Today, Native American population is 15 million, while the European population, in the Continents of America + Europe, is a staggering TWO BILLION! A shocking sad truth. 😔 In my humble opinion, it's about time to decolonize the Colonized lands, and return it to rightful owners Native American people. Notorious global cardinal crimes the Christian West has committed, and benefited a great deals, such as Slavery & Colonialism had long been over, why on earth is notorious Colonization still lingering on, may I ask? 😔

Its good to see Natgeo getting its production standards up to the level of youtube film makers. But its frustrating to see that they have not gotten out of 2000s unscripted but highly constructed narrative style. At times I feel like a producer is standing just off camera saying "that was great...but could you say it again but this time with more emotion and don't be afraid to get really worked up! Aannnd action!"
Imagine the bear thinking the way Bears think, 3:47 'all year long I live in the woods and it's always a danger when I come out now to make my living where I live in the wild.'
So true that the commercial fishing is taking all the king crab with little restrictions while the residents are limited in what they try to catch. It's all about big industry paying off certain people who make the rules!!!!

Takes his dog out to search for a bear and than says he would be heartbroken if the bear got to his dog🤦🏾♀️ Why would you put your dog in a position to be fatally harmed? That really made me sad😢
its such a shame that the locals were forced limited to three per family. like i could undertand if it was 1 per adult and half per kid.... but like two adults get 3 crabs. And 2 parents with 6 kids also only get three crabs. all because people who didn't live there came in and overfished for years. and now they're the ones who have to suffer.
so u said sorry to your dog saying that he had to catch his own crab to have some to eat, i hope you gave some of your crab to your dog while hes laying there watching u eat it. Give him some crab please
How does Jessie Holmes really take care 24 dogs plus 2 pregnant dogs, I don't see his dogs from 3 seasons ago, he uses these dogs, how does he give love and attention to all, this is abuse and neglect sorry no way he can take care of all of them I know this show is years old but I would like to see how many dogs je has in 2024 and how they all are

Thank you for the video. Much appreciated even if some are not. Please keep them coming.
That's why you never tie your dog up on a chain in Alaska inviting a Bear to dinner setting the plate 🍽️.

Tracker didn’t take a bear paw 😂 he got scratched running through the brush
My thoughts, too. He'd be missing half his face if the bear tagged him.
What do you know?
exactly.
Yaaaaa I. Thought that was a rather small scratch from a bear .... Must be a very kind bear
Such a wonderful story of indigenous first Alaskan living.😊

I dont think that most people understand that anywhere just a couple miles off the roadway in Alaska IS remote.
Imagine the bear thinking the way Bears think, 3:47 'all year long I live in the woods and it's always a danger when I come out now to make my living where I live in the wild.'
Can't complain about the bears being in "your property" when they're the original natives. YOUR on the BEARS PROPERTY
Joel please keep creating more and more authentic content like the ones you create on Subsistence Living in rural Alasaka...
It is difficult to believe the authenticity of the reason the dog ran into the woods. Dogs can be trained to run back to a person and wait

Wow! Great episode
He's got 1000% more experience than me but I don't think I'd tie my dog up once a bear just fought it
don't ever tie you dog up in the alaskin wilderness. You are going to get it killed by the bear
Do they have toothpaste baking soda or toothbrushes there.or mirrors.😮
Looked like he was going to attack...lol
Common occurrence in Alaska, as I lived there for 11 years.

I'd say the dog got a berry bush thorn n not a bear paw cause it would cause a lot more then a lil scratch
