This was early October, but it varies year to year. I think right now foliage is about 30-40 % changed in this area of NY
What month will be the best to do this train ride? I didn't like the rain.
I would say september- october, so you can see the leaves changing, There is no way to know if it will rain or not, just luck of the draw

Yeah, we weren't worried about it
