Building a Workbench Skatepark in my Garage

- Today, we'll build a large workbench in my new garage with some extra features, including bike parking, a storage area, and a BMX ramp. As ridiculous as it sounds, I can fit a ton of stuff under those ramps!
Also, being able to walk up on top of the benches allows for access to the wall space above, which would otherwise be wasted. Anyway, enjoy this project!

Notes: The benches appear to be unleveled in certain parts of the video, and indeed some of the wood was warped. Suggestion: add lockable industrial caster wheels to your benches so you can reconfigure things ??

I worked at a skatepark for eight years before it closed down. We had a very similar setup (just bigger) and it was one of the favorite features. This really gave me the feels as you ride it just like our used to be riden.

Nice job Seth. I had a blast building new work benches when we moved a few years ago. Here's a hack for you, i put everything on heavy lockable caster wheels from HD. Makes it easier to do a proper clean from time to time and customize your layout for projects.

You should use pulleys to hold bikes and other stuff to the ceiling. That way you don't have to climb up.

his creativity is mind blowing!
I like Seth for the quality, versatility and humor of his content. But I love him for his "This might be a mistake and could go terribly wrong but let's try it anyway at least I will learn something" mindset. The will to take risks and look ridiculous by doing so is a great strength often overlooked.

at first you were spinning super hard to make the rotation but once you got better you got more air and slowed it down and just need to nail perfect angle. Nothing better 👍
