    you did not explian why we divide by 2 for the first 2 equations but divide by 4 for the others ?

    Why don't we take 2nd and 4th hamonic for closed air column?

      It is based on the wavelength and due to the fraction it is produced of the harmonic it is actually skipping one on the closed end to get back (it is just easier to consider the top of the fraction essentially in describing the harmonics)
