❤ Oh my gosh!!! Thank you dearly for your time, thoroughness, thoughtfulness, and valuable information!!! This session has been absolutely amazing!! I am considering micro locs due to having a stress spot in the center of my crown. Will counsel with a Loctician first to make sure it's wise to do that since my hesitation was due to this bald patch. Ive never relaxed my hair, couldn't stand wigs or weaves, and only wore a wig once due to a hair emergency. My dermatologist did a biopsy about 8 years ago and it came back negative, so either its from stress or too much of that press n curl growing up. Stopped getting my hair pressed in 2005 and went super natural. Thank you both once again. Abundant Blessings ALWAYS ❤
Thanks for sharing your story with us! I'm glad the biopsy came back normal and I hope you find so much joy in your hair journey! You'll have to report back and let us know what your loctician recommends because there may be someone in a similar situation who can learn from your story. Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the video, and for being a part a part of the family. Blessings to you too! 🫶🏿
@Kiyonce.Kartier oh I hear you! Maybe my next video can be dedicated to that specifically. In the meantime, if you head to my Sisterlocks playlist, the first loctican speaks episode we break down the maintenance of locs pretty thoroughly!
Hey girl, I personally never experienced bunching, but I was told you can prevent it by going to maintenance appointments on time and asking your loctician to correct it. I also made sure to braid and band my hair when my locs were still maturing! I hope this helps. Do you have locs too?

Such a helpful series!
Thanks so much sis! I want to be helpful in any way possible!
Let me know what you want the next "Loctician Speaks" episode to cover!
@@tiffofili I would like to hear about Melissa's personal journey with locs and some of the reasons she felt led to get them
MAINTENANCE! I’m new and it’s so much conflicting information about deep conditioning, leave in’s, rotations, washing schedules

How did you deal with bunching? How does that happen?
