better than Tesla. ;0)

    • @mscott7307
      @mscott7307 6 років тому +3

      Well, you bring up points that mostly weren't addressed in this review, which was what I was responding to. But I'm happy to address your points, too.
      Yes, Teslas have battery heaters, and from the videos I've seen, the i-Pace works pretty much the same way as Teslas have for at least the last 6 months. (Thanks to a software update last winter.) When you pre-condition the cabin (i.e., turning on the heat from the app), it will also warm the battery if it's very cold. It won't, however, warm the battery if the car is not plugged in and the battery is below a certain SOC (20% maybe?). After all, it doesn't do you a lot of good to burn the rest of your battery heating it. I have seen nothing that suggests Jaguar has done a better job at managing battery temperature than Tesla does. (And there is even a dedicated battery pre-heat feature on the P100D but that's for getting the most power out of the battery for launching, not for cold-weather.)
      I don't know exactly how well sealed Tesla's batteries are, but they certainly aren't "unsealed." There are some pretty impressive videos of Teslas driving through deep water, just search "tesla driving through water" on UA-cam. I honestly don't know how the two compare.
      Regarding the touch screen, I think that's a matter of personal taste. I think Tesla has done a great job of making the stuff you need while driving readily available. But it can be annoying to use a touch screen while driving on a bumpy road, so I get that physical buttons might be preferred by some.
      As for charging infrastructure, non-Tesla charging stations are clearly being built in Europe much faster than they are in the US, so that will make less of a difference to potential EV purchasers in Europe than it will in the US. But one of the biggest areas of push-back from people not already used to an EV is the charging time and ease of locating charging while traveling long distances. Early adopters (like your Roaster owner example) will deal with the extra hassle because it's part of being a trailblazer. But the mass market certainly won't. The USA is also a lot larger that Europe geographically, and has very large, rural areas with limited infrastructure that won't see significant public charging for the better part of a decade. (A town with only one gas station is not likely to see a fast charging station anytime soon. But unlike in Europe, small towns in the US west are often 40+ miles apart, with nothing but farmland in between. )
      I agree that the i-Pace is a very different vehicle than any that Tesla currently offers. I was calling out the reviewers for their Tesla comparisons, which were questionable at best. I'm not dis'ing the i-Pace at all (other than the fake engine sounds ;-). I think it's a promising new EV that fits in between the Model 3 and Model S/X. I'm sure Jaguar will sell all they can make. I am not trying to say that the i-Pace is a bad EV, or even that Teslas are better. It was the premise of this review that was trying to make some dubious points so they could put "Tesla" in the title and get a lot more clicks. But it's pretty obvious that Jaguar has a great vehicle here, and I'm very pleased for that. Personally, I'd still buy a Tesla because I live in the US and that charging network matters, and I love the clutter (button)-free interior. The price difference between the i-Pace and Model S 75D is not going to be a significant factor for people who can afford these cars, so I think these cars' features will drive their purchasing decisions. I hope that lots of people pick the i-Pace, it seems like worthy vehicle. (I also hope Porsche sells a ton of Taycans, another very promising new EV.)

    • @poplaurentiu4148
      @poplaurentiu4148 6 років тому

      i was responded to you since you did pointed some strong facts and because i 'm in the interest to purchase such vehicle in near future but i'm not in urgent need since now is the re-birth of EV sector many other brands started to show new ideas, new concepts and for instance i also seen the latest i.D. concepts from Volkswagen since they learn a harsh lesson and want to re-gain the brand image after massive diesel-gate scandal.. anyway interest on such cars is still rising so i think this sector will grow quick in 1-2 year top.. so i will check them out prospecting the best convenient deal to replace my wife car.. so i just stated what facts i hear about so far and i hope to see better stuff, attractive offers and more diverse products, you know the market is big, so the offer should fit each budget.. i guess we will find out latter what model will really worth by the volumes of the sells too.. ;0)

      The artificial engine noise only defaults to 'on' in Dynamic mode, and can be switched off even in Dynamic mode.
      Supposedly the 200kmh/124mph top speed is electronically limited, down from 250kmh/155mph, due to the drop in range at high velocities. Personally, I seldom go on roads with a limit higher than 124mph - on British roads, if you are caught at 100mph or faster, you instantly lose your driving licence. Where the speed limits are higher, range is teh probem. The big-battery Model X uses 390 Watts/mi at an average of 48mph. I do not know how much higher the consumption is above 1204mph - but it will be a lot.
      About chargers, a couple of months ago, there were no CCS public chargers in the USA above 75kW (although over 1,100 locations had 50kW CCS rapid chargers).
      Today, there are a dozen 350kW chargers, and another dozen 150kW chargers, live in the US. The number is small now, but the roll-out has begun, and will accelerate. And, it's worth noting, that all of these chargers are faster than the fastest-available Superchargers. And Superchargers themselves only produce their peak speed if you get two stalls all to yourself.

    Test drove Jaguar today and I was impressed. Beautiful dashboard and interior. Apple Carplay. It has a
    soul, unlike Tesla. But no sunroof, no spare tire, no runflat tire.
    I hated Tesla 3's aggressive regenerative braking (felt like I slammed on the brakes), plain dashboard, and
    poor ergonomics screen.
    Both EVs have great acceleration but ride comfort was much stiffer (hard) compared to luxury sedan
    combustion engines from Mercedes and Lexus.

    The i-Pace is a superb looking car. However I can drive from my house in Manchester to my parents in Portugal seamlessly in my Model S because of the 120 kW Supercharger network. It's not really any slower than doing it in a petrol car. Until they get a 100 kW + powered CCS charging network in place which is expansive as the Tesla one you're going to have to accept some compromise, believe me waiting 2+ hours for completely flat car to charge of a 50 kW is an inconvenience.

      i also read on official Jaguar site that on cold winters (low temperature) the i-Pace battery pack is pre-heated before the car actually can be operated, that is very good news a Tesla do not have that (not even as optional feature) as i watched many owners from Norway who brought S and X and complained this because they got stuck because the battery worked harder and drained quicker in freezing cold temperatures, this feature also keep the life of battery pack longer than without it.. so all such small facts counts when it's time to change the normal vehicle to swap it to an full EV..

It has to be better than the likes of Teslas...Model S owners with mileage past 75K were having 80% of those vehicles having had entire powertrains replaced, at least once...some multiple times. So far those were done within warranty limits. Well, are internal combustion engined-cars (ICEs) reliable in the long run?
      These cars have fewer moving parts, less of the car needs routine servicing.
      Things like the suspension and the driveshaft gaiters will be just like an ICE - but the drivetrain will need radically less routine servicing - e.g. no more needing a new cambelt every 5 years. Basically engine and gearbox issues have gone, and motor, control electronics and battery pack is likely to be more reliable than an engine, gearbox and its control electronics.

      @peglor 6 років тому

      The average consumer doesn't have $80 000 to spend on a car or the money to keep one of these running in 5 years time when second hand ones will be affordable. One of the reasons Tesla owners haven't class action law suited the company is because most of their customers already own more than one car, so it's no big deal when it dies.

  • @arubinst
    @arubinst 6 років тому +8

    You lost me right there, when you said that driving a Tesla off-road will void your warranty. It is not true. On a Model S, damages produced by off-road use are not covered (this is not the same as voiding). And the Model X (which is being positioned by Jaguar as the direct competitor for the i-Pace) does not have this limitation.

    • @poplaurentiu4148
      @poplaurentiu4148 6 років тому +5

      On official Tesla site it say that Tesla will void the warranty of the battery pack if the owner drive thru water and if they suspect that ( of course after an inspection )they will proceed to one of 2 things next depending on the agreement with the owners : erase the vehicle from data base of Tesla that means the vehicle will not receive any more up-dates and warranty of the car +battery is voided in this case since the owner did not respect the rule,because the electric system and battery are not water proof and it say on Tesla official site that warranty is voided if the owner drive in water with Tesla car ( so if the battery need to be replaced that is the easy part but still cost the owner a new battery which is quite few grands and replacing costs are supported entirely by owner since was his fault now the hard part is if the entire electric system on the car need to be replaced too, still because the owners fault it will be not covered by Tesla but it need to be made by Tesla authorized service in order to be recognized and re-introduced on the Tesla up-date program and then the vehicle will get back again on the rest of the initial warranty left, but the man labors hours spend on service and all the new replacement parts and all of that operation costs is fully and entirely supported by the owner again and trust me that will cost allot to change the entire electric system on the car because owner stupidly did not care and drive the car thru water on it's own risk.

      Tesla Official - Users manual of each specific model.. (Warranty of vehicle, Warranty of Battery pack) + I knew 2 real cases when owners did it, one of them the car was with very low mileage almost brand new and to get to work he must drive his car thru a flooded section of a road under a bridge that got flooded during a heavy rain but that was unfortunately the only way to get on highway in order to get to work daily.. so yeah the car eventually stop worked properly the owner called Tesla center and from there you must choose one of 2 options: expensive repairs fully supported by the owner or salvage yards for parts..

    • @greennewdeal5539
      @greennewdeal5539 6 років тому

      *"Tesla Official - Users manual of each specific model.. (Warranty of vehicle, Warranty of Battery pack)"* ~Pop Laurentiu~
      I just looked at the European and US Owner's Manual of the Model S. I don't see any mention of any of the claims you've made. Could you provide a link and the page number where this information is?
      *" I knew 2 real cases when owners did it"*
      AGAIN, everything he experienced falls under "damages from misuse are not covered." Not covering certain circumstances on a warranty and voiding a warranty for frivolous reasons are not the same thing.
      If you drive an ICE car in water and you blow a hole in your engine, Ford, Toyota, Honda, VW, Jaguar etc. aren't going to replace your engine for free. ie. That's not *covered* by the warranty. That's not the same as Ford, Toyota etc... refusing to fix manufacturer defects just because you drove through a big puddle that caused zero damage. And your claim that Tesla won't allow owners to update their car just because they drove through water is bizarre. That may be the case for a car with a salvage title, but that's a whole different situation.

    1: Slower 0-60 (Then P100D)
    2: Lower top speed (Then any S X or 3)
    3: Hardly cheaper (Then a model S or X)
    4: Less efficient (90KW battery has the same range as the model X with a 75KW battery)
    5: Less Horsepower (394 vs 518 in a model x 75D base model)
    6: Smaller Trunk and Frunk
    7 Slower charging (40min to 80% vs 30 min to 80%)

      Please spec which Tesla you are talking about, realistically there 3 versions of each of the three Tesla models.
      The model 3 performance model doesn't go off-road, but it is cheaper and does 0-60 in about 3.2 seconds.
      If you are a small business owner in the United States the effective cost of the Tesla Model X extended range is the same as the iPace because the Model X with gets an extra $22k in tax savings because of a quirk in the US tax law and vehicle weight. (The Model X is heavy enough it counts as a commercial truck according to the tax code instead of a passenger vehicle, and has much higher tax allowances for businesses that purchase it)

  • @davidhood9712
    @davidhood9712 6 років тому +5

    It doesn’t compete with the model X because:
    -no Supercharging network
    -no updates to the infotainment
    -no updates to the car itself (good luck with recalls)
    -it’s not a seven seater (model Y will have a more similar size)
    -it doesn’t feature autopilot (currently not great, but UPDATES)
    -Jaguar makes the ipace for money, not the world
    -Jaguar just copies Tesla, resulting in them being a few YEARS behind
    -Jaguar has to buy batteries from Panasonic at massive markups, resulting in higher prices
    -Do you really want fake engine noises and a massive grill?
    -The car really isn’t very efficient (the model 3 with a 75KWH battery can go farther, at a lower price.
    Oh, and how do you buy the ipace? You go to a crappy little dealer that profits on making the car more expensive for you to buy.
    In addition to this, they wouldn’t want to sell the ipace because it also profits on overpriced repairs. So, there are 2 possibilities: the first is that you can buy the ipace BECAUSE it is terribly un reliable, or you CAN’T buy it because it is too reliable.
    I’ll stick with a model Y.

      - CCS network instead. (~ 8,000 chargers worldwide, including 350kW, 175kW and 150kW per car)
      - Yes, it has OTA updates.
      - Like the Teslas, it has adaptive cruise, lane sensing, and lane-keeping assist with self-steer, with sensing by cameras and radar.
      - Jaguar is using their own money to build it, not other people's money. Tesla plans to be making money later this year. (It had hoped to be making money already, but the Model 3 production didn't allow that, so they are down about $5billion US currently)
      - If Jag just copied Tesla, they'd be using different batteries, different motors, and we wouldn;t have lots of people saying "You can't compare it to an S/X/3 - it's too different!"
      - The Teslas don't have officially certified WLTP ranges yet, and the i-Pace doesn't have an officially-certified EPA range yet. It's hard to compare the efficiencies atm.
      - some people have already bought their i-Pace.
      - I expect the Model Y won't make it to US customers before 2021, and to European markets in RHD before 2024. Some people might be on their third i-Pace by then.

Quiet operation is another bonus when off-road. I guess the next move is for their cousin Land Rover to adopt some or most of the drivetrain. This could be the first reliable Jaguar and later the first reliable Land Rover. Who'd have thunk it!

With no air intake apart from for the passenger vents, I wonder what the fording depth on it is.

      Jaguar showed a concept all electric car years using a motor for each wheel (Which is a much better way to do things than the brake assisted 'torque vectoring' available in just about all cars with electronic stability control) before Tesla even existed. At the time Jaguar's reliability and cost of ownership was so bad it makes current Teslas look good though. Jaguar seem to have got somewhat better since Ford explained what quality control meant while they owned them. Still astronomical money for what looks like very little interior space compared to my Skoda estate.

    Is it better well that's subjective. However I can tell you this, it will be seen as the better buy for many in the market for an electric crossover. Now before I go further, let's get one thing out of the way. This market for an all electric vehicle is a niche, and will likely not be the mainstream power train. I say this because while media attention is all eyes on electric. I see Diesel and Gasoline improving everyday in terms of performance and cleanliness. So what does this mean? It means I see the power train as part of the puzzle for tomorrow's market. Which means the need for a supercharger network isn't necessary for sales. People would buy according to their needs, and a luxury car that can drive around town. Then take you to the airport when you leave town. Will work well for many urban dwellers. Now for acceleration and top speed, this is not a hypercar. Chances are most people aren't going to see this as a deal breaker. What they will see as one, is how impracticable the Tesla is. Everything is run by touch screen like an I-phone. Mean-while Jaguar mixes analog and digital controls. Resulting in a more user friendly interface. Tesla is also known for having many mechanical and structural flaws. Jaguar while not perfect, has no where near the quality issues reported with Tesla. Don't take my word for it? Then Consumer Reports will tell you all about it. Tesla under Musk has relied on media hype. He has marketed his brand well, but as more companies fill in the EV market. His company is going to face a lot of trouble. Sound familiar? Well, this scenario is unfolding right now with diesel's. Volkswagen screwed up, now they are out of the game as cleaner products fill the market. In comparison, I would say the I-pace is a win for the consumer. Plus I could go into detail about how much better built the power train is compared to the Tesla. Jaguar did their homework, and have put out a very capable vehicle. Tesla has very defensive fans, but I think this car is the clear winner.

    So why didn't you tell people there are no high speed chargers for this vehicle in North America that will actually let you travel long distance in a timely fashion????? The Ipace currently can only charge at a max rate of 50 kw. Sure, it may someday charge at a max rate of 100 kw, if they actually build faster chargers. Tesla is charging at a max rate of 120 kw TODAY. So let's put that into perspective. You will take almost three times a long to charge your Ipace than a Tesla. Oh and it has shorter range between charges as well. Otherwise, it's a great car Im sure. Though Im not sure why it's limited to 124mph. That seems odd when a Tesla will do 130 on the base Model 3 and the S and X are governed to 155mph. I don't really care about the top speed, but unless you can charge quickly on a road trip, the car is useless to me. Im sure it's fine for most people though.

      Nice that someone actually mentioned a real and practical difference between the electric vehicles. This is Tesla's edge over all other car manufacturers for at least the next 3 years. As well, I find it interesting that I haven't heard any comparisons to the manufacturer's ICE versions in any i-pace review. I think this is where prospective buyers will be making a shift.

      @riggald9864 6 років тому

      There are 350kW-per car and 150kW-per-car chargers live in the USA TODAY. The key question is, how fast will the i-Pace charge from them. When it uses a 50kW charger, it supposedly charges at the full 50kW all the way to 80%.. I'm looking forward to seeing the charge taper graphs once they are available.

    • @thelongdaysofwheeling124

    • @riggald9864
      @riggald9864 6 років тому

      In Europe, there is a corridor from Berlin to Munich of 350kW chargers.
      In the USA, ElectrifyAmerica has a map of their live locations at electrifyamerica.com, under the locations tab. When last I checked, a new location was going live about once a week, with about a dozen 350kW chargers and a dozen 150kW chargers live, spread over 4 locations.

    • @thelongdaysofwheeling124
      @thelongdaysofwheeling124 6 років тому

      They have 4 locations up and running at this time. One is Mass, two in VA and one in Mississippi. So yeah, that's currently useless. Hopefully there ambition is real.

    • @erikstephens34
      @erikstephens34 6 років тому

      In the US Electrify America has a number of 150KW and 350KW stations that can certainly max out the I-pace capabilities. By the end of next summer Electrify America will have nearly 2000 stations operational. In Europe there are a number of 100KW and now depending on country 350KW stations. So I'm not sure why Jaguar would spend billions to join the slower supercharger network.

    • @erikstephens34
      @erikstephens34 6 років тому

      Electrify America is only one of many 3rd parties. Why would Jaguar spend billions on a network that in many places of the world where the I-pace is sold won't benefit them.

And damn considering Tesla will void warranty of the vehicle if are driven off-road this iPace Jag could be a real stealing bargain.. ;0)

    • @MicheasHerman
      @MicheasHerman 5 років тому +2

      The iPace is a direct competitor with the not yet shipping midrange model Y. So, your choices are to wait for a model Y or buy an iPace today.
      If you want a Minivan/large SUV type car the X is a vastly better choice, if you want a full-sized sedan the S is a better choice. If you want a sports car, the 3 is a much better choice. If you want a small luxury crossover the iPace the only shipping option. And it seems like a reasonable enough option. It will be interesting to see how the model Y compares against it.

    Roman, how tall are you? I am 6' 4", and I am curious about that back-seat headroom and legroom. On paper, the back-seat legroom of the I-Pace is bafflingly disappointing to me, at only 35". This is less than the stated rear legroom of the Tesla Model 3 (35.2") and Range Rover Evoque (36.4"), and way less than the Honda CR-V (40.4"). With Jaguar's talk about having been able to move the passenger cabin forward, and the rear wheels back, I expected a bit more space in the back. You *looked* like you had a fair amount of space, but without knowing how tall you are, it's hard to figure out what that means to me.

    • @Jottorice
      @Jottorice 6 років тому

      I pinged TFLCar.com and Mike replied that Roman is about 6' 2", so at 6' 4", the back seat of the I-Pace would probably be somewhat of a tight fit for me, if someone similarly tall was in front - both in legroom and headroom. Still, it's probably do-able.
