The main problem with the michael bay transformer movies was, there was zero balance, they put way to much emphasis on the human characters and the robots took a back seat in there own movie.
They ain't adding silver maybe sonic 4, but silver wouldn't make any sense it's about shadow. They could fit Amy and Rouge and maybe Omega but silver won't fit

My dream plot scenario would Sonic and Shadow starting off as rivals, but then teaming up in the third act against Metal Sonic as the main antagonist. Sort of like a Godzilla vs Kong scenario, but we'll see! Excited for the movie either way

I dunno, I think Chaos would make for a better movie. Silver hails from possibly the worst piece of media in the entire franchise of Sonic (Sonic 06). That isnt to say it cant be salvaged, but going into it they would have to somehow overcome the taint of that game's association
