I really enjoyed your video. Its very educational. I just got my Tester Sisterlocs this weekend. Im super excited to start my loc journey with my own hair. Its salt and pepper!! ❤❤❤
I have Sisterlocks from a real consultant. Sisterlocks are the best hair decision I ever made. I was just talking to my son about my curls(plural)- carefree curl, wave Nuveau, tcb curl, and many others.
Yes no regrets at all! This morning I woke up and scooped up my hair into a bun and that reaffirms this decision for me. Congratulations on your journey as well.
Plucked chicken is the phrase...LOL. I did not have an ugly phase. I just roller set mine in the beginning. My issue was that I am going gray at an alarming rate and I don't like gray hair. I know some people love it, but personally it is not for me. The hindered me from wearing my hair in the beginning (now I don't cars as much after 6 months). I wanted mine a little thicker too. I wish I had known about the different rotations in interlocking because I feel like that determines how your locs progress. Your hair is looking good! Enjoy your journey.
I know I’m a random person to you but I’ve always thought gray hairs are so beautiful and like classy and ageless in the best possible way. But, I’m considering getting sisterlocs like Maria but I genuinely think my hair is too fine and my head is too big for it but we’ll see.
@@iamnaomiore It's amazing how fine hair will thicken over time with sisterlocks. I watched a lot of videos of people with my hair type so I could get a feel of what they will look like on me. I get sick of hearing "trust the process," but it's true. LOL. Doesn't matter what size head you have, they look good on everybody. I actually wore a wig in the beginning because I was insecure, but now I'm wearing my hair more and more.
One thing about sisterlocs is that it truly makes each person confront some of their own hair beliefs. I hope you embrace your grays(i'm one of those that love it) and thrive in your hair journey.
@@iamnaomiorewhen you get it done, you will watch it do all the things you never thought it could do. Fuller, thicker, healthier & more options in styling. I love retries because the grid makes me smile.
Absolutely not true. It’s natural that after 2 days of loc’ing the hair, your head would hurt. Also, the nature of doing any tightening on the scalp might cause pain. The meds will help.
I got tender headed from being a low manipulation natural for over 10 years. Meaning I finger detangled my hair and rarely used brushes. I've been locked for 2 years. The stimulation from reties give me headaches. My loctician is very gentle and doesn't retie my hair tightly. So that's not true for everyone.
“I was always meant to be rich!” I felt that sis! YAASSSS!!!
Here's to entering our rich woman era

YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO TAKE ANY PAIN MEDS, talk to your loctician or go somewhere else, RUN

@themariafade I have never had any pain. My installation or my retie none. THAT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT NORMAL
