So easy to say when you have not had this "White" image used against you as white people used it to enslave and kill millions!!!!! Your ignorance is absolutely ASTOUNDING!!!!!!!!!
He's the One I love in the morning, He's the One I love at noon,He's the One I love in the afternoon. He's the One I love at midnight. He's the TRUE VINE, I am a branch. He's the Potter, I am the clay...So no matter what color or nationality...I'm 65 years old and He is my Saviour, Redeemer, my LORD and my God and everyday I love Him more and more...May peace be with everyone till He returns 🙏 ❤❤
One day in passing by the place of Siloe, where there was a great concourse of people, I observed in the midst of the group a young man who was leaning against a tree, calmly addressing the multitude. I was told it was Jesus. This I could easily have suspected, so great was the difference between him and those listening to him. His golden-colored hair and beard gave him the appearance of a celestial aspect. He appeared to be about thirty years old. Never have I seen a sweeter or more serene countenance. What a contrast between him and his hearers, with their black beards and tawny completion! Historic Letter written by Pontius Pilate to Tiberius Caesar
The only physical description we have of Lord Jesus is Pontius Pilate's written report to Ceasar. He described him as a tall man with golden brown hair who absolutely stood out from the darker complected jews. Stop debasing the history we DO have because you don't like it, or it doesn't fit your narrative. Quis Ut Deus
Colour descriptions are very nebulous, fogy. Because what is concidered brown in many parts of Europe is blond in other parts of the world. And black in Europe brown elsewhere. Same for skin colour.
A perfect description of " His likeness " for pseudo Eurocentrism to infiltrate Christianity as well and more recently, pseudo Afrocentrism is attempting the same evil, unfortunately)
That description of " Jesus' likeness " was excellent for pseudo Eurocentrism' entrance into Christianity. Sadly, pseudo Afrocentrism Is currently responding with the same wrong.
For the people who are worried about what color he was. I fear for you. Jesus made it clear to love each other despite what color you are. It says to love thy neighbor. It doesn't mention unless thy neighbor is a different color than you. Stop the ignorance pushed by the government to keep us divided and more controllable.
That's not the point. Nothing wrong in being honest and saying how it is. Jesus was Jewish. Let's not pretend otherwise in the name of political correctness and inclusivity.
People who saw Jesus said he was blue eyed, brown hair w sun hi lights, white or olive skinned, tall. Who knows what tall was back then? Josephus wrote about him
There are no descriptions of Jesus appearance except a fraudulent letter written hundreds of years later. (And Revelation depicting him as an angelic light-being after his ascension.) Here is a comment on it's authenticity: The letter attributed to Pontius Pilate about Jesus is widely considered a forgery for several reasons: Lack of Historical Evidence: There is no contemporary historical evidence that such a letter existed. None of the early Christian writers or historians mention it, and it doesn't appear in any ancient records. Language and Style: The language and style of the letter do not match what would be expected from a Roman governor in the first century. It often uses anachronistic terms and concepts that would not have been familiar or relevant to Pilate's time and place. Historical Inconsistencies: The letter contains numerous historical inaccuracies and anachronisms. It often reflects a much later understanding of events and concepts rather than a first-century Roman perspective. Purpose and Context: Many such letters were created during the medieval period to support theological arguments or to add credibility to Christian claims. These letters often aimed to provide external validation for the events described in the New Testament, which was a common practice in medieval Christian literature. Lack of Corroboration: Other contemporary Roman documents and Jewish historical records, such as those by Josephus and Tacitus, make no mention of such a letter. Their accounts of Jesus and Pilate do not align with the content of the purported letter. Motivations for Forgery: Understanding the motivations behind creating such forgeries helps in recognizing them. During the medieval period, producing documents that seemed to provide historical validation for religious claims was a way to strengthen faith and authority. Given these points, scholars have determined that the letter is not authentic and does not originate from the time of Pilate or the early Christian period.
I’m torn between 2. The image with the Alpha and Omega and the one carrying the sheep. When you first showed the one with the sheep, it popped into my head it looked like David! That could be accurate as Jesus was a descendant of David. The other one, well, Jews are slightly darker of skin; like perhaps a deep tan. The curly hair seems more natural. He was an Israeli after all. My own personal theory is 2-fold. One, Peter tells us we will see Him as He truly is. And 2, we’ll all see Him differently. Jesus holds the entirety of the universe inside Himself. So, looking how everyone sees Him differently is no great stretch for Him. However He looks, He is my Savior and I love Him!
Go back to The Scriptures and test. His beard was ripped out during His trial with The Pharisees. Every culture that has accepted Him as Savior has painted Him in that cultures image. Whether right or wrong I don't know. It could be man's vanity or a reflection of Him being all of our Savior. I personally think The Shroud of Turin is the oldest image. But like many have said it makes zero difference to me what He looks like. I am Live Him for Who and What He is.
I believe the Shroud of Turin to be authentic. It depicts the general characteristics of his facial features and hair and beard. No matter, after his resurrection he appeared in a new body, which was not immediately recognized by even his close disciples. I like to believe the description written by Publius Lentulus, Governor of Judea, addressed to Tiberius Caesar, Emperor of Rome. Found in an excavated city written in Aramaic on stone. "He is a tall man, and well shaped, of an amiable and reverend aspect; his hair of a color that can hardly be matched, the color of chestnut full ripe, falling in waves about his shoulders. His forehead high, large and imposing; his cheeks without spot or wrinkle, beautiful with a lovely red; his nose an mouth formed with exquisite symmetry; his beard thick and of a color of his hair reaching below his chin. His eyes bright blue, clear and serene, look innocent, dignified, manly, and mature. In proportion of body, most perfect and captivating, his hands and arms most delectable to behold." Is this a true and accurate description of Jesus? Who would know? But undoubtedly he was perfection in body, mind, and Spirit. We take our belief in Jesus Christ as a matter of faith; but truly his most important aspect was his all encompassing love for mankind.
I am in agreement. The letter is amazing, and the image on the Shroud of Turin is, I believe, the actual image of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Amen.
The shroud is the image of Jesus. Oc course there would be no color to indicate skin tone. Eyes shut no idea of that color. All this is a moot point. My belief is in all he has done for us! My faith is not based on his looks. It is just a devise way Satan has to divide people and destroy all he can
Jesus was not black or middle eastern looking. In Pilate’s letter it was metioned he had gold hair so light. I dislike these assumptions made from scholars and pass it as fact. They don’t know. I am from southern Italy yet I am blond with green eyes. So ppl would assume I should be dark. So take with a grain of sakt what scholars assume. That pisses me off!

Yeshua appeared to me in 1965 standing on my right breifly to tell me to remember that He loved me first and then disapeared. He is a tall white man with medium length brown hair and beautiful nlue eyes.
as a born again holy ghost filled Christian i feel it is irrelevant what he looked like what matters is what he came to do and all he want though for us it so silly to waste so much time fighting over things like this
According to Christian theology and biblical accounts, when Jesus gave the Holy Spirit to his disciples, it endowed them with various spiritual gifts, including the ability to heal and forgive sins. This is supported by several passages in the New Testament: Healing: In the Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles, there are numerous accounts of the disciples performing healings after receiving the Holy Spirit. For example, in Acts 3:1-10, Peter heals a lame beggar at the temple gate. Forgiveness of Sins: In John 20:21-23, Jesus breathes on the disciples and says, "Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone's sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven." This passage is interpreted by many Christians as granting the disciples the authority to forgive sins, a power derived from the Holy Spirit. Thus, the impartation of the Holy Spirit by Jesus is seen as conferring upon the disciples the power to perform miraculous healings and to forgive sins, among other spiritual gifts.
He was Jewish, different from middle easters, the Jewish are very European looking since Esau the red haired twin of Jacob the father of all Jews! Stop your madness, Jeeish according to the Bible and historical data and nowadays Jews are very white with blue eyes and many times with red hair!
There are people of many ethnicities with red hair because it comes from a very strong gene. Israel itself has always been in that crossroads area between Europe, Asia and Africa. That area has always been subject to different ' skin tones ' etc. and naturally those skin tones etc. were more similar to the countries which are closer to each of those three continents. (Abraham was from Ur and the location of Ur was more to the South and much more the East of Israel)
Imagine being so hung up on Christ's complexion & hair colour, and yet still claiming to be a Christian? Be more concerned with His message & sacrifice than on the former points.
Evil will do anything to devise and entangle its victims to control them !!! Fact is an image of Christ is not needed in any way. Faith does not require such !!!!
We know exactly what Jesus looked like. We know his height, his build, his hairstyle and every feature of his face and body in 3D. We even know his blood type, unless you want to push that completely debunked story that the Shroud f Turin is a fake. Jesus performed miracle after miracle and that one still exists.
I've been to Rome and the Holy lands in the summer and no one their was dark period!! I was a slight less tanned being summer as a Polish man. Common sense...
Where do you think the Europeans came from when they were pushed/ chased through the Caucasus Mountains? That is where the supposed "Lost 10 Tribes went"! 1st to Syria and Armenia and Parthia, and Babylon (Iraq). Then they went through the "Pass of Israel" (The Dariel Gorge), then back Ukraine and into Europe. Welcome the Alans, the Celts, the Saxons, the Teutons, the Cymerrians, etc.
It doesn't matter what he looked like, God and Jesus said no engraven images. So how he looked is immaterial. However, he was Jewish, and they were God's chosen. But God also said he could raise a son of David from a stone, but he chose Mary, a young Jewish woman, to birth his Son. He wasn't white, black or yellow. Most likely, he was brown (especially where exposed to sunlight); and strong as he was a carpenter. Average height with dark hair and eyes. What people need to realize is even if the Jews look European today, back then, his looks would have been more traditional.
I wish I could post a picture of a man's face in the sky that stayed there hours. My daughter took. She said she felt like someone was watching her she looks up and a huge face. A kind face. Truthfully I put the face next to the death wrap and one has closed eyes and the man in the sky had open eyes. The picture looks like Jesus. Definitely not what I thought he would look like. It's a undeniable face with definition. Also it looks like he has his hand up and holding either a blue box or the earth. It's hard to say the shape. I'm going to say earth. You can see his fingers holding an object. It's crazy detailed.
Nonsense; Jesus was from the root of Jesse a direct descendant of David; he was the creation of God therefore made perfect without blemish. He was not black or white. but of a Middle Eastern origin hence a olive complexion. But no matter what his appearance may be he was the Son of God and his color has nothing to do with his message.
I'm inclined to consider the the Shroud of Turin and the Sudarium of Oviedo very strongly in the search for what Jesus looked like. However, I care not what He looked like other than curiosity for His earthly appearance is secondary to His divinity.
Jesus was from the Middle East...great...but he was the SON OF GOD. He could look like any way HIS Father chose. Come to that understanding, before contriving anything further. God Bless You All In Jesus Name.
If not Jesus, who are these scriptures describing. I don't know of anyone else this can be said of. Read them & know. The whole Bible is about God & Jesus was/ is God in the flesh. The old testament about Him going to come, the new testament that he came & will return. Here's the scripture to back up what was being meant by that statement. I won't write them out so find a Bible and read please. Isaiah 53: 1-12 , Isaiah 7:14 , Isaiah 53:2 , Isaiah 9:6 "We have esteemed Him smitten, sticken by God, a Virgin shall conceive a son" ect.... A country cannot bare a child. Don't know how anyone can miss this but anyway. Believe what you want, I know what I believe too. ❤🙏😍 Pray for your understanding ☺️
Vladimir Putin is hardly the person to whom I would look for prophetic revelation. The fact is, only those very few who have seen his face has any idea what he looked like.
I would have to go with the oldest depiction as being most likely to be closest to his actual appearance. I doubt that he had black skin as he was a Jew, born to Jewish parents. Even though his father was technically God if you're a believer, I would have to assume that since the Jews were his chosen people, he had the same appearance as them. Since the Jews are a Semitic people, especially in the time of Jesus, he should have had a Semitic appearance. So, he would have had swarthy skin and more likely than not, curly hair. Whether or not he had a beard is unknowable. There is a prohibition in the Talmud against shaving a man's face with a straight razor. That doesn't mean that they couldn't shave using some other instrument. It's likely that beard wearing varied between different Jewish communities. Thus, Jesus could be pictured either way and have a 50% chance of being accurate.
Jesus gave us two commandments to Love Our Heavenly Father with our whole heart and mind and Love Others as we Love Ourselves 💘 What Jesus looked like is not important WHAT He Taught us is Important‼️‼️‼️
You know, I just realized how blessed I am to be blind? because His appearance cannot, and will not, and should not bother me. At the end of the day, it is more important for me to realize how much he loves me, how much I should love my neighbor and family and friends, and most of all, how much of His blood he spilt for me to buy my pardon. so, who says being blind is a disadvantage and burden? not at all.
imho, He may had usually appeared dignified w/ trimmed hair & shaven face however prior crucifixion, he was held captive where normally one's unkempt & unshaven... regardless, what's important is faith and his teachings.... love one another regardless of race, color, appearance, stature, gender, beliefs... etc....
I'm American of European descent. We have European Jesus, Korean Jesus, African Jesus etc. Who cares. Of course, it's fair to expect he was likely darker complected given the region. Unfortunate that people get hung up on this. Christianity is not a "white man's religion." Christianity spread out according to geography. It hit Africa before it Europe. The Ethiopian Bible predates the others for example. Nobody knows what Jesus actually looked like and nobody ever will. Get over it. It's not about that. Christianity has such an amazing message for the whole of humanity and THIS is what ppl focus on? Who cares.
The song of Solomon is not about Jesus. Solomon was visited by the queen of Sheba, modern day Ethiopia. This is likely the inspiration for the song. The song has a black woman telling the Israelites not to stare at her because her skin is black. What more prove do you need that Israelites were not black?
The Ethiopian bible was copied from 4th century Syrian Christian texts. The apostles preached in Rome and Greek cities according to the bible, including the Ethiopian version.
It doesn't matter what Jesus Christ look like he's our lord and savior stop with the color, I love Jesus Christ no matter what color he is, God doesn't see color we humans do it is really sad because Jesus Christ died for all of us and we are questioning his color, very sad....
For those who truly want to be Christians: What matters is to accept the Lord Jesus into our hearts as our personal Lord and Savior and to serve Him in spirit and in truth. All these - Jesus' skin color, eye color hair color & hair texture issues - are NOT of God. (What did He really look like? People just have their prejudiced emotions and imagination to rely on and Romanticism is NOT of God either)
I’m going with the Shroud of Turin. Too many facts about it to not be his. And he is shown to be a Semitic featured man. While whatever he looked like when he was here, we do not know what he looks like now.
I believe that God did want us to know exactly how Jesus looked so that a worship of an icon or a figment of what he might have looked liked. We were not too worship icons but the person of Christ Himself. I doubt that Jesus was a black man because he came through the line of Noah's son Shem, not the son of Ham. Other people have curly hair and not are not black people. Also Christ descended from Semites through Isaac, Jacob, King David (redhead). They married pretty much within there tribes especially those in the tribe of Judah and the Levites. There was a variation in the hair and color of eyes. King Solomon had blue eyes....hmmm. Christ could have looked surprisingly like none of what we thought. The importance of Christ was not in what He looked like physicality but the fact that He was God incarnate. Be careful that you don't create a Jesus in an image of your imagination.
The facts of this video are truly important to the Christianity community and faith. However, we have to look beyond our Lords exact image and thank our father for sending him to us. 🙏 "Love your neighbor as yourself" Leviticus 19:18.
However He looked like. The mortal man died. The resurrected Jesus with immortalized body for heaven might have looked different because His disciples didn't recognized Him on sight. I think they recognized Him by the way He had spoken. I think this controversy is being intentionally fanned, because the identity of the Jews that returned to "the land" is being questioned, because of their features. The dragon Revelation 12:17, is really very crafty. He is manipulating misleading people to reject "Israel", for the end-time scenario. Blinding people to not think logically that the present generations of Jews, had been living with other nationalities , for almost 1,900 years.
While we can all have our opinions, of course Jesus would not probably be what some call white or black, most likely his skin color would have been like most middle eastern Jewish men of his day and yet the book of Isaiah gives a description way before his coming to earth. While this may raise questions for many, it confirms some important facts about how & why he would come. Humble in appearance, not like so many attractive people competing for the cover of GQ. That was not how he came, read the Bible. He was not wanting to draw attention to himself to be boastful and arrogant and especially not sexual attractive. As the Bible says, not comely in appearance. Most importantly, we shouldn't dwell so much on what He, JESUS, looked like but what he came to do, save us from our sins!! I know its hard because we want to imagine Him & how he looked then and believe me, being an artist makes it even harder because we want to see him so much & depict that for others the world over but the Bible even says not to do that. God forgive us please. I know years ago I made my version of Him carrying the cross & wish I hadn't. Mine was right before the passion of the Christ movie & in my painting I made his skin in between dark and light. Most people have a mixture & again, God doesn't want us to be hateful or divided over it. Just like within our own families, it varies in our skin tone. Now when He returns, I'm sure he will be glorious but still, we will want to worship Him because of who He is & what He's done for us and we'll want to be with Him and he will make us like he is, incorruptible and perfect. 🙏❤🕊️ ✝️🛐
The book of Isiah is nof about Jesus but about Israel and Jerusalem. That is the 'suffering servant'. And no Israelite interpreted it in any other way.
I’ve seen him being one of the 144000, he is Middle Eastern looking long straight black hair bright amber gold eyes. He was born Jewish. 💙🙏💙Jesus was and isn’t African with Afro hair. I don’t care what complexion he has I love him with all my heart and he’s my lord and Savior 💙
Even if jesus was black or white use to hear people saying jesus oùr saviòr as black but let me say brothers and sister we beĺìeve where we did not see theres no other jesus òñly oùr lord an deliver amèn😢
@@marialanchester8180So Why does he say he was black then, Why Does GOD Almighty say that the children of Israel look like the kushites ( Black people) explain that I'll wait
WHY do you or anyone else alive, ASSUME to know what Jesus Christ looked like. What's more He is Jewish and would not have looked like a Middle Eastern Arab. Just stop trying to prove the Bible and just believe that it is the true word of God, it's that simple.
I find it interesting that some one would say Putin should stay out of religious matters as if any area of human existence some how only belongs to specific human beings. He has the same right as every human being to discuss religion.
“Neither in the New Testament, nor in any genuine writings of the first age of Christianity, can any trace be discovered of the use of statues or pictures in the worship of Christians, whether public or private.” (A Concise Cyclopedia of Religious Knowledge) “In the early Church, the making and veneration of portraits of Christ and the saints were consistently opposed.” (The New Encyclopedia Britannica) “Although the primitive Church was not averse to art, yet it had no images of Christ.” (Encyclopedia of Religion Knowledge)
These are the possible descriptions of Jesus in his earthly body. If you want to know what Jesus we are waiting for looks like, read Revelation. A full description is all there. He looks nothing like the earthly version.
I More Inclined To Believe That Yeshua Looked Like The Image On The Shroud Of Turin! But No Matter What His Race Was He's Still My Precious Lord And Saviour Yeshua Jesus Christ Of Nazareth!!! And He's Alive And Sits At The Right Hand Of The Father In Heaven! Shalom And Amen!✝️✝️🛐🛐😇🌟🤗🙏🙏🙏🇨🇦🇮🇱♾️🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🗽🦅❤❤❤‼️
Oh wow if you want the facts then look at the letter from the Roman soldier who saw Jesus Himself!, see the Military report that Punches play Road to Cesar and crust fiction of Jesus Christ you are a letter to him he’s priming and he was a blonde man and he was white if you look at the historical documents there won’t be any more controversy!
Our lord and savior what a humble beautiful lovable man who brought us the divine sacred law of our beloved creator and Heavenly Father. Praise be our lord for he is magnificent
I gottaxsay, Jesus was Jewish not black!! Even the darker stained drwaings, u can tell by bone structure he's a Caucasian. Art work then was horrible and by no means important. St Luke was the first one to draw the holy family and his art is in rome, poland, and Lithuania. The first art was Roman and he was shaved and White!! Romans also weren't black and Italy is hot and sunny also!!
As to the closest image of Jesus, the shroud of Turin, which has been re-examined after it was discovered that the fibers taken for C14 dating was from a later repair,,, individual fibers from those samples were analyzed, and TWO separate date ranges were found. some from the 1st century AD, and others from when the repair was likely done in medieval times.
Made-up pictures they all are showing only imaginations according to culture and preference and skill of the artist...! For sure but is Jesus has to have been a person with a look of great and unique dignity, beauty, internal power, charisma, individuality and godly love....!
No one knows what Jesus looks like.Only the disciples and the people that live around Jesus at the time when Jesus was on earth. No one knownor he looks like today
It would be nice if people would consider Jesus Christ teachings than what he looked like. For instance, Jesus said in Luke 4:43 "I must also declare the good news of the Kingdom of God to other cities, because for this I was sent." As you see Jesus was sent by Jehovah God to speak about the Kingdom of God; not about his looks or skin color! 🙏☀️
Buat saya pribadi, terlepas Yesus berwarna putih atau hitam. Saya lebih bersyukur karena Yesus datang kedunia sebagai penebus dosa dan penyelamat buat orang yang percaya kepada Yesus. 😊
Stop pushing your ancestors false narratives please! Just tell the truth, if color don’t matter. Both these scriptures give us details that pretty obvious that Jesus was not a Caucasian man. Dark skin and woolly hair, who does this sound like? Rev 1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; Rev. 1:15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
Jesus is Jesus it doesn't matter what color he people should know he was born in the Middle East so that he has brown skin. Come on people get it together let's go.
Ladies and Gents..... You are all wrong, how you may say? simple as an artist I can say that every person that draw and or sculp statues will only use references that are known to describe any idea or subject. As a Hispanic man, if I never saw other races or cultures, I would depict image's with what I am most familiar with (A Hispanic Man) For example, take several artist and ask them to draw an extraterrestrial creature with certain features..... all will draw something different some may be close to others but different after all. So why not think this didn't happened before with all these artists they didn't have a source, just a made-up image in their mind. All the depictions of all biblical religious characters are wrong. You have all been fooled.
No matter the shade of brown Jesus was a man of color as described in the bible. The sad thing about this is the horror some have at the thought Jesus could possibly be a person of color. But, a depiction of Jesus as white goes without question...it is celebrated. The racism is so apparent. One cantrust that being from a particular part of the world that its safe to say Jesus was a person of color. The pope even prays to the black madonna in the vatican but no one cares. The hate and fear in this world keeps us all far from the goal of Jesus' sacrifice and teachings. It is not odd that any group of people would depict Jesus as they saw themselves. A depiction as described in the bible is rarely ever seen. Fact is not a soul truly knows.
Concentrating on what Jesus looked like seems frivolous. We should concentrate on what Jesus stood for, his teachings and praises to worship God, our heavenly Father.
Yeshua (Jesus) (Yahushua) Yeshua is the WAY the TRUTH the LIGHT Yeshua is the word of the Creator, the Father in his image all flesh and blood of humanity was made, God Almighty (Yahuah Elohim) Yeshua has the keys to the life, death, the Kingdom of Heaven, and the Kingdom of God (Yahuah Elohim) Yeshua is the Son of the Almighty God The Almighty God (El Elyon Elohim) Yeshua and the Holy Spirit are one. There is only one way to God and to eternal life Yeshua(Jesus) Yeshua was the word of God made flesh, who lived and experienced our temptations and fallen world, gave himself who was perfect to end blood sacrifice, a symbol from the creator that sins are pardoned and no more sacrifice is necessary, Yeshua is the gateway to allow us to inherit the Kingdom of God by admitting sin against God and each other, turning from evil, loving what is good 😊 , Loving God and loving one another. ❤️❤️❤️ John 3:16 John 5:24-30
Love thy neighbor. Who is thy neighbor? Look around. Those people you see are your neighbors. Anywhere you go those people are your neighbors. Let's consider it like this too, though shalt not make unto thee ANY graven image. Maybe that's why we don't have period pictures of Jesus. 🤔
A person who is stricken with hunger and near death does not literally turn blacker than coal. So people ' purer than snow & whiter than milk ' can not be taken as literal either. Unless you're willing to believe that the Nazarites were albinos, which are really the whitest people in existence. (I personally believe that there's more biblical evidence that the ancient Israelites were white skinned, semi - brown skinned and brown skinned as well with differing facial features etc. as well) For example: Solomon's beloved described him clearly as white skinned but Solomon himself described, the part of his beloved that wasn't exposed to the sun, as non-black but non-white either. Song of Solomon - in Bible.
Yeshua's lineage is in the bible and so he was a Jew. He himself said "Salvation is of the Jews" so thats pretty clear. Maybe now, (post resurrection) he appears to each race as a member thereof in order to make himself more relatable to them? To Jews, a Jew. To Blacks, a Black. To Asians, an Asian, etc.?
My life revolves around my King Jesus. I could literally care less what color He is. He could be purple and i will still bow at His feet. Frankly Jesus is a Jew in the Line of David is He white no,is He African American no. He would look like He from the middle east. More importantly, there is a reason Gods word doesn't say. Jesus wants ALL people to come to Him. Every tribe tongue and nation. The Same reason God didn't want humans to have moses body when He died(in fact satan fought micheal for it) the people now would behave the same way. They would worship the image and one race of people would exclude others. So this conversation needs to be left alone and worship the King because of what He did and not what color He is. Icons are idoltry!
We are not to remember Jesus as a figure. We are to remember the reason he was here and what he did for all man kind .to away our sins so we could live forever with him .
ID JUST LIKE TO SAY I'M 66 YEARS OLD AND WHITE AND HONESTLY IT DON'T MATTER HOW EVER HIS LOOKS WERE HES STILL MY SAVIOR
Mine too
So easy to say when you have not had this "White" image used against you as white people used it to enslave and kill millions!!!!!
All of the above, It's a matter of faith. Blessed is he who believes even without seeing.
John 20:28-29

Jesus was from the line of Shem, not the line of Ham. He was not of African descent. Not all Middle Eastern people are of dark complexion.
For the people who are worried about what color he was. I fear for you. Jesus made it clear to love each other despite what color you are. It says to love thy neighbor. It doesn't mention unless thy neighbor is a different color than you. Stop the ignorance pushed by the government to keep us divided and more controllable.
Said Perfectly! Jesus taught us to Love Our Heavenly Father with our whole heart and mind and to Love Others as we Love Ourselves 💘
That's not the point. Nothing wrong in being honest and saying how it is. Jesus was Jewish. Let's not pretend otherwise in the name of political correctness and inclusivity.
@FINDINGFITNESS101 I agree with you 100% but some people are obsessed with it and they want him to be their color so bad and it's not healthy.
None of them.
Blessed are they who have not seen me but believe. Amen 🕊

People who saw Jesus said he was blue eyed, brown hair w sun hi lights, white or olive skinned, tall. Who knows what tall was back then? Josephus wrote about him
There are no descriptions of Jesus appearance except a fraudulent letter written hundreds of years later. (And Revelation depicting him as an angelic light-being after his ascension.)
Here is a comment on it's authenticity:
The letter attributed to Pontius Pilate about Jesus is widely considered a forgery for several reasons:
Lack of Historical Evidence: There is no contemporary historical evidence that such a letter existed.
The Bible said his eyes are like flames of fire and flames can change colors even look blue.
White european is a lot closer to the middle east than black african.
He’d at least be Carthagean in looks. Considering location.
It is just a devise way Satan has to divide people and destroy all he can
Agreed
Jesus was not black or middle eastern looking. In Pilate’s letter it was metioned he had gold hair so light. I dislike these assumptions made from scholars and pass it as fact. They don’t know. I am from southern Italy yet I am blond with green eyes. So ppl would assume I should be dark. So take with a grain of sakt what scholars assume. That pisses me off!

Why are you so mad ...his colour doesn't matter
Mohammad had a very white skin... almost albino. And he was a middle eastern arab. To rule out Jesus having fair skin is absurd.
This is supported by several passages in the New Testament:
Healing: In the Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles, there are numerous accounts of the disciples performing healings after receiving the Holy Spirit.
For example, in Acts 3:1-10, Peter heals a lame beggar at the temple gate.
Forgiveness of Sins: In John 20:21-23, Jesus breathes on the disciples and says, "Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone's sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven."
This passage is interpreted by many Christians as granting the disciples the authority to forgive sins, a power derived from the Holy Spirit.
Wait... are you talking about the khazarian converts?
There are people of many ethnicities with red hair because it comes from a very strong gene. Israel itself has always been in that crossroads area between Europe, Asia and Africa. That area has always been subject to different ' skin tones ' etc. and naturally those skin tones etc. were more similar to the countries which are closer to each of those three continents. (Abraham was from Ur and the location of Ur was more to the South and much more the East of Israel)
@@theurbanthirdhomesteadsounds like he drinking his ancestors whiskey 😂
.Iranian.actually
The gene responsible for red hair is recessive, not dominant.
This is the opposite of a 'very strong gene'.
Jesus was a Nazarene Jew. Nazarene Jewish men kept their hair long as was their custom.
I accept the Nazarene, long hair and beard. The way Pontius Pilate described him
Imagine being so hung up on Christ's complexion & hair colour, and yet still claiming to be a Christian? Be more concerned with His message & sacrifice than on the former points.
Yes you are right
Which ever colour he is my saviour❤
Evil will do anything to devise and entangle its victims to control them !!! Fact is an image of Christ is not needed in any way. Faith does not require such !!!!
His words matter more than his looks.
We know exactly what Jesus looked like. We know his height, his build, his hairstyle and every feature of his face and body in 3D. We even know his blood type, unless you want to push that completely debunked story that the Shroud f Turin is a fake. Jesus performed miracle after miracle and that one still exists.
Diverse and culturally sensative images? "Accurate" and "inclusive" are not the same thing. Does objective truth matter anymore?!
Not since the states made it illegal to shame people for their wrongdoing. Gluttony for example
Doesn’t matter what color Jesus is, the religion isn’t based on God or Jesus’s color.
Look at the image of the shroud of turin. Thats my Jesus.
I don't care what the colour Jesus Christ was, I just know He is my Saviour and Lord.
We have the shroud of Turin
Who cares what he looked like? What really matters is his message!
Show them the Ethiopian Bible. Yeshuah is Black. Not white
Isaiah 53: 1-12 , Isaiah 7:14 , Isaiah 53:2 , Isaiah 9:6
"We have esteemed Him smitten, sticken by God, a Virgin shall conceive a son" ect....
A country cannot bare a child. Don't know how anyone can miss this but anyway. Believe what you want, I know what I believe too.

Vladimir Putin is hardly the person to whom I would look for prophetic revelation. The fact is, only those very few who have seen his face has any idea what he looked like.
Wow, even Putin went woke.
Knowing the Bible, and the House/Tribe of Judah. This is impossible. Truth is more important than appeasement of ignorance.
Jesus gave us two commandments to Love Our Heavenly Father with our whole heart and mind and Love Others as we Love Ourselves 💘 What Jesus looked like is not important WHAT He Taught us is Important‼️‼️‼️

Only the message matters not skin color

When the Lord Jesus call me to be raptured to join Him in Heaven He could be any color He liked I will still love Him and Him alone forever.
the shroud of Turin
"Love your neighbor as yourself" Leviticus 19:18.

Ladies and Gents.....
You are all wrong, how you may say? simple as an artist I can say that every person that draw and or sculp statues will only use references that are known to describe any idea or subject. As a Hispanic man, if I never saw other races or cultures, I would depict image's with what I am most familiar with (A Hispanic Man)
For example, take several artist and ask them to draw an extraterrestrial creature with certain features..... all will draw something different some may be close to others but different after all.

Lamentation 4:7-8 gives a description of Nazarite before and after they sinned.
Jesuscrist can look as he pleases❤
